My first (and very last) meal at Panera Bread was 2/26/20 and talk about a disappointment and one of the worst meals/service I have ever had. Walked in with no one to greet you and give you options/directions. There were self ordering kiosks that few knew how to use and no one to assist; no menu hard copy to review prior to reaching the order counter; the wall menu was overwhelming and small lettering; the dining area was messy and tables not cleaned. There were five of us and only two of us received our correct order; a server delivered two salads that weren't ours; one sandwich plate was made on the wrong bread and the tuna filling was so mushy and drippy she couldn't eat it; one didn't even get her meal and by the time she got it the rest of us were done eating; the other one had ordered bread and soup and the soup was cold. My turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich had one tiny piece of unflavored turkey and one slice of bacon and totally tasteless. Don't go there, don't waste your money, nor your time, as it truly is a total mess.. That Panera Bread restaurant should be shut down. read more

I ordered the Fuji Apple salad, wish I had looked at the picture (someone else ordered for me and picked up order) as it had freeze dried thin apple slices (you know, the kind you pack in your toddlers backpack). First of all, we paid $38 for 2 drinks, a sandwich and 2 potato soups. I guess I wouldn't really care too much if the food was good. Take that back my spouse's sandwich was good but the soup was awful. Not only was it awful...it made me sick to my stomach less than 45 minutes after I ate it. I called not really to complain but to make them aware. The manager said that food can only make you sick 4-6 hours later so it had to be something else. I told him I did not eat anything else (15 hour fast) and that Staph infections can make you sick 30 minutes later and he said thank you lol. This place is a joke. read more

I rarely write negative reviews but my recent experience with this Panera warrants less than one star. Last week I ordered a baker's dozen of everything bagels for Rapid Pickup at 10:30. When I got there, my order was not available and I was told that they had run out of those bagels but if I placed my order a day or two before, they would be sure to order them. I was disturbed that they hadn't texted or called me to tell me but I let it go and ordered a day earlier this week. Got there at 9 this morning only to be told that they had, again, given my bagels away. No call, no text. This manager claims that they only see the Rapid Pickup orders 15 minutes before they are to be picked up. Makes zero sense to me. Why bother ordering in advance if they don't see it? Stupidest system ever. Corporate's apology was refunding my money. ..for food I didn't get. Done with Panera. read more

Tonight was simply another fiasco as the counter people just don't listen. We ordered simple meals such as whole tuna on whole grain bread and cup of chicken noodle soup. The soup was cold and the tuna was on whole grain bread AND the girl asked if I wanted whole or half bagel duh! We told the server that meal was wrong and proceeded to explain that the evening staff is horrendous behind the counter. The manager came over and said I understand you want a refund which we never said. He eventually straightened out the meal and of course offered us cookies which we get nearly every time we eat there because of mistakes. read more

I haven't been to one of these Pan Bread places in a while because of bad experiences with the produce served but, a friend drove and I was kind of stuck eating there. Decided to get one of their bowls. Pico bowl or something like that. I don't remember. Everything was fine. Not fantastic. Not bad. Just fine. I gave it 5 stars since rating it less wouldn't have been fair and wanted to acknowledge the fact that it was edible, unlike food that I've gotten in the past. read more

The food is good at this location when you can actually get it. 9/10 if I try to order something they are out of the bread, Turkey, chicken, or an other key ingredient. I recently tried curbside pick up, I was notified my food was ready at 5:55 and had to call inside to prompt someone to bring it out after waiting 20 min. Today I did a delivery order and they gave me the wrong muffin. When I tried to contact the store to resolve this problem no one answered the phone. I choose the place an order and talk to the manager prompts with the same result. I know what you are thinking they must have been busy right. The prompt says between 11-1 and 4-6 are their busy times this was at 2:30 on a Thursday. I'm not sure why I keep going back, maybe because I hope it will get better, but their service just continues to get worse. read more

Went in yesterday for the first time since this location transitioned from the Paradise Bakery name to Panera Bread. The first thing I found out was that my Paradise Bakery rewards card was no longer valid. The remodeled space is lighter and brighter, but that's about the only good thing. I counted at least 7 employees bustling around behind the counter (with many more in the kitchen), but only ONE person was actually taking orders and payments from the customers. She was very slow--even though it was 2:30pm and the lunch rush was over. With only 1 customer ahead of me, it took 5 FULL minutes for her to take that person's order and payment and over 3 MORE minutes to take my order and money, even though I knew exactly what I wanted--and then another 4 full minutes waiting for pickup (they have a bench now, so wait times MUST be longer). I was glad to see that they still have the chicken-walnut salad on molasses bread--but it is not nearly as good as it used to be because: ** There is now a much smaller portion of chicken salad on the full sandwich for the same price of nearly $7.50. ** No more free cookie (you have to include a drink with your sandwich order & then you get to BUY a cookie for ONLY 99 cents more. ** My to-go order had a pickle spear (which I didn't order and do not like) wrapped up with the sandwich, with a lot of pickle juice getting absorbed by the bread, plus a 1-ounce bag of chips (that I also didn't order and do not like), which I tossed into the garbage can when I got home. Ordering a sandwich from Paradise Bakery and getting the free chocolate chip cookie used to be an occasional mid-day treat--not any more! read more

You wouldn't think of going to a bakery for lunch when your trying to eat low carb but me and my wife decided to try out Panera for lunch and get a salad. Being on a low carb diet and going to Panera was rough to say the least. We were tempted by just the smell of breads, cakes and cookies that were made that day and we weren't sure that a salad was going to satisfy our hunger. My wife ordered the Green Goddess cobb salad with chicken and I ordered the Southwest Chile Lime ranck chicken salad. Both came with a side dinner roll which we declined instead we choose the apple and took it home. We both had the fresh brewed tea which was really good when mixed with the pomegranate tea. We got our salads fairly quickly and we dug in. The salad was tastier than I expected. The chicken breast was very juicy and full of favor. The dressing had a little kick to it and well with the salad. All and all we were happy with our lunch and will come back again. read more

Bad experience today, which seems to be the case more and more often since this location transitioned from Paradise to Panera. The coffee was out and many guests were waiting with cups in hand for quite a while. The lady at he counter just kept saying "we'll get the coffee out as soon as we can". This is a breakfast place--I would expect that hey could at least get coffee right. The Panera associated who finally refilled the coffee didn't say a word...no "thank your for your patience" or "sorry for the inconvenience". People's food got cold while waiting and the staff didn't seem to care. They don't appear to have enough staff scheduled for the volume that this place does and you suffer for it. No bussers anymore either. The food is still good just much poorer service. read more

Finally found a Panera that didn't kick out my favorite paradise bakery sandwhich (chicken walnut on molasses bread). All time favorite sandwhich. The sode baguette was fresh and soft and their salads are amazing! I recommend the fugi apple chicken. read more

Ordered 2 sandwiches and a salad for 6:25am pickup. I got there at 6:32 to pick it up but still not ready. That was an issue but the biggest issue was the person up front. At first she said it will be ready in a minute. 10 minutes later still not ready. The person up front instead of apologizing just said it happens and didn't seem to care with her mask down under her chin. I asked if the this happens all the time as far as not being ready when the time someone picks is up and she shrugged her shoulders and said the bread needed cutting and a couple other excuses. The person who was putting my order together was more focused on breakfast orders and just let my order sit. Worst customer service I have gotten from this location. If the person up front had better training/customer service skills this would have been a different review. To top it off the salad had wilted discolored greens on the bottom. Would have taken back but it's a 25 min drive one way and didn't expect customers service to deal with the problem appropriately. read more

I have mixed reviews on this location. Sometimes they are great and sometimes they drop the ball. I always order my sandwich with no tomatoes and when I lift the bread there are tomato seeds. I am not sure if some of these sandwiches come premade and they just pick it off or they just mess up EVERY single time. I am also confused on the sandwich size whole or half. Sometimes when I order a whole I get 2 sandwiches and sometimes when I order a half I get a whole sandwich. Shouldn't a whole be 1 and a half be 1/2? Whenever I ask a question they seem annoyed so we try to now order on the kiosk. They also dont seem to read the special instructions, my husband wants every sandwich grilled and they never do it. We will still go and hopefully one day my sandwich will not have tomato seeds on it. read more

I want to start off by saying that I love the food. If it wasn't for the customer service it would have gotten more stars. Normally when we go there to eat we don't have any problems and the food is great and even the service is fine. Tonite I ordered online for rapid pickup. I got there couple mins early so I was standing there waiting. I did notice a bag on the counter where they get everything together. My pickup time comes and goes. I wait another five mins. In this time a couple employees see me standing there and don't say anything to me. Another was off to the side eating (assuming breaktime). I walk up to the register to ask about my order and another employee walks out and smiles at me but doesn't say a word. Finally a girl comes to the register and I ask about my pickup because the boxes are all empty. She asks me my name and goes back to where she came from. She brings the bag that was sitting on the counter and says "it was just on the counter." Like I was supposed to know this when you have actual pickup spot! I then decide to check my order before I leave and they didn't put the chips that come with the sandwhich in the bag. Now, normally I wouldn't care BUT 2 people saw me standing there by the pickup area and didn't say anything, they couldn't even get it into the box like they are supposed to. So I went back to the counter where the bag sat earlier and I asked about the chips that came with the sandwhich. The girl that got my bag in the first place looked at me like I was bothering her grabbed a bag of chips and SLID them across the counter at me! Doesn't say anything, No.. OH Im sorry about that! So glad that Panera kept some of the Paradise Bakery items. The Pick 2 menu contains a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The staff is fast and friendly. They also added a few kiosks so that you can place your order. I like that they added a monitor and you can see the status of your order. Overall, a great place and good quality. read more

I just read every review for Panera in all locations. I had good customer service and some really bad customer service from the MANAGERMENT. My thoughts are it is within the training of the company that needs to be greatly improved... If you don't train the mangers and all the help than you have problems. IF the mangers don't have enough experience in working. with food, and hiring high school kids with no experience than the company needs to train the mangers better to handle all the problems. This is to make sure the food is good, bakery is full with cookies and brownies...but mostly to get the orders correct, listen to the customer...if the order is incorrect...train the young students to follow the menu and fill the orders correctly... As a customer I can spend my money anywhere....and Panera should know that as customers, we don't come back to bad food, poor service and over priced....I hope this company does well. It was great when it was Paradise Bakery, but now it's even better as Panera! I can use my rewards card finally! The whole process of ordering was so efficient; you can get in line and wait (they had plenty of cashiers at lunch rush the two times I went) or order on a tablet with your credit card. Then, your order is placed on a screen so you can see if it is being made or finished/ready to pick up. Finally, there are cubbies with letters for orders already filled to go in. The soda machine was a bit hard to find the first time and is a bit cramped, but no big deal. I'll be happy to keep coming back! read more

5:10 pm on a Wednesday ordered bowl of broccoli cheddar soup the only thing at panera I can tolerate I sat for 20 minutes waiting to finally hear they ran out. So back to the line to get a refund nothing like parking my truck and trailer and walking several blocks for this ! I usually love Panera, but this location specifically always messes up my boyfriend and my order. He is allergic to mustard and they always put mustard or something with mustard in it after we tell them. Yes they always fix it but we had to send it back twice because it was not even fixed the first time we sent it back. I had the Greek salad and it was disgusting and it smelt bad. Unbelievably bad, they could not except a twenty dollar bill for lunch because they did not have change. The Frontega Chicken sandwich had two pieces of chicken about the size of a fifty cent piece and didn't have any cheese on it because they were out of cheese. Then the salad bowl was filthy and we were told it was just that the employee was handling other food prior to preparing the salad. I came in the drive through @8:45p.m and I got an automated voice that said sorry they were closed, even though the hours clearly said they close at 9 PM. I called the number listed on the website, and I wish I remembered the managers name I spoke with. I want to say Melissa but I'm not completely sure; she had excellent customer service relations skills, and a very positive attitude, which isn't easy at the end of the night; when your shift is about to end, and you get last-minute people like myself LOL. She informed me that the drive-through actually closes at 8:40 PM and the inside of the business is open until 9 PM, and I could come on in and place my order. I apologized as I am new out here in surprise, and I know everything closes a little bit earlier. She was a great manager indeed, with great phone etiquette, and her staff working on this nights shift was more than willing to help me, and answer my questions because I clearly didn't know what I was doing LOL. Everyone was just extremely nice and overall it was a very quick in and out for me, but a very enjoyable experience; to be treated with kindness and compassion is really what most people are looking for now a days, and I certainly appreciate it wherever and whenever it comes along. I was here for breakfast on 3/16/19 and I have to say I had the best latte ever! It was way better than Starbucks and reminded me of the coffees I was used to in Seattle and Portland. The oatmeal was almost five stars but was dry but then the manager brought us fresh hot steamed milk so then It was perfect! The chocolate croissant tasted great but was flaky and hard to eat. This place was formerly called Paradise Bakery, I'm not sure how changing names can make a difference, but after today, I probably will not go back, It started out with the woman that waited on me. She had no name tag, I def looked because I wanted to name her in this review. I dont know if she was having a bad day or what, but she behaved like she hated her job and couldnt wait to get out of there. I coudnt see the menu very easily so I asked her about the soups, she read them off so fast & so irritatingly that I didnt hear her. So I stopped & stared at the menu until I could see it better. She sighed because I was taking too long (no one was behind me at the time) And def no smile or "how can i help u" I stepped away after I ordered, I heard other people complaining about her behavior as well. I went to find my friend Fidella & I commented to her, "wow, is she mad or what" Fidella nodded & said OMG, lousy service from her. However, the girl that brought me my bottled water was very nice. The soup I ate was not good, I was very disappointed cuz In the past, their soups were always good. I can handle a bad soup, I can order something else, but when I feel rushed & I dont even want to order because of a bad attitude, then I dont want to return. Usually I have good experiences coming here expect for two times I came here. The first my plates for my Mac and cheese were dirty, then today I ordered through the drive through and my bread was very hard seemed like it's been sitting out or something.
