Worst food place I have ever went. The sandwiches sucked along with the fruit cups. Don't go here!

Since they've created the drive thru the food is HORRID. Went inside the store to order a Spicy Thai salad and a Fuji Apple salad. The salads were in a full size container and only half way filled. They told me this was full size. There was 4 pieces of chicken in the Spicy Thai and I checked online to see what should be in it and realized that the roasted cashew nuts were missing from the Thai and the toasted pecan pieces were missing from the Fuji. This is bad Panera as we spend quite a bit of money at your establishment, but this will obviously change. This is not the first not up to par food experience I've had at the East Stroudsburg location. read more

I wish the menu prices were a little more reasonable, but overall, we love Panera Bread. We love the food and get take away from there often. Far too often, however, something is wrong-- the avocado is blackened, an item was left out, cheese was melted on when asked to leave off, etc. Unfortunately, it's not something we usually notice on the in-store bag check. Today, the wrong bread was used on my sandwich, my two year old's side (a fruit cup) was missing entirely, and the cookies were left in the oven a bit too long. read more

Although I know it's not healthier than eating at any other fast food establishment it dosen't play hell on my stomach as much as a McDonalds or Burger King, but will play hell on your wallet a lot quicker than those places. Best thing to do is go for the half soup/half sandwich/half salad deal (pick 2). Don't feel nearly as crappy after lunch when I eat there. Onion soup is really good. read more

There food is usually ok but over and over again my order is always wrong at this location. I've ordered the tomato soup a bunch of times and have yet to have been given the asiago croutons that are suppose to come with it. I'm a vegetarian and usually order an animal friendly panini and FOUR times there was a large chunk of chicken in it. I work long hours and usually get it to go so unfortunately I don't find these things until I'm already back at work. I called about the chicken pieces showing up in things and they just told me its because they use the same knife with no offer of an apology. I like panera but I will never go back. read more

We've eaten at this panera many times and have never had a problem with the food or the service. It's clean and great for groups of people.

Horrible service. We stopped in and were directed to use the kiosks. The kiosks were impossible to use... you needed to touch the screen several times to get it to respond. When I complained, a lady finally agreed to take my order. As a place my order,she proceeds to tell me all of the dozen soufflés are sold... as are most of the bagels. They were all out on display, but apparently you needed a Golden ticket to be able to order one. I asked her for a gluten free option and she suggested a whole wheat bagel. We walked out and headed to McDonald's down the street. Much better service. read more

Thought the service was great. Talked with an employee who had been there since the place opened 7(?) years ago. Thinking about starting a small business in the area & she was very helpful answering questions about the area. What I love about Panera is that it's fast but not exactly fast food. read more

Enters store on Saturday afternoon. Wait from entering door to completing my order was 19 minutes. Two registers open but observed a lot of other associates. Recommend that more registers open. Before this place had kiosks and your wait was diminished a lot. A lot of other people have complained about the wait time. It is REALLY bad! !!!! Especially when a party of 5 drops $72. Food is as expected like other Paneras. The register area with drink stations and teas around the back is logistically challenging. This needs to be sorted out. Furniture could be more plush and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean but there was no associate log showing if it is addressed every hour. Time from entering to eating food was 27 minutes!!!!! On a Saturday!!!!! I had to leave one star but would leave zero if I had the option. If you are hungry and looking for a comfortable place with good service - pass on this franchise!!! Like the food but the wait is ridiculous. No return here for my family and I. Owner - you need to address these issues or you customer traffic will diminish hurting your KPI's and margins. read more

Four weekends I've gone here and they don't have ham for the seasonal Cuban sandwich. Management appears to be absent at this location. Service and cleanliness has been poor ever since the move to the new location. read more

I always get the pick 2 deal ceazer salad with the brocolli Cheddar soup. So freaking good. You deff leave feeling full but in a very non sluggish good way. Atmospheres really casual yet personal like a really nice cafe. Only complaint on certain days there's this one woman who works as a server totally rude loud and obnoxious makes me wonder how she's still working there everytime I go back lol read more

I totally love Panera, althought it is pricy, it's a WAY better choice than subway!! Try the iced green tea!

I came here for another reason, but noticed Jasmin O.'s comments about the AC blasting. I used to come here to grab something to eat and work on my computer (I have an Internet-based job). It is so cold and uncomfortable, that I couldn't work even with my jacket on. FWIW, I've experienced similar problems at other Paneras, and have heard other customers complain about the cold. I think the employees set the temperature so it's comfortable for them, not the customers. I really wanted to rate 2-1/2 stars, but was only given the option for 2 or 3. Since the service is iffy at this location and the quality is a bit below other Paneras, I went with the lower rating. read more

Before Panera bread moved, I would rate 5 stars. They lost everything that was good. It was so comfortable to be in the old place. The new place is designed badly and doesn't flow nicely. The seating is so cheap compared to what they had. The environment changed horribly and so did the service. I will no longer be eating at this Panera. read more

My wife and I were running errands in Bartonsville and wanted to go somewhere local for a quick bite to eat. We had more things to do and could not wait for a sit down restaurant. Had not been to the new Panara bread location in Stroudsburg so decided to check it out. The old location always had good food and fast service. What a mistake. There was a nonstop line of cars in the drive through. Guess that is where their attention is focused now. We went in to order and waited 25 minutes before I finally went back to the counter to cancel my order and get a refund. There seemed to be more people waiting for food orders inside than eating their meals. Will not make that mistake again. read more

A while back I gave them 2 stars on their order-to-pick-up service. Today, I would give them negative stars if I could. Although they have moved across the street, and now have a drive through, it seems they operate even slower than possible. The worst part is the entire staff has this attitude that they don't even need to offer an apology, nor even an explanation when they mess up. Yesterday, we used the app to place an order and it said my order would be ready at 6:05pm. I got there, and 10 minutes later I see my name way down on the list still. I asked the individual passing out the food at the counter and all he says is "we are running a bit behind". Another 10 minutes later and he grudgingly tells me they are running 26 minutes behind. I say forget it, I want my money back. I seriously could have cooked my family's meal in that amount of time. I told them I wanted a refund, yet no one could even begin to figure out how to help me at the cash register. They said "Wait are you ___ " (referring to my name on the screen), "your order is up". That was a lie, because I still had to wait another few minutes. When they finally had the entire order they just pass it to me with a bothered attitude going "Have a good one". No apologies, no explanations, nothing. This Panera is notorious for being rude, and extremely delayed on orders. My order was 1/2 an hour later and they don't feel that deemed an apology. Also, they have a drive through now, and my guess is they have prioritized that without increasing their staff. I've been to Paneras all over the country, but this one in my own home town has to be the rudest of all... they are HORRIBLE! read more

I spend a lot of time here for various reasons, normally it's a nice environment to relax and get some work done. Customer service is, as someone else said, usually hit-or-miss. I haven't had many terrible experiences but usually can tell easily if staff aren't in a good mood or giving their all which usually dampens the experience and makes me uncomfortable to sit for so long during slow hours. Lately they've been plugging their outlets. Normally this would be minor, but why have so many outlets and offer a coffee-house-like experience and then plug your outlets? Makes it really difficult now to get work done, and there aren't a lot of places nearby that are similar. This one is walking distance to where my boyfriend works. read more

Love their Cheddar Broccoli Soup!! Delicious! We like to go here for lunch or light dinner. My husband likes the Pick 2. The prices are very reasonable! Their bagels are fresh and very good. Once in a while we will get a pastry, so good! They have great monthly specials, that we look forward to! They seem to be interested in the healthy side of eating out which I appreciate! read more

First if you are not a trained regular, forget it. Not been in under the new format? Well, I do not want there "APP" so stood there like an idot trying to figure out if we should sit down, order at one of three counters or pick up a paper menu. Table service or no? No direction at all and no employee to ask if we needed help. Just stood there confused. FYI the paper menu did not agree with the items on the kiosk when we finally GUESSED what we were supposed to do. No greeter. OK, put up a sign! So we ordered on the kiosk and clearly checked "dine in" option. Now to sit down or watch the counter or what? No guidance. Finally we sat down after I asked and someone told us they would bring it. Hard to do as every table in the place was filthy. Worse then a McDonalds. We cleaned our own table. Fifteen minutes later - no food - I went up and asked. OH, they said, you must have chose "take out" (which I expressly did not). OK, so give us our bag. Whoops, no bag either. So it wasn't me. Finally I grabbed an employee who tried to figure it out and told us to sit down and they would bring it, again. Another fifteen minutes and I finally go up to one of the counters, to find the order sitting there (a full ten minutes). Minus my wife's sandwich which they then began to make only because I asked about it. Now everything else is cold. Really. Finally cold latte dumped and started over - we sit down to eat. The spoon they gave her with the latte was beyond disgustingly dirty. OK, the sandwiches - after a half hour and a lot of stress, were OK. Still better then Subway. But the two pastries we ordered were not what we remember from the old Panera. They were no better, or were even worse, then deserts sold by Sysco, frozen, and pre-boxed to the general food service market. Hence a 500% mark-up for less then average deserts. I admit not having been in to a Panera in a couple of years - it was GREAT then - but if this is the new model then my wife and I say never again. read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but after so many issues I feel compelled to. First, let me start off by saying when Panera was on top of the hill, I had zero issues with it. The food was always good, the service was good, and overall I enjoyed myself. When I heard the were moving down the hill with a drive thru, I was ecstatic! I've been to the one near Easton that is a drive thru and have always had an awesome experience. I have gone to this drive thru in Stroudsburg, maybe about 10 times. It doesn't sound like a lot, but no exaggeration EVERY TIME something is wrong. Not to mention, I'm waiting for what seems like 10 or 15 minutes for my order. Now I understand, there is a quality to be upheld with their food so if it was just the wait time that wasn't good, I'd let it go. Not for nothing, Easton always provides quality food in an efficient manner. Anyway, in addition to always waiting a long time for a drive thru, my order has been messed up every time as well. They either give me the wrong item or forget to put an item in even after they are clarifying with me what my order is. I'm just not sure what went wrong from moving locations 50 feet away from each other, but it is incredibly disappointing. The staff is pleasant thankfully. I hope that it improves! read more

The staff are among the best in an area where most servers belong behind bars. The coffee is good & I like the fact that they will brew a new pot if it's close to expiration time. The food & all is way over priced & not worth the price. I enjoy their bakery. all in all, in an area that seems to turn the BEST CHAINS into crappolla, they should be very proud of all their employees. read more
