We stopped here for lunch in our travels and was so pleased to walk in the door and see a "kids corner" for my son to play after having been in the car all day. This is a brand new restaurant as I write this review, so they are still working out a few kinks. The one I hope they fix really soon is seasoning the dishes, especially salting the pasta water properly, because you just cannot add enough salt to already prepared pasta, and it isn't healthy to do that way, either. I had one of their pasta dishes and it was fixed perfectly al dente, which was a treat--but bland-bland-bland because of the water not being salted. The consistency of the pasta was excellent, done just right. I also had french onion soup, which was tasty. My husband had their BBQ salad but didn't care for the salad dressing & said he would choose something else next time. I should add that he is very difficult to please with salad dressings. We are going to give them some time to work on seasoning their food up to par, then return. The atmosphere is great, wi-fi is nice to have available for figuring out which movies to see or rent while we munch & chat. This place is huge! I stopped by for breakfast and I'm putting this on my list of places to stop by if I"m in the area. They even had a small children's area inside. I feel like the food meets the Panera Bread standard and the variety was more than I've seen compared to the other Panera Breads. It is extremely clean and big. Perfect for large gatherings. Even the couple sitting next to me didn't bother me because the tables are not right on top of each other like some Panera's I've been to. Service and personnel were fine, but upon locating a table I discovered ants on the tabletop. Also, there was no sugar for the drinks. I spoke to the manager and was told the facility had a health inspection about 2 weeks ago. I also was told they try to clean the tabletop frequently. This is the worst Panera bread that I have ever visited. After multiple bad visits, today's sealed the deal that we will never be back. My barbecue chicken flatbread barely had any chicken on it and one giant chunk of mozzarella cheese, not to mention onions and spinach that were not supposed to be on the sandwich. We just went through the drive through at this Panera on a road trip. We decided to hit the drive through since we didn't want to spend time standing in line inside. We ordered a slightly complicated order. We pulled up and literally had paid and had our order in about one and a half minutes. The restaurant was also super busy inside as it was lunch hour. They got or order 100% correct and also gave us substantial portions of baguette. The lady working the drive-through was also SUPER nice. I'm highly impressed with this Panera! Best I have been to! I was in line at 1020 but only one register open and we were several guests back. When Zi got in line to order my breakfast wrap I was told is was now 1032 and breakfast ended at 1030. We went in an hour before close on the way back home from Tennessee to Richmond. Sadly they were out of the Chicken Tortellini Alfredo, the manager refunded me back my purchase and apologized profusely. My friend enjoyed her food though and said it was good. The food was okay, but the service was horrible. The order line was ridiculously long and there was only one worker tending to one cash register. We saw other workers walking around and some who were apparently on break. When the order taker moved away from the cash register to get bread for a customer and another worker showed up--but just checked herself out and disappeared--I had enough. I spoke to the manager, Donita Hodges. Her response was just this side of rude. She made it clear that she didn't really care to hear from me at all, much less have to respond to criticism of the operations. She was not only off-putting, but she made little sense when she tried to tell me why they were so rude and inefficient--and the line just kept getting longer. Then I spied the assistant manager--eating! He was very happy. He clearly likes Panera's food. When I asked him why he wasn't out in the store, helping, his response was equal parts stupid and smirking. He then jumped up from the table--and disappeared. I had one last brief conversation with the manager when I went to pay. She basically blew me off. This is no way to run a Panera's. It's no way to run any kind of food operation. This place is the biggest Panera I've ever been to. Since it is a chain I won't go into what is typical of a Panera. It is unique that it has a drive thru. What brought it down for me was the portion of the sandwiches are below what Panera normally is known for. I got the chicken salad and there wasn't even salad on half of my bread. My husband's turkey avocado blt was also very scant in the ingredients besides lettuce and tomato. This place is convenient right off the interstate. read more

Horrible. I've given them so many chances and they screw up EVERY time. I've had no bacon on my sandwich, I've had missing utensils, I've been missing my side item, I've had them give me the wrong size of items, and every time I go there for a bagel, they're out. It's incredibly frustrating. They're A BAKERY! They should not be out of bakery items at noon! I work in restaurants and when we run out of something, WE MAKE MORE. My most previous visit, all of the above mentioned errors happened IN THE SAME VISIT. Unbelievable. I think I might as well give up at this point. I love coming to this Panera on my breaks at work! They always remember I get no ice in my drinks and I love the end piece of the baguette. A few employees have even apologized for not having any end pieces. The drive thru takes awhile most of the time (5+ mins,) but that's expected. This isn't McDonald's. Down grading to one star. This place is absolutely awful. I don't know why I continue to come back. Ordered two basic breakfast sandwiches, no sides or anything fancy. Have currently been waiting 25 minutes and still no sign of food. Also took 10 minutes to even take our order despite the 4 people standing up front, only one person was taking orders, very slowly. Every time I come here my total is different despite ordering literally the exact same thing every time. One time I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and sausage egg and cheese sandwich from the drive through, when I got home neither had egg on them. Called in to let them know and was hung up on by the manager before I could even tell them what happened. read more

Is the closest place to eat breakfast from my house...I stop there at least twice a week, every time we go there are new faces... I stop by this morning and wanted to buy the bagel pack ( to go)...the store Was once again short on the big cream cheese pack and they only had the small ones. The lady told that she is able to sell me the bagel but no the small individual cream cheese,because that is for customers That are dining in at panera, no taking it to go with the bagel pack. Request to speak with manager ( LESLI HESTON) told me exactly the same thing. While I'm not obsessed with everything on the menu (and that's true for all locations of this chain restaurant), you can't go wrong with their soups or bagels and flavored cream cheeses. Love, love, love the broccoli cheddar in particular and they have it daily. The drive-thru is also a nice touch, I have not seen this at Panera in other cities. Service was good when I've been there as well other than a mix up with my bagel order once. I'm not much on their sandwiches and salads though and some of their sweets and coffees are a bit bland. My family and I went through drive-thru last night and were told to pull ahead because they were waiting on mac and cheese to cook. Twenty minutes and four cars (passing us) later, I went in to see what the heck was taking so long. "We are still waiting on the mac and cheese". Needless to say, my husband went in and demanded a refund. Our food was finally given to us... cold. And, the mac and cheese tasted like it was out of a Kraft box. Been there twice. Love the place and the sandwiches BUT not the soup.....chicken noodle. It contained no more than 2 small pieces of chicken and about three or four pieces of noodle.....mostly colored water. And at over $5.00, it was not something I will try again. read more
