Panino Cappuccino is a hidden gem in an otherwise sketchy parking lot. I have no problem routinely driving 30 minutes in each direction to have dinner there and I am never disappointed. This is a classic Italian restaraunt. It has been there for years and you can see their commitment to quality in the food and the service. Their pasta is fresh and on par with or better than most Italian places in the GTA. What surprised me was the quality of the steaks (I know eh?). The meat is very flavourful and evenly cooked with (what looks like) sus-vide persition. For dessert try the coconut cream pie (made in-house). You are going to want to come back just for the pie. Highly recommend this place. Well worth the trip.

Stumbled on this neat window ordering concept. Just in time for dinner. Weakness for Pasta... I had to give it a try. The fancy menu left me wondering if the food was good enough to back it up. It was a busy place as I constantly say walk up and order, drivers picking up orders from Skip The Dishes or Uber Eats. So as I wanted to be adventurous and try new places... I tend to stick with the same thing pending on Food from where... In this case I knew it would be pasta and when I saw Penne A La Vodka . I ordered it. 10mins wait I was told so I also ordered Espressos... I mean... for $1... how could I not! Espresso was good. Sat away from shop to smoke and whe I returned, food was reach and was told a surprise was left for me! Dessert! So the food... Penne A La Vodka was a hit... could have been a tad more saltier (personal preference) Portion was very good! The surprise.. was a beauti of a donut... they gave me... just because. Yet to try this. If your in the area... must try

Talk about friendly! We felt very welcomed when we walked into this place. It's a small restaurant so don't expect much but it was more than comfortable. We ordered a delicious salad to start and the portion was more than enough for 2 people and very fresh. Really enjoyed it. We then shared a pasta dish with calamari, jumbo shrimp and scallops in a spicy tomato sauce. There was lots of seafood and the noodles were homemade and delicious but I felt the sauce could have been spicier. All in all it was a positive experience and I would definitely go back. The only thing I was missing was the offer of fresh black pepper and fresh Parmesan cheese served with our food.

This is a true gem. I have been going here for 11 years now, and every time I go I order the same thing :'D but I have every now and then tried something new and I was never disappointed. The chefs in the back really work hard to deliver delicious Italian food. They service is friendly and the restaurant is clean and well decorated. I only wish they had more washrooms, or one for men and one for women. Their gnocchi is second best... After nonnas of course ;)

Watching it, it reminded me of Shanghai and their clubs with all the lights, and electric music. Immediately I was excited! So I called them and made a reservation on Monday for Friday for 5 people. I got in contact with Alex, the manager, he set us up for Friday and answered any question I had. As this place is very new, there weren't many images or a website set up when I found them, and I was still unsure if they were open due to COVID. But they are open! I informed my girls of this place, they were thrilled and our group quickly turned from 5 to 7. Luckily, I called Leng Keng back asking if I could increase the size of my party & they were able to accommodate me! During our reservation: Coming to the place, the exterior isn't the most attractive setting. But as we looked past it, inside was just like the video that I had seen. It took me back to the time I was out with my expat friends in Shanghai club hopping. Covid protocols: Since we're still in a pandemic, Leng Keng had great protocols emplaced. As we showed our IDs to security, we signed in with our name and phone numbers. Once inside, there were masks & hand sanitizer available at the door. The tables were well distanced and people would stay within their allocated booths. The atmosphere of Leng Keng is extremely beautiful, nothing like I've ever seen in other Toronto bars/lounges/clubs. The lights are constantly moving & changing colours very beautifully as electric music plays in the background. We were greeted by very nice servers that showed us to our table. Once seated, we were able to take in the place more, & my friends were truly impressed by the place. For food we ordered Calamari and French Fries to share. For drinks we ordered Cosmos, Rum & Coke, Margaritas & a couple shots of Vodka. Everything tasted well, besides the Calamari that was slightly too fishy, the Margaritas didn't come with limes or salt on the rim of the cup. Other than that, this place was magnificent & we do believe Leng Keng has great potential in being the next trending spot in Toronto. We will be back soon! Thank you!

For me though, when you're in the business of making dreams come true, being just nice is the expectation, hence the average rating, though I am leaning more towards 3.5. Came here for a wedding recently and I've got to say, the decor was very impressive from the outside. With many banquet halls, they may be all bling'd up on the inside, but the outside looks like a warehouse entrance. Not with Hazelton, it looks like a luxurious chateau from the outside, surrounded by ample parking. Great first impression. The lobby and ballroom were also beautiful in their own right. Sparkling chandeliers and a spacious reception area allowed for a comfortable mingling experience. Staff were great throughout the experience. The hors d'oeuvres were passed around generously and when a glass was shattered, it was promptly cleaned up. The bartenders were efficient, though the bar was outside the ballroom and created an awkward crowd of people leaving to get drinks once in awhile. Onto what some argue is the most important part of a wedding, the food. Sadly, this is where I drew the line between average and good. The food here just wasn't...that good. The risotto was served prison-style, splat onto your plate from a guy with a ladle, varying in splat sizes. The steak, while pretty tasty, was a very well done, brown piece of meat with none of that desirable juiciness. The dessert was a pretty citrus sorbet nestled within a whole orange or a lemon. Great for Instagram, but way too sour to finish. All things considered, Hazelton Manor is still a solid place to host events, given its beauty. The food wasn't great for me but according to the other reviews, this might be just a matter of the choices that were made. In a city with a thousand banquet halls, this would be a good place to start looking. (48/100) - 2017

Music was good, bathrooms were clean, but god damn, the reason for my 2/5 rating is because of the DJ. Let's just call him...10 second switch! Because that's right, 10 seconds after they start planning a song and you realize what the song is...BAM! Change of song! And while you might think that fast switches make for a solid variety of music, it ends up just giving you a headache. You can never really dance or sing to any of the songs because they kept switching so fast. Although the music was decent, this factor was kinda annoying and caused us head out early and just call it a night. My sister, her friend and I all agreed that it was the right choice to leave the club after 30 minutes. The club was upscale with the 2 weird gold statues and palm trees. The lightings and sound system were okay. NYE: The crowd was young and wild (it's nice to put it that way). Honestly, it was filled with people who just finally reached their legal age of drinking and alcoholics. It also had few butt-grabbing lovers and pervs. A guy held me up despite the fact that I tried hard to push him away and my sister's friends had to ruthlessly asking him to put me down. I was pissed because the bouncers didn't do anything about it. TWICE! THAT GUY CAME BACK TWICE AND THE BOUNCERS IGNORE IT!!!! The club was filled with drunk people as well. They were drunk, they didn't know what they were doing and again the bouncers just ignored them. They fell on the floor multiple times, stepped on my shoes, stole my NY hat and my glow sticks. The floor was wet and sticky. Broken glasses everywhere because someone decided to just throw their shot glasses there. The DJ was good tho! Second time I came back here: No, the music was just....slow and boring. I think it was for grinding lovers. Grinders were everywhere: at the booths, close to the pole, next to the statues.. everywhere! I ordered Jägerbomb and the bartender gave me Jack bomb which was really nasty (not a fan of Jack Daniel's) A convenient place if you decide to have some fun after a movie or Dave & Buster's but for sure you will have better experience with club scene downtown. Free parking tho:) But I'd rather go downtown, pay for a parking spot, and pay same price (or even cheaper) for cover, music, and drinks.
