3.5, but not enough to sway me to a 4. So it's been over a year since I last tried this Panera Bread location. The commercials on TV make it look amazing and I had to see whether the quality had been upgraded. It was dinner time and I used the drive-thru so can't comment on ambiance in the dining room. Their drive-thru, however, brings you straight to the Stevens Garbage Disposal area, so it would be great to change that eyesore. It's a little confusing to find the drive-thru lane, which I recall from last time. Nevertheless, I checked out their menu and noted that they had several specials going on - some only for breakfast before 10:30am. Anyway, I ordered the Asiago Chicken Bagel Sandwich for myself and ordered the Fuji Apple Salad for my mom. The person at the drive-through window was pleasant and I was soon on my way. I liked that they made a point of including napkins- a thing that a lot of restaurants don't bother with these days. Upon arriving home, I couldn't help but compare my sandwich to the one advertised on the drive-thru marquee and it wasn't even close to the professional pic (perhaps AI enhanced?). Anyway, I posted them both below so you can decide. I will say that it was dripping with dressing but faulted myself for not asking for dressing on the side. Anyway, my sandwich was pretty good,-not as hard bread-wise than you might expect from a bagel. Was actually soft and fluffy. The tomatoes weren't the best - there were two very small slices. Nice to have arugula though too slathered with the salad dressing and not evenly distributed throughout the sandwich. The sandwich wasn't totally filled with chicken but was enough for a dinner portion (for me). My mom's Fuji Apple Salad with Chicken looked good and fresh, although it went into the fridge for another day. I will note that I didn't order any of the "Mix and Match" or other specials because it was for dinner. They do look intriguing and I would consider trying them out. I will say, however, that I believe the "half portions" might be unsatisfying, but maybe okay for lunch with a half sandwich. Based on my experience, I think the "2" rating overall on Yelp is a bit harsh. The food is at least fresh here and I would recommend checking it out! I have posted pictures below... Sloppily made sandwich. I paid for mozzarella and it was a tiny sliver that barely covered 1/4 of the sandwich. On top of that the onion (pictured) was a huge piece of onion skin, so they didn't even bother to cut it properly and didn't noticed when they slapped a whole onion skin on my sandwich instead of the thin sliced onions like it normally is. I know I'm paying for an overpriced sandwich but they could've at least tried to make it proportionate or noticed the whole sheet of onion they where adding to it read more

Worst Panera ever!!! Ihave eaten at many Panera bread locations. This one by Franklin park mall in Toledo is the worst location I have ever stopped at. The soup was served cold and tasted like fish soup when I told the clerk she seemed annoyed and put it in a microwave for a minute and told me it's hot now. Then the restrooms were absolutely filthy. Hmmmm - so the last 3 times I have been in here there have been issues. Beginning of summerish I went through the drive thru and they couldn't process gift cards for some reason. A month ago stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the corner and tried to order on the app. 3 diff items were unavailable due to lacking the ingredients to make them so I left. Tonight wow! I stepped up to the nice cashier. I said, what are you out of tonight... he looks surprised. Then proceeded to order. French onion soup ( he said out of croutons) no biggie we do not need croutons. Ordered ham baguette (he said we are out of country mustard) ok what other mustard do you have( spicy he said) ok I will have that. Ordered a lemon cookie and cc cookie. Had a bday freebie. It did not come off so manager gave us a couple bagels . In the meantime my lemon cookie I purchase disappeared out of the cabinet. when we got our food, they told us there was no baguettes for the soup so they gave us chips. Again, no biggie. But you remember when I said that he said there were no croutons. There were croutons on the soup and they were not out of country mustard. They were out of spicy mustard. Such a nice young man at the register but don't believe him when he tells you they're out of something because they're out of something else not the thing he tells you that they're out of. my guess is he was new I don't know. Manager was also nice. Spent almost $40 that was with 2 half off cookies. I could've gone to somewhere nice and sit down style. For 40 bucks at a place like Panera I expect a whole better experience.Also looking around the restaurant. The carpet was very dirty food everywhere. A few weeks ago, we ordered delivery during a busy day at work. 25-35 minutes for delivery. 2.5 hours later, we tried calling and could not get ahold of anyone. Finally, 30 minutes later, we got ahold of the manager and shortly after the order changed to "out for delivery." The person we spoke with never offered any refund or money off. 40 minutes later, the order finally arrives. Our location is about 11 mins from the store. Today, I decide to give them another chance. Again it is 25-35 mins for delivery. I was called by a team member about 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be delivered stating it was currently on its way, I was not being charged, but it would still be 20-25 mins. No problem. I thanked them for keeping me updated. An hour and a half later, I still haven't received my order. I tried calling the store to see if it is actually coming but no one answers. I've currently been on hold with the 855- Panera number and have yet to speak to someone. Just to try and find out if my order is actually coming or not. I've always been a sucker for the bakery goods and tasteful soups of Panera. While on a drive I decided to stop by this Panera on my way back from class to get a quick bite to eat. After ordering a sandwich and soup from the online kiosk I waited a table for my order. Waited for about 10 minutes and my food was done. Very quick service for a busy place around noon. Food was well made as per usual but the dining environment was not. There were plenty of tables with food crumbs on them and paper trash scattered across the ground. My first time dining in yesterday: I wasn't impressed. The dining area was dirty, people's trash was on the floor, benches had crumbs all in the creases, and I never saw anyone cleaning. This location has been going down the tubes since they remodeled last Fall. Went in at 11am today and ordered a coffee and paid for it. Went to the coffee table and NO Light Blend, NO Dark Blend, NO Hazelnut, just Hot water and Decaf. Told clerk there is no coffee, she said, I will tell someone. People sitting around watching for fresh coffee to come out and 15 minutes later still no coffee. It took us 50 minutes to get our food. My mom got the turkey Avocado BLT. And a side of Mac and cheese, I got the new chipotle chicken and bacon flatbread with a Mac and cheese side. 50 minutes! I love Panera bread and the fact they promote clean eating. Its not always lowest in calories, but its fresh and wholesome which I can appreciate. When I travel I tend to frequent Panera. I love their rapid pick up option. It is so convenient. You order and pay in advance and simply pick up your food from the rapid pick up area. The only reason that they didnt score four stars is because they have gotten my order wrong 3 times. Once they gave me egg whites instead of turkey sausage eggwhite, then eggs instead of eggwhite, then once they omitted my tomatoes. A little more attention to detail could rectify this. read more

I thought I might give this place a try as it was close to the theater I was heading to at Franklin Park. I got the mediterraean half sandwich with Garden Vegetable and pesto soup. Keep an eye out for seasonal specials. If you use the drive thru, double check your order before you leave. I love the drive thru and how fast they get your food ready for you. Granted it's just soup, salad, and sandwiches, but customer service is impeccable here. They would also add the right amount of milk to your coffee for you if you ask them! There are many times that me and my friends arrive early in the morning and their showcase is almost cleaned out of everything by glutinous customers who act like their feeding armies. I called and asked if they changed their policy and I need to request dressing, mgr. kinda chuckled and said no they should have added it. No apology, no stop back and we will make it right .
