    Buffalo chicken melt

I went to Panera last week and there was good and bad. The good was the Napa chicken salad sandwich. I've ordered it several times and I noticed the chicken salad was less and less and didn't cover the bread, but this time the chicken salad covered the bread and the sandwich was very good. The best one I r had in a long time. I also ordered the new buffalo chicken melt. Horrible. Looked nothing like the picture online and was barely any chicken on it , no onions, and had no flavor. It was very disappointing. I know stuff does not always look like the picture but this was terrible. Will I eat there again? Yes because I am a fan of the bagels and every restaurant can have a bad day, but they need to do better.

UPDATE: Called the restraunt to let them know what happened. Spoke with the manager about the thai salad and how it didn't have red peppers, edamamae, or carrots in it and she corrected me - said it didn't have carrots in it. Clearly pictured below is the ingredients listed in the thai salad. It has carrots in it. I don't see how this was relevant other than attempting to make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. She was really pleasant otherwise on the phone and they did offer me a free salad . But this is not the point. It's about the fact that everytime I go the salad is never made correctly or they forget something in the order. I won't be going back sadly :( ----- I don't understand why everytime I go here they mess up something in my order. I always try and be understanding that it sometimes happens but now it almost feels like I'm living in the truman show when I go here. Everytime I order a thai salad they almost always give me an Asian salad makeup with no edamamae, carrots, or peppers . At one point I thought I had the salads wrong and asked the employee what came in it. Before that they forgot both my sides of baguettes and chips. Panera isn't cheap and usually when I'm ordering it's for lunch so I don't have the option to turn around and go back. It's so infuriating at this point. I'm terribly sorry for making such a bad review but I feel I had no choice. I just want to be able to pick up a good salad for work. :(

Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT 1/2 sandwich and Summer Corn Chowder small
    Joyce C.

Ordered to-go and ended up eating in the restaurant. Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT was a treat. The bitter lettuce was fresh and a nice complement to the rich avocado and bacon. Corn Chowder is on the summer menu and a crave food for me. Lots of flavor without being milky in any way. The frozen lemonade was ready for us at the pickup station and the second drink cup was empty. Staff said I could make my own. So, I mixed it up - unsweetened tea and hibiscus ginger tea together. I enjoyed my hybrid tea but the frozen strawberry lemonade was quite awful. No strawberry flavor and the lemon flavor was 'powdery'. Poured it out and got a palatable soft drink from the beverage bar. And the frozen drink cup was quite small. Everything was tasty - except for the lemonade. Requested 'extra' utensils and only received just enough for the cups of soup.

Example of breast cancer awareness bags

Thought they were a breast cancer advocate the way they did special treats last year for breast cancer awareness month. I'm a breast cancer advocate and distribute materials and add treats along as a positive little goodies. I pass these bags out all over they are from VA breast care foundation so they educate and promote breast care, resources if diagnosed and then again bags vary what goodie items are inside. The girl at the drive thru literally acted disgusted over me offering her a bag and then said as if she was repulsed no to me asking her to give it to another employee. It was so rude and to treat a nice kind act as if I offended her and was handing her a pile of dog poop was so unnecessary and rude . When I said it was just a kind gesture and someone not wanting to see another women possibly have breast health issues she literally the girl who accepts cash and ppls credit and debit cards said she doesn't like to touch things other people have touched ....great you work with the public and your job is to touch things they have all day . I'm normally shown appreciation but here the attitude has really rubbed me the wrong way and I will NOT ever visit this store again. It's really one thing to kindly pass but seriously the way she acted was beyond dramatic and too much and so I just will not bring my $25 and change for 2 sandwiches and a brownie. I also wanted an apple but was never asked the option, I normally get a meal so when I wasn't asked I didn't know you got a side. So to me the worker can't do her job correctly and her acting so repulsed by people and the fact she hates to touch anything including money and forms of payment not a place I need to go

Half Greek salad half deli turkey sandwich. Awesome per usual. Panera never disappoints.

On our way home from Shenandoah we were looking for a place to eat. I wanted to try somewhere fun but we had the pooch, so we settled for what we knew. We can always sit outside at any Panera and this one was no exception. I hate to say it but I always kind of get the same thing when I come here. Half salad and half sandwich. And its always the Greek salad and usually one of the "healthier" sandwiches. And today was no exception, the basic deli Turkey. Anything you get from here is going to be delicious. Ive tried a lot of things and they have all been great. I kind of have to wonder why you are even reading reviews on Panera unless its to see how clean this place is? And again, its Panera. They have standards. So, was the food good? Yes-always. Was the place clean- Yes, always. Lots of outside seating, there wasn't a wait when we were there on a Saturday. Nuff said. Good place to go if your a traveler on your way our to the mountains or coming home from a day of hiking.

Why would such a popular place have so few or such slow staff working during the lunch hour? Slowest one I've ever been to.

Well thank goodness I finally decided to nip in to 3rd Generations Grill last evening for a hot meal and a cold beer after a long day. I was quite happy with the experience. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the dining room is large, open, and features a nice bar at the back with a decent selection of draft beer (sadly no dark options for the porter- and brown ale-loving crowd) and sundry spirits. The walls are plastered with rock & roll posters (they get extra credit for the Ziggy Stardust poster on the left side of the room as you enter) and the space is clean and well lit without being antiseptic and blazing. I think with a larger crowd (it was a bit sparse on my visit) the room could be a bit loud, so if quiet is your thing maybe plan for a low traffic time. After negotiating a workaround for the QR code-based online menu (I deduct a full star if that's my only option for ordering because I think it's poor service), I ordered the Generator burger from my very friendly, helpful, and service-forward bartender. What's great is I told him what I was looking for and he competently guided me to one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Double smashed patty, double bacon, cheese, onion. I added lettuce and tomato because I want to dupe myself into believing I had a vegetable that evening. Comes with side of their hand-cut fries and is a hearty portion of well prepared food. When I say this is a two-handed-eat-over-the-plate-like-a-caveman burger, that's exactly what it is. Thing is a monster of beautiful beef and bacon and cheese (sorry vegans, try again). Oh, and the food came out in good time--not fast food, but good food fast. I have a minor quibble with the fries which, while hand cut and nicely seasoned, were a bit under and kinda soggy. Not inedible, but could be better. I think if they blanched the fries before the final cook they'd achieve a crispier outside with that nice cushy potato centre you want in a French fry. But that's the only quibble. Service: six stars Food: four stars Ambiance: four stars Value: five stars I'll be going back again, for sure. No photos this time because I am a pig man and I tend to eat half my plate before my brain says, "hey! Yelp review inbound!"

This Charming (yes, a capital C) place opened in downtown Waynesboro, Va as one of the first spots to help turn downtown around. With a miss-mash of antiques everywhere you turn, including old china for serving, you can't escape its eclectic creativeness. It has become a staple for brunch and lunch every day they are open. On a recent Thursday I found my self off from work so I met up with a friend for lunch. They were packed, luckily I knew to call ahead to make a reservation. Highly recommend! Although if you don't, they have a large communal table available too. The great thing about SBL is that everything is great. My favorite soup is the tomato basil bisque. I've had a variety of their salads and sandwiches as well and have never been disappointed. But on Thursdays I just learned, they have the grilled salmon BLT. I think my only real quibble would be the amount of cheese blanketing the chicken, but I might also be that rare bird that doesn't like a lot of cheese? Salad was good, but I think it would be improved by using mixed greens instead of iceberg and fresh olives instead of canned.
