The Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt was a big disappointment in that it looked nothing like the pictures or Ads. In fact, the cheese and pepperoni were so scant that when I picked up my order it looked like a lone baguette sliced lengthwise. You couldn't see anything inside or hanging out of the sides as advertised. I peeled it open only to find a few pieces of pepperoni and some obliterated mozzarella. Not one to complain for fear of a worse result, I ate it and was pleasantly surprised. Thank goodness for Panera's great baguette with a slight smear of flavor on the inside. read more

Sometimes my wife and I are feeling lazy to cook and Panera has good breakfast options. We order on the app bc it's so easy and convenient. I consider them "fast" food because our order is usually done within 15 mins of ordering. Way better quality than most drive thru options. I really enjoy all their breakfast sandwich options and My wife likes their breakfast wraps. Not a big fan of their lunch or dinner options though. Don't place your orders online. A new algorithm makes you wait 45 minutes for your order even when the store is not busy. I bright this to the managers attention and she did nothing to get my order out sooner. This is. It the first time this has happened when ordering online. Much faster if you wait in line and order at the counter. I placed the order at 7:15 am. They did not receive my order until 7:53 am. This is the 3rd time in a row this has happened to me. My server was awesome she saw me waiting and after I told her what happened she gave me a free cup of coffee. All the manager did was explain the algorithm to me. read more

it has been years since I stepped inside a Panera location, but today I was extremely hungry and was craving a sandwich. The place was clean and the customer service was excellent. unfortunately I ended ordering a sandwich called the toasted frontega chicken sandwich. I was appalled by the presentation. For half a sandwich you think you would get some chicken, but I got two little pieces which tasted unfresh and the rest was smushed cheese and rotten avocado. The bread was soft in the middle and hard on the outer edges. I was so disgusted with the lack of protein and the price I paid I could barely continue with eating it. The tiny little tomatoes which were suppose to be part of the sandwich had horribly made everything just taste like it. I will never be going back to any Panera in any year to come. Overpriced, inedible food . People eating must be accustomed to rank food. Save your money and buy your own fresh ingredients because this isn't what your getting here. read more

Edit-12/12/18 They advertise panini sandwiches but have no Panini press to make them. So they just put the whole sandwich in an oven and dry out the already cooked meat. Edit - 1/5/23 Haven't been here in a year or so and today is my last visit as they really cheapened up the menu. Their turning point was when they got rid of the chicken Cesar sandwich a couple years ago. It's been no good since then. The signature take chicken sandwich is horrible. You might as well go to McDonald's. read more

I ordered a pepperoni baguette sandwich; the baguette itself was delicious. The filling-to-bread ratio was deficient. Along the entire length of the sandwich there were two pepperoni side-by-side, thinly brushed-on sauce on the bread, and an insignificant and virtually unperceivable "mix" of cheese. As you can see in one of the photos it just looked like a baguette cut in half. Unfortunately this was a pick-up order and not worth the time or hassle of driving back. I hope the $12+ sandwich I received was just made incorrectly, but am in no hurry to return to Panera. I am disappointed, as I've typically had good food here. read more

Usually they are good. Today we had the C- group working. I ordered the steak and white cheddar sandwich. I was informed they were out of onions and pickles. Mind you they are about 200 feet from Target. So, I go ahead and get the sandwich and it comes with nothing on it. Couldn't even bother to put lettuce or tomato on it. Sucked. Ordered the Citrus Asian Crunch salad. On the left is what they advertise it to look like. On the right is what I got. Paid for added mandarin orange slices, got 5 of them. They advertise crunch carrots, there's about 3 shreds of carrot. The chicken is tasteless and you get about 5 tiny pieces of what look like chicken....not sure what it is. Got a pecan braid. This used to be one of my faves. They've been slowly changing it. Horrible, tastes dry and no flavor. Nothing like they used to be. The picture on top is what is advertised and what they used to look like. New one is tiny and looks like they used pillsbury pie crust. A McDonalds pie might look better than this. They advertise wholesome, high quality food. They've turned into high priced fast food and with employees who are never friendly. On my list of, what used to be, decent restaurants pre-Covid who have raised prices and lowered quality and quantity ever since. Sorry Panera, not going back. I'm better off buying a bag salad and pre cooked chicken slices at the grocery store for far less $$$ read more

I love Panera Bread. I've never had any problems with this location. Everything is fresh and the staff is always nice!

Panera is the best place to eat, dine in or take out. They have the best food and customer service. Jeffery the store manager is amazing! This very last time We ordered a large order for take out, when we got home realized that we were short a sandwich, called store and Jeffery apologized for the missing item and offered to refund us or we can go back and he will make the order right and on top of that gave us free pastries to show his customer appreciation. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Ordered a to go order for 5 people. I ordered a cream of chicken and wild rice soup and a Greek salad. The soup was mushy like baby food. Horrible consistency. It was severely over cooked and had too much flour in it causing it to be super thick. I was just mush. The Greek salad was underwhelming. It didn't come with Greek dressing though best instead it came with something that tasted a bit like Greek salad dressing but was white and creamy looking. That's not Greek dressing. Overall the food is petty underwhelming. The food is a one star quality but at least they were polite on the phone. Since the food is better than eating a mcdonalds I decided to include another star. Wouldn't recommend. Won't be back for food. The pastries and bagels seem good, maybe I'll return if I happen to want a bagel. read more

I've been going here almost every week due to Covid and they usually do a good job but seriously Panera WHAT IS THIS!? this is supposed to be a grilled cheese but it's two burnt bread ends that didn't even stick together and they put a chunk of chicken on the top of the mac and cheese it's supposed to be shredded in. This is the SPOT on a Sunday in Visalia! I came here for a meeting, and this place is perfectly located right off the freeway on Mooney (isn't everything on Mooney). They have all the basics and a REALLY big patio with heaters! I sat in this Panera for 3 hours, and maybe, 4 people went out there?!?! Why aren't people eating outside??? This place was crazy busy (inside) on Sunday. But I guess that makes sense, you feel all warm and cozy after church, and then you want to accompany that feeling with a cup of and broccoli cheddar soup! read more

Amazing!!!! I can't believe this was my first time here. You walk in, very cute, very friendly employees. The menu was pretty simple so definitely asked questions for a little more information but so good! My boyfriend got the pick 2 chipotle chicken avocado melt and baked potato soup. I tried it both, so delicious! I got the turkey, avocado BLT. The turkey was moist, they put a ton of avocado which I LOVED, only thing, could have used a LITTLE bit of salt but overall GREAT! Got the pick 2 so I also got the broccoli cheddar soup. It was just as I hoped! We both also got the acai berry green tea! Yummy! I cannot wait to go back!! read more

Selected the pick two thinking it was a combo for approximately $6. The sandwich is equivalent to a 6 inch sub, the soup is kinda small. The food is good, but not worth $10, and if you add a small drink that's another $2.50. At $12 plus you can get allot better food across the street.
