Needs at least a few gluten free options. They try to be wholesome and fresh but most drinks are loaded with either caffeine or sugar. Thank for at least having Bubbly and the pomegranate tea options! Love the sip club. Need to clean tables more often. Management/staff does a good job of turning orders out fast. read more

This Panera was dirty and the counter service was extremely slow. We changed tables 2 times due to unclean table tops and ended up having to wipe down the tables ourselves. The salads we ordered had brown wilted lettuce in them. Very disappointing. read more

I stopped in to grab a quick dinner with a friend last night after watching the Frozen musical at Bishop Kelley (The musical was amazing) The time was 8:35 when we arrived, and we were well aware that they closed at 9:00 and were planning on being gone and out of their way by then. I always try to be considerate in this way. We stood at the register waiting on someone to take out order for 10 minutes. The employees walked past us avoiding eye contact and continuing tasks like sweeping the floors and gathering trash and never acknowledged we were even there, until we stopped one and asked if we could order. They replied in an annoyed tone that they would see if they could find the person working the register. By this time it was after 8:45. We waited about 5 more minutes and watched employees peek around the corner to see if we were still there three different times... and then we left. I will never be back. read more

It's tough to know what star to give this particular location. It's a large store but not a very cozy one. It always seems a little messy. Some employees are quiet but have also met really helpful ones. It's a convenient one for us to grab a drink from when passing through so probably won't stop going. read more

I went to this Panera Bread with my step sister to get something to eat before attending a birthday party with her. Our experience reminded me why Panera is a consistent location for something quick to eat, while still getting a sit-down dining experience. I got the Cinnamon Crunch Bagel and, while the cashier couldn't quickly submit my peculiar request for chicken on the bagel, I was happy with the alternative of honey walnut cream cheese for a topping. And the bagel was very good. My step sister got a grilled cheese sandwich and some chips, and she gave most of it to me lol. She can be particular about her food, though, and I will admit the sandwich didn't have the aesthetic grill marks I think usually indicate a good grilled cheese. Overall, though, the food was good, and the service was limited but facilitated a postive environment for my step sister and I to sit and talk without excessive interruption. read more

Panera is always a solid place to grab a casual bite. The service is quick and accurate, the service is friendly, and the environment is chill and cozy. It's a great place to study or get work done. It gives a decent amount of that coffee shop feel without seeming too crowded or too small. I just think it's easy to be able to not only spread out within your own space but also spacious so your space is bigger in the first place. This location in particular is one of my top Panera choices. It seems like there are usually less people at this one than at some other locations, which can be nice sometimes. Then of course they have solid food. The mac and cheese at Panera is especially good!!! And, they've probably had this for a long time (it's been a while since I'd been to a Panera) but they even have a few different kinds now! I also love the tomato soup, and getting it in a bread bowl makes it that much better!!! I always end up getting the "you pick two" because it's just a really good deal. You can choose two of your choice of a half sandwich, half salad, or half soup! I believe the mac and cheese can also be included in the "you pick two" deal, but don't quote me on that (and it might be a little extra?). Came at dinner time. Rarely talking cashier seemed to not like her job. I was given a slightly chipped coffee mug. I then asked for a coffee mug without a chip. The cashier said there were no more mugs. The manager later said that wasn't true and brought me a coffee mug without a chip. Panera is a great place for a quick and enjoyable feel good meal. I've never felt guilty about enjoying a soup or sandwich here. Of course this is a chain and I've been to and enjoyed many and this location is amongst those. Consistently yummy food and treats paired with excellent service and a clean environment means good things to me. The location is between the interstate and a shopping mall so it's often busy but it's on a corner with a protected left turn which certainly helps getting in and out. Stop in and enjoy a meal or a snack. You won't regret it. read more

I did an online order around 1:45 today. My card was charge immediately. 5 minutes before my pick up time the store called me and said they were out of an item. I asked if something else could be substituted, not familiar with the prices - I picked a different loaf of bread. Turns out the loaf I paid for was more expensive than the one I chose, meaning I paid too much. Jessica (the assistant trainer) came over to see if my order was correct. I mentioned the price difference and asked when the orders from online actually came into the store (she said 10 minutes before the requested pick up time). I told her I wasn't super concerned about the price difference, I was just curious. She said she wanted to "make it right" and gave me 3 free bagels. Can't believe I haven't spoken up about this eatery. Who doesn't love Panera? I end up at this location before Sunday movies. 10:00 ish. It's always busy, busy, busy and getting busier toward 11:00. Enjoy getting a drink (black tea -- yum) and finding a table whilst food is prepared. Most recently enjoyed a hot artichoke quiche. Emphasis on hot. Impressively so. Their commercial for the breakfast sandwich on Brioche with the oozing runny egg got to me. I won't, however, order that again. It wasn't runny and just didn't match the ads. The staff is always friendly & it's sparkling upon arrival. The only area I feel needs improvement is the ordering lines -- one is pick up for call ins. But *it is* confusing. Yeah... This is a pretty standard Panera, but I like this location because it is in a central area. I have always had sweet faces greeting me and reminding me of the 99cent treat with my purchase of entree and beverage. The food is fine. I actually liked the new chicken sandwich. The staff is a joke. Completely unknowledgeable and have poor attitudes. Went in for lunch today and half of our order came out wrong. When we mentioned it to the young girl who dropped off the food she mumbled "I'll have them remake it.." and walked off. Moments later she came back with the food ticket and said, "the ticket says you ordered what I delivered, I can give you a refund." We didn't want a refund we wanted our food corrected. Rather than arguing with her I went to the counter and ordered the meal correctly... 10 minutes later it finally came out. I will do everything I can to avoid this location and Panera in general. I haven't been happy with them for quite a while but this was the final straw. read more

Okay, I am in all honesty rating Panera's Rapid Pick Up ordering system. This brain child is not yet spoiled by the ill will of our society. It is completely based on the honor system. Yikes! The deal is you order online or on your phone and pay with your card. Your order is filled and will be waiting for you at the entrance of the store. You don't have to wait in any line or check out with anyone. Fabulous. I placed my order from my phone at the stop light. Don't judge, I have until November before it is illegal. I parked my car, glanced at the line of 8 cars waiting in the drive thru and had pity on them because I just opened the door, grabbed my bag and was out before the SUV in line had even advanced one bit. I yelled, "See yah suckas!" Truthfully, I didn't. But I should have because I won. TIP-sign up for the my rewards card by entering your email. They give you TONs of monthly freebies. This is not a great Panera location, I go to Panera all the time in almost every town I'm in but the staff didn't seem familiar with what they offer enough to be able to answer even simple questions. When I get coffee drinks in the morning I try and go with soy milk or almond milk and sugar free flavoring options. The two girls running the cash register had no idea if they had EITHER of those things in stock. They had to go back and ask a woman who I am pretty sure was their manager just to find out. It then took FOREVER for the girl to figure out how to ring it up, meanwhile I'm waiting and trying to get in and out of here quickly so I can get to my office on time. Once they figure out how to ring up my relatively uncomplicated latte I ask for their steel cut oatmeal, the girl stares at me dumbfounded as I read DIRECTLY off the menu. "What was that?" ... "Steel cut oatmeal". "Oh, you want OATMEAL?" She acted like she was correcting me when it says steel cut oatmeal on the menu board right behind her. Ugh. Finally I pay and wait, and wait, and wait for them to figure out how to make my latte and to finally make my oatmeal. The latte ended up being pretty good (seeing as how it took 3 people to make it, it should have been) and the oatmeal was tasty but I got a little over an inch of oatmeal in my cup and then a ton of nuts and over an inch of fresh strawberries. I wish I had got more oatmeal since that's what fills me up. Oh well, they cater VERY well for the office here but clearly don't have the same level of competence in store. When they cater I highly recommend their spinach quiche and their yogurt/granola/fresh strawberries. read more

They were out of baguettes but the evening manager-I think his name started with a K, thin, dark hair, purple shirt-met me at the pick-up counter to let me know he could refund or offer me a different loaf. Came here knowing they did sweet stuff but didn't know they did sandwiches and soups...Have always eaten their cinnamon crunch bagels (which are amazing) but never any sandwiches or anything until now...Didn't care too much for their sandwiches because there was nothing different from what i make at home, but i did like their broccoli cheese soup. The cashier wasn't nice at all, after she asked if we were ready my fiance told her were new so were trying to figure out the menu she said "oh ok" and didn't offer to help us or give us any kind of knowledge at all...which usually if you see a couple or someone who is new and having a hard time being confused it would make you want to ask them if they have any questions or give them a little low down on how it works but NOPE not her she could of cared less so really i'm rating it 3 stars because the only good thing about panera other then their soup is all their sweets! read more

They have at least one vegan item labeled and listed on the menu one can order without making modifications or asking questions, the vegan lentil quinoa bowl. There are other items that are vegan, they just aren't labeled on the menu. I'm glad they have other options for vegans, it's just kind of a hassle to have to look up the item on the menu and read through the ingredients list. Again, I'm glad I can consult the menu and read through the ingredients, it's just kind of tedious. Also, some of the items I've might thing are vegan are not, many of the breads, bagels, & soups hide non vegan ingredients so, again, be sure & consult the menu online before ordering that black bean (vegan) soup in the bread bowl (not vegan). Compounding the annoyance factor of the lack of vegan labeling, I've not found the staff or managers to be knowledgeable at all about the ingredients used or vegan status of menu items. Also, don't go here for breakfast. Their vegan breakfast offerings are trash. read more

I'm a huge fan of their bread bowl and broccoli cheddar soup as well as their quiches. I love that they have Tabasco. 1) I ordered a "ham and cream cheese on everything bagel". 2) The person I was with said, "That sounds good, I will have the same." 3) The cashier rang it all up, and (that same cashier) delivered it to our table a few minutes later -- without ham. 4) When I asked about the missing ham, she said, "We don't have a ham and cream cheese bagel. I would have had to charge you extra for ham." I said, "Right. We want our ham." 5) After talking with another employee and three (3) managers, we were charged for ham. And while everyone agreed there should be four (4) slices of ham on a sandwich (and we were charged for eight (8) slices of ham, we only received four (4) slices of ham. Come on guys -- it is not that difficult. You screwed up my order. You should have comped the ham and just made it happen -- QUICKLY. Why does it take three (3) managers and two (2) employees to make this right?! You guys totally failed on this one. read more

Panera's Chocolate Duet cookies are one of my weaknesses. I can't resist making a side trip just to grab one of these cookies. Was not impressed by this Panera and I have been to quite a few. So, here are a couple reasons. They must of thought I was some weird YOUTHS person, being 30 years old. I ordered clearly but they kept asking me to repeat myself. Maybe the person behind the counter just wasn't getting it or something. I have a theatre degree, I know how to annunciate and project. It wasn't just that they couldn't hear me, because they couldn't hear me they just turned to my wife and started talking with her, and then we had some weird in between going on...it was weird. The other sad thing was that my ceasar salad was not quite up to roman standards if you know what I mean. The croutons were stale...I thought that was pretty hard to do but evidently they were, I think they were left in the refrigerator too long or something, because my whole salad tasted like that. Its whatever, I choose not to complain because I was in more of a hurry than I wanted to be. The rest of my family had a lovely experience so, its not a total wash. read more

I love some Panera Bread! Well mainly their bagels and sweet treats. I decided to visit the recently remodeled one on 41st between Sheridan and Yale. Everything on the inside was updated and clean. The staff was kind as always. Unfortunately, they still have a little work to do to get back on their A game. The "bagel toaster" somehow burnt my bagel, they couldn't find the bananas and were unsure if they had blueberries for my strawberry & blueberry smoothie.
