Green Goddess Cobb Salad
Jill C.

I deviated from my usual Asian chicken salad and regret it. I got the Greek Goddess Cobb salad. It was fresh and the hard cooked egg was surprisingly of a nice texture but I wasn't a big fan. Not the salad's fault. I like that panera readily has nutrition info and it's easy to find something that fits my goals. This location has plenty of parking and is easy to get to but the place is pretty unkept inside and attracts a range of characters. It's not the place's fault though. Lots of teens, a homeless regular but I haven't felt unsafe. I'd watch my belonging carefullly though. They're kind of understaffed but that's typical these days. It's not the best Panera but I come here to see a friend who lives near here.

This Panera has a ton of dine in seating. Free wifi and they clean tables pretty quickly. I got the new chicken tikka soup, a greek salad add grilled chicken, a new buffalo chicken baguette sandwich and a blueberry scone. Food all made fresh and was delicious. I will return.

What the watermelon feta salad SHOULD look like
Fallon G.

HORRIBLE experience! I have been to plenty of Panera Bread locations because it's such a great place to study and get a good meal. This particular location is just shameful. I ate lunch here with my sister today. When we walked in, I noticed a woman eating a watermelon feta salad so I ordered the same, a full salad. My sister ordered a half sandwich and half salad. I was so confused when we got our orders. First of all, my sister's half salad was bigger than my full salad. The watermelon feta salad, which also comes mixed with arugula, had only 6 wilted pieces of arugula. It was basically a small bowl of watermelon. I asked the manager, a young Hispanic woman, about our orders, and she was so rude! Instead of understanding my disappointment and trying to rectify the situation, she was arguing that I didn't know what I was talking about. She went on to explain that the HALF salad is normally bigger than the full salad....WHAT?! On top of that, the entire restaurant was swarming with flies. It was impossible to sit and eat our meal. I will never EVER be back here again. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location.

Too much mayo tuna!
Stefan H.

For me, this location is better than most! At least food is usually ready for pick-up on time and staff is pleasant. Food is your typical hit or miss Panera. Ordered a tuna sandwich which was heavy on the mayo making the tuna kinda thin and soupy! Got a sad-looking pickle too!

Three stars. Just another Panera Bread restaurant. This place comes with tables that are almost always topped with crumbs. Good place to come for a quick and cheap meal using coupons. I don't think I've ever paid the full amount for any of my Panera visits. There are usually 50% off coupons so make sure to look online and apply the promotion code via online or mobile app.

I'm actually gagging. Just left this panera and threw my food out. So dirty. Took a pic of this bin next to the Apple and chip bins. Someone dumped a drink into the bread bin along with garbage and watched as they served my bread from that bin. Yuck. Close it down.

Are you serious? This is a chicken chipotle avocado sandwich? Why is there only chicken and a chuck of avocado? Where's the sauce? The cheese? Literally so upset. This location sucks.

Delivery would be 45-60 minutes, so I set my timer for 30 so I'd be ready to put the light on in the vestibule for the driver to see. Before I knew it, I got a call that the delivery driver, Joshua, was at the door! It wasn't even 30 minutes! He must have cooked my food on the way over! Joshua was very pleasant and the food was very hot! I ordered a large half sausage pizza with a side of fried mushrooms, which were both delicious. The pie had a nice thick crust, which is how I like it. I never eat the bottom crust, but break off the thick crust and scoop up the toppings. It was perfect! The fried mushrooms were tender with a very crispy & tasty coating. They were a nice size and there were plenty of them...even had some left over. Everything from placing the order with a very sweet lady to my last bite was great! I definitely recommend trying this eatery. FYI: There is parking in the lot behind it (same as where Stephanie's Italian restaurant is, since there is no parking allowed in front on Bloomfield Ave.).

It was a very lively place to be and the server was such a delight. We had a sangria, a mimosa and a bullet 95. All excellent! In fact I had another sangria with dinner because it was so light and refreshing. My daughter loves arancini and theirs was perfection. The right amount of crunch on the outside with the tastiest sauce. She remembered a fancy grilled cheese that her dad made when she was younger. He told her it was mozzarella en carozza and ordered it for us to share. Omg, it was amazing. Grilled cheese for adults! I was getting kinda full from the drinks, appetizers and the most incredible bread (our server sent a loaf home with us-their ovens truly make a difference) so I ordered a side of Mama E's meatballs and risotto. Both were so very good and a couple of meals for me. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sole oreganata. The right amount of seasonings and the sole was cooked perfectly. It was delicate and flakey as it should be. My daughter picked the tortellini Alfredo and loved it very much. We were too full for desert but the server was super nice and brought a scoop of ice cream over a brownie and sang to my daughter. All in all it was an excellent meal, the service was amazing and the restaurant was everything we wanted it to be to celebrate a Milestone birthday. Weather permitting, you can opt to eat outside, inside or by the bar area if you want a more lively evening.

It comes with fresh cheese. Olive oil, red pepper, salt, and pepper are at the table. We ordered an eggplant rollatini appetizer which was three good size rollatinis, plenty for two people, even maybe 3-4. For entrees, we ordered short ribs and a salmon filet stuffed with crabmeat. The waiter asked how I wanted the salmon which I thought was odd for a stuffed filet. The entrees were both good, the short ribs were nicely done and seasoned. The kitchen or waiter made a mistake and brought me a piece of salmon, not the stuffed one I ordered. It was thick so I thought maybe it was stuffed but seared closed. As I cut in, I saw it was plain salmon. It was OK but very dry and not what I ordered. I cut into the middle, thinking maybe it was just stuffed in the center. Nope. I also then realized the side veggies were not what was on the menu (because they brought the wrong dish). I let the waiter know and he apologized. Mistakes happen and I was not going to insist on a new dish when I had eaten about 1/3 of this one. They did bring over a small cup of shredded crab meat and a sauce. Again, mistakes happen but what irked me was they didn't even adjust the price, charging me higher price for what I ordered, not the lower priced dish they served. I was not looking for a free meal or even a free dessert, but you don't correct the price on what you served??? Again, staff was all nice, but this is my second time there and second eh experience. Calandra does have a nice restaurant up the road, Med Grille, and that is always top notch.

The staff I encountered were friendly & patient, which is shockingly not the norm these days! I ordered the tuna melt & fries & took a seat at the counter. I was the only one sitting along the counter, but there are also a few tables in the back that had parties at them. My food was ready relatively quickly & was served to me with a smile. The fries were of the steak cut variety, which aren't my favorite, but no fault of the delis - just my personal preference. They were cooked well & served hot - can't ask for much more! The tuna melt was actually a sandwich & not an open faced sandwich, as they tend to be, and I found that to be a pleasant surprise. Open faced tend to get soggy quickly. The tuna was aplenty & it was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted & buttery as well. I do wish it was served with a pickle spear, though. Not sure if that's the norm & mine was forgotten or if it is not served as such. Either way, I'm obviously grasping at straws. Otherwise, it was a delightful lunch. I'm happy to have discovered The Cutting Board & even happier they are in the immediate area of my job, I will definitely be back to try more.
