My wife and I have been to this Panera location multiple times. Obviously opinions are subjective but each time we leave (drive through or dine in) we're disappointed. Inside is outdated and really beginning to look rundown.The soda/tea machines are filthy and have layers of gunk covering them. The floors are always dirty and not swept regularly. In the last 4 outings our orders have been abysmal. 1st time they were out of bread ... BREAD 2nd time the orders were wrong 3rd time our order was to go, curbside pick up and they placed the item as inside pick up. (15 min wait) 4th time they were out of 2 soups at 7:30 pm. A few months ago, I walked in to get lunch with my 7 year old son. We stood there - no greeting for the first few minutes. Then we were told someone would be with us shortly. 20 minutes passed by -- each time someone passed they'd say they would be with us -- but to no avail. Many young workers standing around in back or doing side work instead -- So we left. (as did the people standing behind us for about half the time). Yesterday, I ordered a delivery (Door Dash) and when I unpacked the items -- my son's was missing. I called the store. They said they would send it out with a driver. An hour and 15 mins passed and I called just to get refund. Manager said that she could not refund through PayPal. They also attempted to blame door dash for not returning to the store -- but I made it clear that the order was PACKED wrong, not delivered wrong. My advice to Door Dash drivers/Uber Eats etc that do deliveries for this location --- check the order before you deliver it - if that's allowed. Last week I travelled to Upstate NY, we had Panera there one day and it was so good I was craving it when I returned home. This location is subpar on every level imaginable. There was food all over the floor that looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for days and the Cream of chicken and wild rice was basically a little wild rice in chicken soup, it was watery and greasy. The bread was stale and chewy. I was pretty disgusted by the whole experience. Go elsewhere if you're craving Panera. read more

I love Panera but this location is awful. They have never gotten my order correct. Tonight I ordered a half Thai Chicken salad and they put black beans and corn on it? Ordered a turkey blt and I guess they where out of bacon so instead they sprinkled bacon bites over the sandwich. I would of preferred to re-select. This is after waiting several minutes to even be greeted at the door. The young man that was suppose to be at the counter was too busy doing his side work to take my order. I've been a regular for several months but today was just upset at the service. On top of this they where out of Pepsi. I told the guy behind the counter that they needed to change the Pepsi and his reply was, yep we are out. Who runs out of Pepsi in the middle of a lunch rush. Falling off I'm afraid. read more

I had an excellent experience today! I went through the drive-through on the way home from a morning of work. I ordered two things, one for my mom and one for myself. My order was repeated back to me clearly and I had no trouble reading the screen or communicating with the waitress. Everything was packaged well and was the right temperature, even 20 minutes after getting it. I ordered the Pick 2 combo, which I would recommend to anyone - you can get half of anything on the menu with half of anything else on the menu, all for a reasonable price. The prices do change depending on the value of what you ordered. I got the Signature Mac and Cheese and the Ham and Swiss sandwich on rye bread. The sandwich itself was unremarkable, but the bread was very good. Everything is made well and without extra sugar, which is a huge plus. The Mac and Cheese was good! They've changed their recipe lately to reflect their new food "morals" if you will, but it still tastes yummy, especially with their homemade baguettes. I'm very pleased to see that Panera is still paying attention to the value of their food. I had a very good sized meal for less than ten dollars. I did not purchase a drink since I was heading home, but if I had the bill still would have been right around the ten dollar mark. Certainly a good deal for hearty and wholesome food! This restaurant was disgusting. The walls were dirty, the floors were dirty, and there were gnats flying around the lemonade dispensers. My daughters grilled cheese wasn't brought out with our order and I had to ask for it. When we finally received it, it was cold. When I wanted to get a to-go container for our leftovers, I had 5 people look at me and keep walking before someone acknowledged and asked what I needed. Between the dirtiness of the restaurant and the poor service, this will be our last time to go to Panera bread. read more

Passing through town & stopped here to eat. Got sandwich order wrong. Served us a burnt grilled cheese. No lids for cups. Dine in soup served with plastic spoons. Tables left with plates and food on them. It was not a busy time of day, there was plenty of down time for the employees to clear the tables. Put loss out, etc. disappointed on the experience. The chairs are filthy with wear & tear, the drink area is dirty all the time, our order is NEVER correct. The place needs an update/remodel to keep business in addition to well-trained staff. I am a frequent customer of Panera and as a business traveler have the opportunity to visit their stores in a number of locations. Over the past 4 years this location continues to decline in their service levels. Over the past year I have experienced cold oatmeal, burnt sandwiches, and wrong orders. In the case of the cold oatmeal I returned it to the kitchen only to receive it back so hot that I couldn't eat it for several minutes. This morning continued the decline. I placed an order for 18 bagels and requested them sliced. While other customers were waiting behind me the only person working the front of the store proceeded to slice my bagels. The person did not acknowledge the customers waiting or ask for help at the front. The customer behind me walked out. Another two customers began to complain and still the cashier did not acknowledge that the customers in line were left in limbo while she completed my order. When I arrived at the office and starting removing the bagels from the large paper bag they had been placed in and discovered the order was wrong. I checked my receipt to make sure the order had been entered correctly. It had been. Most of the issues I have had with this location are unique to this location and not to Panera overall. read more

Great place to grab lunch in Tomball. Why there are no reviews yet & hey have been open for a while, I have no idea. This is a chain, we know that, they serve over-price lettuce, we know that too. But if you want a consistent food, punctual tonight, good seating and only the occasional line to wait to order, this is your place. My go-to dish is the Chicken Avocado salad. I sub the dressing for balsamic & order the whole one. I've tried pinching and going for the cheaper smaller salad but it isn't filling & leaves me wanting more & I can't spend the afternoon at work wanting to eat paper to curb my appetite till supper. And for some reason, they put people behind the counter that are incapable of hearing/putting your order in correctly. On top of that, I ordered a breakfast sandwich (asking for the bread to be switched to a bagel) and he charged me for 2 different sandwiches! I wasn't given a receipt for this order. The only way I would have known about this unnecessary double charge is because they still messed the order up! After waiting another 15 minutes for the sandwich to be remade, I just asked for my refund. Only to see that my refund now included 2 sandwiches! To add to this amazing Panera experience, my husband was served a chicken sandwich that the chicken clearly looked uncooked.
