First time at this location and I must say I enjoyed it. There is a lot of seating, bathrooms are stylish and clean, staff is helpful. When I enter the building the line was long. It usually takes a while to order because so many people aren't used to the options they have. I knew What I wanted and headed over to the kiosk. I customized my whole meal in just a couple minutes, grabbed my drink and 5- 7 minutes later I had someone being bring my food. I'll be back to this location for sure read more

My boyfriend and I recently ate at this Panera and I felt obligated to come and give a positive review to try and outweigh all the negativity. Our experience was literally the exact opposite of what many people are saying. We used the drive through and it took a total of about 8 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. Keeping in mind that this isn't like a Mc Donald's where the food is already prepared and waiting to be thrown in a bag, someone actually has to prepare your sandwich/salad AFTER you order it, I felt as though the wait was more than reasonable. Our food was exactly as to be expected from Panera. We were satisfied and will be back. I'm so happy to see a more healthy food option open up in this middle-of-nowhere town and I hope the misrepresentation that 2 1/2 stars gives this place, does not deter people from patronizing this location. I would hate to see it lose business and close down. We need more places like this around here. read more

Went through the drive-thru for my first visit. There were about 5 cars ahead of me and the total wait time was probably 10-15 minutes. I didn't see the Sierra Turkey sandwich on the menu but I asked and they did still have it so I went with that and my usual broccoli cheddar soup. I also added a cinnamon crunch scone because they were out of the caramel scone. Everything was just as good as the last time I had Panera and it was super convenient that they have a drive thru. I do like to look at all the breads and pastries inside but don't always want to change out of my pajamas. The drive thru employee was very nice and professional. The food is mediocre not bad not great. Find the soups to be consistently good, sandwiches hit and miss.

So happy to finally have a healthy options for fresh salads,,,,,, But when they dont have the ingredents to make the salad why open. So no salads and no breakfast after 11 am its the weekend people. Yay, finally a Panera in town, this community has been waiting so long. went in to check it out, very clean, greeted right away, smelled so good inside. Friendly staff, waited a bit, but let's be honest folks, it takes a few weeks to work out the kinks of a new restaurant/business. Food was good, maybe a bit overpriced, and the order was not correct. That's not what bothered me most though. What actually bothered me more than that was the fact that this location is handing out delivery coupons but doesn't really deliver anywhere in Tracy that we tried. We tried locations near and far from the restaurant throughout Tracy. When I went inside to ask the employees about this I was told there is nothing they can do about it because they use a third party for delivery. All I'm saying is if you don't really deliver... stop handing out coupons saying that you do. Can never get my order right. I stopped going for a year and tried it again today thinking maybe they fixed their issue and come to find out i was wrong. Still can't get an order right. I place an order and they give me what they want. When i called to get things fixed i get no apology no explanation nothing. I just wanted my money back at this point so after talking to two people i got the refund. Luckily i didnt have to go in But it was only for what they missed. No discount or anything said to make me return as a customer. The manager only said we returned it for you and that was it. I love Panera and have eaten at multiple locations in the country. This is my hometown Panera. It is always hit or miss. Today while paying I put a tip on the bill as I always do. I did not expect to have to go up to the counter to pick up my food. I usually get it delivered to my table. So after I pick up my food and bus my table, the team will get my tip. The food was great. First time eating breakfast at Panera. I ordered the avocado, spinach egg white bagel. I changed to plain bagel with a regular egg (no price change). This place sucks! I've given this place lots of chances. I go back after a few months and it's always something. The girl in the drive thru at the window with dark hair is rude and has an attitude problem! I wish I would've gotten her name but I didn't. Not going there again I would rather drive to Manteca or Livermore. We come here weekly for drive through breakfast and I do rapid pick-up frequently at this location. I love being able to order before I start my commute and just pick it up on my way home. This location is great. I have never had any issues with the drive through. The employees are friendly. I had one item missing from my rapid pick-up once, and the guy at the counter quickly found it, put it in the bag, and went through and double checked the entire order for good measure. I always have stellar service and no complaints on the food. Great service, great location. read more

So i go on my lunch break and i get a chipotle chicken avocado sandwhich togo. I look at there prices and i decided on getting the "whole" basically the more expensive one. So after tax i spent roughly 9 dollars. Im pretty hungry and i hadnt eaten breakfast and this is my only chance i get to eat until i get off work about 5-6 hours later. After waiting 15-20minutes (which is understandable is was lunch time) i get my order and look in the bag. I love Panera Bread, but the food and service at this location sucks, like most places in Tracy!!! The sandwiches are super skimpy on ingredients, mostly bread. The salads don't appear to be prepared fresh either. The lettuce is always wilted and the fruit is yucky, not fresh. The last broth bowl I ordered didn't even have enough broth to cover the ingredients. The only thing going for this location is the mac & cheese. I haven't tried the breakfast sandwiches, but bagels, bread, and pastries have been good. The interior layout is odd and dining area is small, so I usually do drive thru. We've been sitting in the drive thru for over half an hour, we get to the window and after being told to wait, we get told "so sorry, the drive thru is now closed." I am very disappointed in this Panera. Every time I bring my family here they are out of something. I have had this issue 5 times now. After tonight, I needed to do something. I ordered the Fuji apple salad and they were out of apples. Then after I pay, I find out that they are out of baguettes! That's the main reason we went there for dinner tonight. Last time,they ran out of the bread for grilled cheese, we had to get a replacement! Other time, no Chinese chicken sauce!!! These are staples that Panera should always have! New location with real growing pains. The food quality is good but be prepared to wait a LONG time to receive your order. A cup of soup and a piece of bread, 21 minutes, and the restaurant isn't even busy. Regional management should help new stores like this. read more

I was very excited for this to come to Tracy. I went there other day and ordered a half sandwich and soup. The soup was cold and the sandwich was smashed so bad the mayonnaise was coming out. The way it was wrapped was something a 2 year old would do. I never write reviews but this made me so upset that the meal was horrible and it was $14. First time at the Tracy Panera Bread. I read all the bad reviews, but went anyways considering all the bad reviews were basically about wait times, no one really takes into consideration that this place just opened. As I patiently waited in the drive thru, the employee that took our order was very friendly, knew the menu well, and gave recommendations that ended up being greatly appreciated. There was a little wait, approximately 15 minutes, I could see some impatient people complaining about that but then again, if you want fast service then go to fast food. Going to Panera Bread you know what you're going to get and it's above average food with a little higher price. Our food was exactly what we ordered and was worth the wait. If you want cheap and fast food go elsewhere, if you want quality food in a reasonable time, then Panera Bread is your place. They don't deserve this one lonely star. On our first visit to this newly opened restaurant in Tracy, California, we quickly placed our order and found seating. And we waited 30 minutes for our pick 2 lunches to arrive at our table. My husband ordered a 1/2 turkey sandwich and a bowl of turkey chili. What he got was a whole turkey panini and the turkey chili. Close enough. I ordered a 1/2 turkey with cranberry sandwich and asked that they use white bread, not the whole wheat flat bread (the person taking our orders got it right as our receipt stated). About 10 minutes after hubby's food was delivered (and as he was taking the last bite of his sandwich, a server appeared with my order and an apology, "so sorry this took so long. Here is your order. We were out of white bread and so we decided on wheat bread. Hope that is ok." Not only the wrong bread but the wrong sandwich as it wasn't the turkey with cranberry. Nope. Sent it back and waited. Next came A sourdough turkey, no cranberry. Sent that back. Finally they brought me a random vector turkey panini, slimy with spinach and turkey pieces full of warm unidentifiable dressing. Gross. Other patrons around our table were calling out to get a manager. We just left. Note: get a table before you order in this very tiny Panera's. read more

I have visited this location several times, I was very excited it was going to be close to home. Unfortunately every visit I have had has been unpleasant. They always get my order wrong messed up on small details that really irritate me and the customer service is very poor. You definitely do not feel welcomed employees always make you feel like you are one of their to-do list, ring up your order and constantly ask," anything else anything else?" making you feel like you need to rush through your order. Last time I was there i waited 15 minutes for my coffee. I got up walked to the window and it was just sitting there with my name on it. 2 ladies were standing there and when i asked for it they didnt know what to do so I grabbed it and walked off and it was already cold!!! I am giving you two stars because of your terrible customer service. Your restaurant was not busy when I came in, two ladies behind the counter which neither of them said hello or offer to help us. I walked over to the register to place my order and one of the ladies came over but still did not say anything to us. The cashier did not mention anything about buy a soda get a treat for .99 I had to bring it up. Then when I tried to give her my Panera card she rudely said you swipe it there. Your restaurant is priced about the same as a sit down restaurant and in Tracy your right next to Texas Roadhouse, I would have rather gone there for the same price or a little more. Tracy has been waiting for a Panera for quit some time, and now that we finally have one it's to bad that terrible customer service might prevent people from going to this restaurant. Ok so I had heard Panera Bread prides itself on the freshness of its food so my lady and I decide to give it a shot.. we walk in and first impression was wow this place is so clean and aestheticly pleasing and the cashier was verry friendly all was looking satisfactory until we finally got our meals then that happy feeling dropped...the two of us only got a couple of sandwiches and a soup with only one drink and it came out to over 30$ wow for that price I sure hope it tastes good, but the taste wasnt an issue as much as the portions was..there was next to nothing on our sandwiches. .and I mean only a couple small pieces of meat and the normal lettuce and whatnot...it was mostly bread..the soup looked terrible..mushy like it was made first then sat while they began to make our sandwiches. ..then came dessert..the "everything but the kitchen sink" cookie which was pretty good but it alone cost 4$ ...so I give this 3 stars due to the fact the place looked good.and the cashier was very pleasant but as far as the food goes wayyy too overpriced with such small portions.
