I love Panera Bread! Their soups, salads, pastries, bread, everything! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Always great service and quiet enough for Bible study or to work on my laptop[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Giving this panera site in Visalia a big 5 star as the restaurant was excellent in cleanliness and very organized in front register and eating areas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was very helpful and friendly they are knowledgeable on their food items, deals and recommendations for food choices, today got the Acorn Squash soup that's in season at this time and the choice did not disappoint it's in season comfort food friendly, please if you get a chance I highly recommend this spot and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I ordered a BLT Chicken Avocado Sandwich. Everything was processed highly. You can taste the difference. Panera is supposed to be healthy. I don't eat mayo, and that was an accident that could've been fixed, but not the processing. The cashier that completed the refund was very kind, but the cashier that took the initial order was unprofessional.

    Mold inside egg

My food had something green and or moldy in the egg I got the breakfast sandwich and when I flipped over the sandwich that's when I saw the dark green color

Just my two cents and worth less than a dime.

It took 10 minutes for a plain bagel to even be brought up in the conversation. After those 10 minutes, they all exchanged puzzled looks, unsure of who could provide the bagel. But that wasn't the only issue; the coffee had run out, and you had to ask multiple times for a refill at the dispensary. Panera used to service, food quality, ambiance but the Visalia location has left not much to be desired. Lost another customer.

That's all I got out of carafe.

No regular coffee this AM, told staff and did not get much of a response. Waited 10 minutes and still no one came to refill carafes. Very disappointed.

All the works in one sexy picture.

I'll usually take half the sandwich home. Can't go wrong with any style. I didn't think I'd like the traditional banh mí with pâté but was pleasantly surprised! It was good! I wish the available sauces on the table were cleaned daily, they can be sticky with dried up sauce on the caps or the fish sauce spout clogged. Although, that one complaint, the food is consistent and delicious ... although, I have had more flavorful broth elsewhere, I still enjoy this restaurant. The Banh Mí sandwich bread is so light, crispy, and soaks up that broth beautifully! Service is quick. Restaurant is small with plenty of seating. They've got to work on cleanliness though & change cleaning rags daily, if not more often. Smelly rags & tables, & noticing servers not wash hands between cleaning and serving isn't good business. I hope this will get better. Maybe that day was a one off ... but I'm not so sure.

I highly recommend this sandwich. I called my order in and it was conveniently ready when I arrived. The restaurant offers on-line ordering as well. Small local business, so please support LOCAL! Their food was exceptional. The shrimp spring rolls were light but filling and they provide both a peanut sauce (actually can taste the peanut in the sauce (I think they may use peanut butter) and a traditional vinegar fish sauce dip. The wife ordered the vermicelli with sliced pork. It looks like a deconstructed version of a spring roll = soooo good and I got the dry noodle with garlicy fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly fried and crispy while the noodles were lightly seasoned and cooked in a sweet fish sauce. DONT OVER LOOK THIS PLACE! ITS A MUST TRY!!! BTW: the owners are super sweet too! There was an elderly gentleman who was down on his luck, who came inside. He asked two young girls who were dining for money just for drink (100 degree day). The young cashier didn't miss a beat and treated the man with kindness gave him the drink he ordered plus made him a large to-go water and then asked if he had eaten today. He said, "no". Then a short conversation started from the back and the owners fed the man. Me and my wife called the cashier over and told her we'll pay for his food but the owner kindly declined. Before we left we had a nice conversation with the owner and hopefully next time in town my wife can do some return business with a catering order. AGAIN you would rarely see this happen at a chain restaurant so this is why we try support small local businesses...and how we become loyal customers!!!

I ordered the French Dip, which should be a slam dunk for a pub-style spot, but it lacked the basic execution that makes that sandwich great. The Main Event: French Dip * The Bread: This was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't toasted, grilled, or even brushed with a little butter. It felt like an afterthought, leaving the texture of the sandwich completely uninspired. * The Meat: The tri-tip was sliced thin and seemed okay, though it had that "pre-cooked this morning" vibe rather than being fresh off the block. * The Au Jus: A French Dip lives and dies by the dip. Unfortunately, this was essentially bland beef broth--watery and lacking any deep, salty, or beefy complexity. The Silver Lining The meal wasn't a total wash, thanks to the sides. The fries arrived piping hot, crispy, and seasoned well. Paired with a side of their ranch, they were easily the best part of the plate. Final Verdict: If you're going for the atmosphere and a cold beer, it's a win. But if you're craving a high-quality sandwich, you might want to look elsewhere until they step up their bread game.
