Ordered a Soup & Sandwich Combo of broccoli cheddar soup and a tuna sandwich along with a strawberry lemonade. The food was great, the service was quick and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Panera's is a tried and true place for a good meal.

clean yall d*** eating utensils before yall give them to people!!!!!!! im so sick and tired of this specific location always giving me dirty a** spoons. if i had a dollar for every time yall gave me a spoon with bread crumbs on it i would have enough money to buy my entire family an entree plus something to drink. get it together!!!!!

September 17, 2021 I only came here out of convenience, since my car is being serviced nextdoor. My previous experiences here have been lackluster and poor service. The door was unlocked, so I would assume they are open for service. I walk inside to see signs that read "kiosk or drive through only." When I ask an employee where the kiosk is, she merely points in the direction--there weren't people at the counter. I go back to the food pick up area to inquire how to order and I'm told drive through or online orders. I am unable to drive through since my car is being serviced. This is a huge inconvenience to Panera customers. As I sit outside typing this review, several other customers are walking up to the door to find the restaurant is closed for dine in service. Do better Panera at Telegraph and 12 Mile Road! It's sad, this used to be a nice location, but it seems to be continuing to spiral downward.

Inside of the burnt Panera Grilled Cheese that the manager told me was acceptable/typical.

Please see the Image of the burnt grilled cheese I received today. I did as instructed and called and spoke with the manager. I was told that I could drive back to get a new sandwich but what I received was accurate because the sandwiches are cooked open face. No apology. I told him I order grilled sandwiches pretty often and that they are not burnt and he did not agree with me but said he would make it for me. He turned down my offer of showing him what the sandwich looked like. I declined to take my time to drive back to basically receive the same thing I received originally. This is unacceptable, and not the Panera style I have grown accustomed to through the years. Their food is expensive but good and I'm willing to pay for it. I'm not accepting the burnt scraps this manager is offering. I want a refund and the manager and staff should be trained.

Nice size Panera with a good atmosphere. Management very helpful after I told them some of my items were forgotten. Would definitely return!

Tried this over another popular spot based on reviews, but also price. We got a good sampling of…read morethe offerings including the St Louis style half rack of ribs, the smoked chicken wings, a 1/2 lb of beef brisket and a pulled chicken sandwich. In addition we got several side orders including the collard greens, mac and cheese, cole slaw and potato wedges. Everything was solid. The ribs were well seasoned with a dry rub but also if you wanted you could add the sauce which was tangy and sweet but not overwhelming to the meat. The smoked wings also have a dry rub (possibly the same as the ribs). They were perfectly cooked and both flavorful and moist. They also tasted great with the sauce. Pulled chicken sandwich was also very good. Lightly sauced, but you get extra so you can get as messy as you like. Again, good flavor on the sauce with a nice twang and kick but sweet without being too much. The wedges were my favorite side as they had a little spice to them. The mac and cheese was solid but nothing special. Collards were fine though I actually like them a little less cooked (flavor was good though). Slaw was the vinegar kind which was perfect. Overall, would order again. For the price and production, it was worth it.

It's…read moredefinitely not the cheapest deli out there, but once you taste the food, you understand exactly why. The quality is absolutely top‑notch. Their tuna is unreal--dangerously good--and the corned beef is everything you'd hope for and more. I'll be honest: when you walk up, the place doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, it feels like a small, old‑school grocery store that hasn't changed much over the years. But don't let that fool you for a second. This is one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" spots where the food does all the talking--and it speaks loud and clear. Star Deli is a staple, and honestly, I feel like I shouldn't even have to explain why it's great. It's been here forever because it deserves to be. If you're not getting Star Deli, wow--you're seriously missing out. This place is an absolute classic, and the food is nothing short of amazing. ---

Don't eat here. No one in there right mind would pay $20 for a simple sandwich. It's 4 ingredients, they got upset with me when I was politely confused due to the price.. a simple sandwich doesn't cost $20. There is no reason a sandwich with two slices of bread, some sandwich meat, bottled Russian dressing, and two slices of cheese would cost anywhere over $8... I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 12 years. I have a feeling that they are taking advantage of their long standing position in this community, a loyal customer base, and customers not understanding pricing of beef.. 6 slices of corn beef is about $3, two slices of rye bread is $0.50, two slices of Swiss cheese is $0.20, a spread of Russian dressing is $0.05.... And they will charge you $20 for a sandwich..... this is awful, disloyal, and advantageous. Don't go here, find another place for lunch that respects hard working people trying to get a decent sandwich. Their food is great, but no intelligent person is paying $20 for a sandwich. It's almost laughable if it wasn't so disrespectful.

I had the usual for my first time at a new deli, ie, chopped liver on rye. This time I had chicken soup with kreplach, too. It was excellent. Thus far, I would have to rank Steve's among the 3 or 4 best around these parts in terms of quality and probably *the* best in terms of variety. Service was outstanding, too. A plus: unlike most delis, Steve's actually has more than just salads to offer my vegan wife. My server was very knowledgable about that, too. So, I brought home a vegetarian "liver" sandwich and a knish for the missus' dinner (and an order of kishke with gravy for me).

Steve's Deli serves up some of the best deli sandwiches and matzo ball soup around. Their breakfast is also fantastic -- you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My buddy and I came in on a Thursday and got their Thursday special: turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, and soup. OMG -- it was so delicious. Huge portions, full of flavor, and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. On top of the great food, the service here has always been top-notch. Every visit over the years, they've gone above and beyond. Never had a bad experience. If you're anywhere near Bloomfield Hills and craving comfort food or a classic deli meal, Steve's Deli is absolutely worth the stop.
