Kiosk optional ordering as soon as you enter through the main entrance or if you decide to order from an actual human there's someone there at the counter. Service was fast and friendly. Had brunch with my girlfriend and best friend after Kean University tour. Everything was tasty and the salad was fresh. We all enjoyed our food and left full. I had to pack my sandwich to go lol. I pointed out to the staff that the dark roast needed to be refilled and the half and half milk and they kindly refilled it. Will definitely come here again. I have to agree with other reviews. My experience at this Panera was pretty lackluster. I ordered a half cesar salad and broccoli cheddar soup with a baguette. The cesar salad came topped with chicken (not what I ordered) and the croutons were incredibly hard. After biting into one I felt like I nearly could have chipped a tooth. The baguette that came with my soup was also hard and stale -- super disappointing. My iced coffee was also a let down. It was super watered down with way too much milk and tasted like anything but coffee. I swung by the bathroom on the way out and it was also unkempt with no toilet paper. The redeeming quality here is the interior -- you can tell that the space is newly redone, and it's certainly one of the most modern Paneras that I have seen. The location is nice but the food is pretty standard. I've never sat down to eat, I've only done take out. I wish they were consistent with the orders. One time they gave me bread instead of an apple. I noticed this before I left and spoke to staff. They gave me the apple, no big deal. The last time I was there I wasn't given a pickle with my sandwich but it was too late I was already home when I noticed. It's the little things that they need to be more mindful and aware of. If you're willing to wait for your food longer than a sit down then you've come to the right place. Don't let looks deceive you, it's very nice inside but a logistical nightmare. It took about 30 mins to get an order that should've been done in 5-7 mins MAX. Couldn't even justify that they were busy because they were not and you had people waiting for smoothies for 15 mins or more. I'm not sure if it's the lack of training of the staff but I've seen icebergs that move faster. After you get your food you can't even enjoy it because of how long you had to wait for it. First time here since it just opened up this week. Like the look of it , the style feels like you could be at home . The food was good had a summer strawberry salad with 1/2 of turkey sandwich. This place is incredibly slow. The ordering app will say an order will take 5 to 10 minutes and then you're waiting for 40. I couldn't tell you how many times I've paid for extras on my salad only to to have them missing or them not add the extra I paid for. Be sure to check your bag before you pull off!! read more

My aunt placed a mobile order while I was at the chipotle in the same parking lot, when I got home there was a missing smoothie and there was a sandwich. I've frequented this location several times and had pleasurable experiences. Unfortunately, at my previous visit there were a few items from my order that were made wrong and were not fresh. I reached out to the manager and he promised to comp my next order. I forgot about the comp and decided to place another order today that totaled $75. However, once I made it home to my family for dinner, I checked my order only to find that 5 items were missing, I received the wrong item, and another item wasn't complete as ordered. I find this to be a pattern and clearly a quality control issue. I hope whoever is in leadership will identify the disconnect and correct it. read more

Just leaving this location after waiting for my to-go order. One of the staff, female w/brownish hair/black hoodie is standing there in plain site no gloves, scratches her head, then her face and neck, I'm looking at as she's doing this and the look she's giving me "what are you looking at!" The young lady giving out the order is in front of the station and I asked her what was the young lady's role and told her what I witness. She said she was a barista, she just preparing drinks.
