Bacon Avocado on sourdough
Justin F.

It's been a long time since I had Panera, but I went for lunch the other day with my father in attempts to help fix some of our problems. Idk if we accomplished that, but the food was great anyway! I rarely have any complaints about Panera. They seem to be great every time! I got the new sourdough sandwich with avocado and applewood bacon. It was delicious and (mostly) nutritious! I love that they make pretty much everything fresh on site, and dining in at this location actually proved to be a rather clean and sanitary experience. Good place to bring a laptop and get some work done, too! Far less crowded than a Starbucks, and Jane behind the counter was especially friendly to us. I think she had a little crush on my dad. So cute!

Panera bread always a place that feels so welcoming. Hit this one at a quiet time kind of had to find workers to attend to us. Once we got somebody were so sweet and pleasant. I asked for a toasted bagel with butter and expected the butter to be pre-melted while bagel was being toasted however they were kind enough to take back the bagel and toast the butter onto it for me upon request. This shouldn't be and isn't standard practice. Next time I hope to remember to ask them to the toast bagel and the butter together from the start. Girlfriend's sandwich was good however she was surprised by it having horseradish which was not stated in the description and it was a little hot for her and masked some of the flavor of the steak. I had a significant portion and I thought it was just perfect for me. Anyway Panera always gets two thumbs up for me. Kind of makes you feel like you're in the Nordic country. Always bright and airy and open especially when the hours are not busy. I particularly like this location for its design and layout in welcoming aesthetics. And impressed that they have a heads up display alerting people that some of the drinks (Charged Sips) contain caffeine and to therefore be cognizant of the amount of caffeine one intakes.. That's an ethical thing to do. Also they've got new offerings coming in April for under $10; apparently they're getting more grains in their menu and then they offer a free $10 bonus card if you buy $50 worth so that's considerable savings if you use it or gift it.

I'm honestly not a huge Panera fan. But, I'll give credit where it's due. Overall I think Panera is deceivingly pricey and unhealthy. That you pick two is mostly just comprised of two full priced entrees and those soups are crazy high in fat and sodium. I have to give this one credit. The food came out quickly after ordering on the self serve kiosks and it was high quality. The place was clean and the few interactions we had with staff were positive. The new chicken sandwich is pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my to get it again, but it was good

For such a big bowel and price there is surprisingly little soup. This combination was 17 dollars. I could have gone to Texas Road House.

29 Nov 2021, 16:54; it has been sometime since someone did a review on this restaurant, so i thought i would stop in and see how things have progressed. Clean and neat dinning area and on a monday nite it's pretty quiet. There are a couple things that stand out on this visit. The flavors of the Turkey Bravo sandwich are certainly off. It has never tasted like this. Not sure why there is a change. The plating is also not good. Usually my experience has been the store is very particular about their plating. This visit it looks more like a small child just threw the items on the plate. The sandwich is very messy and the soup has obviously spilled. I may criticize any number things in past visits, but never has it been about the flavors or their plating. Not sure why. I will have to return to see if this is an abnormally or not The customer service during ordering was splendid and very polite

Stopped in today for a quick lunch. There was a long line at the counter so we decided to use their self service ordering kiosk. We went through the process of ordering and trying to pay but the system wasn't working. The lady next to us had the same issue as did the customer on the other side of us. So while we wasted time at the kiosk more folks moved in front of us to get in line. Fortunately the 2 cashiers taking orders moved the line quickly. Our cashier was very nice and helpful. She checked to make sure our order had not gone through then she said, " those machines aren't working". If they were aware then there should be signage communicating that to the customer. Fortunately we were not in a rush at that point but I'm sure many folks didn't have the time to waste. In any event, I ordered the flatbread cheese pizza. My order came through pretty quickly. Since we had been to Costco and had a lot of stuff in the back of the truck my husband said maybe we should get the food to go. When my order came up and I asked for a carry out box the gal was not pleasant. Good customer service would say, "absolutely,. Is there anything else I can get for you" as the take out box is handed over with a smile. Instead I got a cold stare that said, " woman, I'm sure glad you can't read my mind". The pizza looked awesome. It was perfectly cooked and even the customer next to me commented to that effect. While it was picture perfect, I wasn't really fond of taste. I think what didn't care for was the pizza sauce. I couldn't figure out specifically what it was but it just wasn't something I cared for. It was more orange than red and the flavor was odd. All in all, not a great experience. However, the restaurant is large and has plenty of seating.

The restaurant was nice and clean and inviting. It was a perfect stop for lunch on a hot day. My daughter and I had the pick 2 for lunch and it was perfect

Husband and I love this branch, always an array of seating to choose from, cosy and quiet for a chat. Quick service, and I love their UPDATE: Chris was extremely helpful at this branch with updating our new address (new building which makes it hard for businesses to find or deliver to) and also in making an item which was unavailable online! Thanks a lot. Made my lunch very enjoyable.

ordered a half ceaser salad with no chicken and a papaya passion drink. they gave me half ceaser salad with chicken and didn't ask what side i wanted just decided i would get bread for me. dude in the drive thru forgot to turn off his mic and called me "a fucking retard" terrible service. i called him out and said "next time you want to call someone a retard make sure to turn off your mic" he said "okay" left the window and had someone else bring out my food.

Updated the new store is hoot. Service has been great. And food quality is right on. Place can get busy during lunch. So plan accordingly.

It's a small space - a few tables inside and a few tables out - but don't let that or the line you are likely to encounter deter you. They crank out sandwiches quickly here. Said sandwiches include about two dozen hot and cold offerings as well as the ability to build your own. The meats are Boar's Head, but the desserts and soups are made fresh in-house. Check out the display case for salads and sides that might catch your eye. O'Brien's prides itself on its Reuben, and so I went with the "mini" version (a quarter rather than a half pound of meat) with a pickle for my first visit here. Ordering at the register was a breeze, and I was fortunate enough to snag one of the tables for dine-in. Though I was a bit skeptical that the Reuben would match the hype, it delivered. I don't know that it is without a doubt the best version I've had, but it is definitely up there. The grilled rye was nice and crisp, and I appreciated that they used both mustard and Russian dressing. That, plus the meat, kraut, and melty cheese, made for a very satisfying bite. At $10, the sandwich proved a good value, too. Unpretentious and nostalgically comforting (for Northern transplants, at least), O'Brien's is a well-oiled sandwich-slinging machine. Though that Reuben will be hard to top, I look forward to giving one of their other offerings (maybe a Cuban, maybe a Spicy Italian) a try.

It is more and more difficult to find a national fast food chain to have any real confidence in,…read moreeither as to the quality of the food or the service. And as for a double curse, at most of these spots, the prices go up as the portions tail off. I have found Jason's to be flying against these trends, consistently providing stable value and consistent flavor from a menu that is large and varied - with their full salad bar providing one of the very best values at any restaurant, national or local. On this visit, I was again picking up several items for a small family group. We chose fully loaded containers from the salad bar, a bow of chili, and a full sized Reuben sandwich. Once home, we split the items up for all to enjoy - nothing disappointed! This was a first try with the chili, and it was quite nice - plenty of well seasoned ground beef, no beans or onions, but was well topped with cheddar cheese! The Reuben contained 8 ounces of hot, tasty corned beef, great cheese, plenty of kraut, marble rye, and lots of 1000 Island Dressing. It was cut into the required pieces, and the additional dressing was shared - a bit messy but delicious in total. The center piece was the large amount of variety in the salad, and when well covered in the dressing this was great - not especially healthy with the amount of dressing I added! I'll be back soon as I noticed they are offering Beef Stew for a while - gotta try that.

The tenders had a really solid crunch without being greasy, and the hot honey added the perfect sweet heat balance. The Meal 3 with 2 sliders and 2 tenders was probably the standout though. The "saucy" hot honey combo worked way better than expected, especially with the hand-cut fries and homemade ranch on the side. Even the fries stayed crispy the whole meal, which says a lot. Portion sizes were solid for the price, the food came out quick, and the whole meal had that fresh-made comfort food vibe instead of tasting overly fast-food style. Washed it all down with a Coke and honestly left full and satisfied. If you're in Winston-Salem and craving sliders, tenders, or late comfort food, Sammy's Sliders is definitely worth trying.
