Sloppily made sandwich. I paid for mozzarella and it was a tiny sliver that barely covered 1/4 of the sandwich. On top of that the onion (pictured) was a huge piece of onion skin, so they didn't even bother to cut it properly and didn't noticed when they slapped a whole onion skin on my sandwich instead of the thin sliced onions like it normally is. I know I'm paying for an overpriced sandwich but they could've at least tried to make it proportionate or noticed the whole sheet of onion they where adding to it

    Charms found in salad dressing

I can't even give them 1 star it was so bad. I had either someone's necklace or bracelet charms in my salad dressing! I tried calling about 12 times throughout the day to tell them and no one ever answers! We got our food to go so didn't notice it until I was eating. We went inside to get our food to go and the place was filthy then what was in my salad dressing! I will never go there again!

I love Panera's! The wi-fi time limit, however, is a thorn in my side. Their strawberry smoothie is yummy:)

I made a brunch reservation here a few weekends ago for some girlfriends and I. Went on a Saturday…read moreand brunch is only on Sunday, womp womp. We pivoted and all had a lovely meal. Our server was so terrific. All the food was delicious. I'd been craving French onion soup and decided to give it a try and it was sofa king good. Perfection! I also had a delicious turkey club paired with a kiwi smash. The space is open with high ceilings and a long bar. It started filling up shortly after we were seated so would recommend a reservation. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Toledo!

This is kind of a hard review for me. I REALLY wanted to love this place, but a few things went…read morekind of wrong, and the ambiance, although really interesting, was off. The drinks were good, but again, a hitch. Service too... So, two of us ordered the French dip sandwich. They were just OK at best. Really no flavor, the roll was kind of wrong and the jus was tasteless. I asked (several times) for some horseradish, and I would guess it's still on its way to the table... 2 folks ordered the fried walleye, and one said it was REALLY good and the other said it was really over cooked. 1 person ordered the burger and said it was great. The last person ordered the salmon and did like it. The standout sides were the brussels sprouts and the fries. Both are very, very good. No comments about the other sides. The person across the way ordered the bruleed sweet potatoes and they looked amazing. The ambiance. What a cool place inside. A cool mix of furnishings with some kitsch factor. Not in a bad way from aesthetics, but in practicality, a big miss. When we were taken to our table, we were presented with a 1950's style dinette and chairs. Again, really kitschy, but not at all fun to sit in. The place has a cool mix of all kinds of stuff, but the noise was deafening. We tried to talk to one another, but it was really hard. Just too much background noise from all the people in a concrete, brick and steel room. Too bad. The drinks... So, I took a chance and ordered my martini. I explained how I wanted it mixed, etc. and the bartender did a superb job! Hats off to him for making a great martini! The big issue was one of our guests wanted a Bloody Mary. The waitress explained that they have great Bloody Mary's as they make their own mix. After the drinks were ordered, the waitress came back to the table to let us know they were out of Bloody Mary mix. Mind you, this is 6:00 on a Saturday. That shouldn't happen. The service... All of the drinks were ordered at the same time, and they came out in a staggered fashion over a period of 15 minutes. Same thing with our dinners. Interestingly, the hold up with the entrees was the 2nd French Dip. I would guess if the guy making the sandwiches saw 2 of the same thing on the same ticket, he'd make them both at the same time. That second sandwich took at least 15 minutes to get to the table. We're all being polite and waiting for his meal to deliver so we can all eat at the same time. Cold fish, anyone? And I'd still like to know where my horseradish went. Oh, parking in the lot to the left of the building is stupid expensive. Park in the garage across the street and save $20 bucks. All in all, our check came to about $100.00 for 3 of us. That's without the tip. My meal was a solid 2 to 3-star event but factoring in the others' opinions and negating the Bloody Mary incident and service, I'll give it 4 stars. Pretty sure I'll go back, but probably not too soon.

This was my second visit to The Standard, this time for an early Holiday meal. We had reservations…read morefor two and were promptly seated in a booth as requested. I hadn't realized before that there is a large room to the right of the bar area. We were there for a somewhat early dinner at 6pm on a Saturday and the place was bustling! Definitely make a reservation. (I used Open Table online two or three weeks in advance and it was very easy.) We were greeted shortly after being seated and our server advised us of the special entrees after taking our drink orders. We decided to split the roasted beet salad which also came with herbed goat cheese. Our server brought the salad on two plates- already divided. The salad was absolutely amazing!! I am seriously still craving it and the portion was so large that I couldn't even finish my half. Our server promptly boxed it up before our entrees were served. For the main course, I ordered one of the specials- scallops with rice sauteed with spinach. My friend had pork roast with carrots, which was a large portion - no complaints and she took home leftovers for another meal. I'll speak to my scallops... They were perfectly prepared, but there were only three scallops and a plentiful serving of rice and spinach. I love spinach and this side was very well seasoned. It didn't take long to eat the three scallops and the spinach pieces in the rice. I definitely enjoyed my meal, but wished for even one more scallop. Since my entree was a special that was verbally announced, I didn't know the price until I saw the bill. While it was delicious, I found the $41 charge a bit steep. The Standard is exceptional in almost every way- service was impeccable, amazing food, lovely ambiance- but be prepared for a pricey evening. My friend and I had a very enjoyable time and I definitely recommend this restaurant. I will say, however, that it can be difficult to talk because it is so busy. That said, it's popular for a reason! Check out the photos below for a virtual experience.

I personally like to see it on paper so I can view ingredients but Im going with the flow. The service is a stand out here. Started with garlic bread bites. Server indicated there is a light blue cheese drizzle that they actually drizzle at the table. Neither of us are big fans of blue cheese and made sure to tell her when she started. She said its very mild n not overpowering. It was not mild n it was overpowering. I love love bread n I only ate one square. French onion soup was good per the man. I wanted the chicken special but when I said Ididn't care for peppers the server said she didn't recommend it then. Not sure why peppers couldn't be removed? but I took her advice and chose shrimp instead. Shrimp n mashed potatoes for me. Lamb chops n some type of potatoes for him. It was fine. At the price point($200 for 2) I was expecting more than fine. They did bring him a bday dessert but as she stated they don't sing happy birthday. Ok then. Stashed the leftovers in the car and went next door for beers n bday shots. More my speed. I would come back if its someone else's choice

Was it worth $11.29 for a small smoked turkey breast sandwich and mac & cheese meal? Honestly…read more.. no. I originally stopped in thinking this might be more of a coffee shop so I could grab a snack and coffee while pumping gas--kill two birds with one stone. From the outside--and even inside--it's aesthetically appealing and looks like a great spot. But the experience didn't quite match that first impression. The food itself didn't hit the mark in the taste factor--nothing terrible, just not memorable or worth the price in my opinion. That said, I'm open to trying other menu items because maybe I just didn't order the right thing. Customer service was pretty average--nothing to complain about, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, it didn't hit the mark this time, but I'd consider giving it another shot.

Been here recently/last year three times, which has a refreshed look compared to the past. They have a variety of options with hot deli style sandwiches as a base, but have soups/salads as well as calzones, pizza, and flatbreads. If you have a sweet tooth, Cinnabon products are available as well as cookies and brownies. Breakfast is also available with breakfast sandwiches, burritos and tacos. The food quality is pretty good and a nice option to standards like McDonald's and Arbys etc. Cost seems higher for what it is, but to be fair in the past year (2025-2026) prices seem to be soaring due to tariffs and other economic issues. Food quality is not bad, but not a stand out either. Soups seem to be one of the better options. Service seems so so for friendliness as well as speed. The environment is OK, again not a standout. New look but has an "Empty Sterile" nervous vibe. Overall, OK especially if you need a break from the standard fast food chains noting the prices for McDonald's and others has skyrocketed and service and over all experience has been on the decline, putting Schlotzskys well positioned for fast food. Managing my bias here as I almost never eat fast food unless there is a need such as short on time or thats all thats available. Go ahead, worth a try if you are in the market for fast food and tired of the typical places.

Then the food hits, and you realize: oh, this is a destination. The space is tiny--tiny. Every time the front door swings open, a blast of outside air rushes in like it's trying to join the waitlist. Seating is scarce, but the whole system works: packed room, fast service, no panic. A strange harmony. Everything feels made with intention. Drinks were built one ingredient at a time, syrups clearly homemade. My black garlic ramen was absurdly good: deep, rich broth, perfect pork chashu that I'd happily eat by the pound, fried garlic that hit just right. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken? Unreal. A whole meal disguised as an appetizer. My wife doesn't like dark meat--fantastic news for me. I inhaled the entire plate like it was my birthright. Service was warm, calm, human--no chaos, no weirdness, just a kitchen pushing out nonstop greatness. We'll be back, no question. For my taste buds, this is some of the best ramen in Northwest Ohio.
