Stopped in today to get a quick lunch on the way to work. I dont normally frequent this Panera as its 30 minutes from work. My whole order was wrong none of the right toppings on my sandwich and dry mac n cheese. I had a bad experience at Panera before and I called and they replaced the order,BUT NO NOT THIS LOCATION. This Paneras manager Ricky asked me to bring the food back after me already explaining I work 30 minutes away. I decided to call corporate and they would only replace one entree but I ordered two and explained that. Bad day for Panera never again for me hope it was worth it. read more

Totally out of bagels at 10:30 AM on a Saturday. They will not make more because their corporate office gives them a certain number to make for the day and when they're out, they're out. Unacceptable! Won't be back. Can't trust that they'll have what I want. read more

The size of the sandwiches has been shrinking over time. I think it reached a point for me to post a low rating. Taste of the food is still good. Just not a good value anymore. See picture read more

Panera Bread - Small size of sandwich - Salad Near Me - Southfield, Michigan

I only go to this location because of how close it is to me. The food quality is the same as other Paneras, the portion sizes are much smaller than other Paneras, and (the real reason I dislike this location) is because of the poor customer service. I eat Panera for dinner some nights and there is a woman (40s/50s) with glasses that is always nice and polite and efficient. For the rest of the staff I continuously come in contact with, (teenagers or early 20 year olds) they talk to others as they take my order, which as a result mess up my order, do not pay attention to what I am asking for, and sometimes the wait is long despite the lobby and drive-thru having little to no customers. Long story short, hire people who want to learn quality customer service. I'll stick to Zoup. read more

Things have not gotten better over time here. I recently came in for soup, beverages and a dessert. I ordered from the automated self-serve (put your cc in-order on the screen) because I figured that would be simpler. They were already out of most Dessert items. So...I take the pager, dispense my cold drink, and sit and wait....and wait. After I nagged them, I got my soup. Then, no tea and no Dessert. When I complained, Ricky said they were out of the Danish. But, why was I able to order it if they were out of it?? He said they had a problem with the Bakery delivery. I got the yogurt parfait as a substitute, and then had to come back to beg for a spoon to eat it with. I'm not coming back for several months, to see if they've gotten their act together. read more

I think this is a new location. It's a great place - clean and efficient. The downside is that it is right next to the highway entrance to 696 so it was a little tricky avoiding getting on the ramp to get on Telegraph. It seems like it's a new place and I really liked the table service. They bring your food and drinks to your table instead of you waiting near the end of the counter for your food. There is also a drive through. I was here from 10-12 in the morning and it wasn't crowded, plenty of space and the free wi-fi is helpful! read more

The coffee here is one of their most under rated aspects. I have been here many times in the past and the service has always been great. They accept apple pay and have kiosk to the right of the line for those that choose to not humanly interact that day. The coffee was good as usual and and the cashier even pointed out that if I was a member I could have gotten a free coffee that day. Needless to say i would definitely reccomend. read more

Nice restaurant. My wife ordered her potato soup in a bread bowl and it was under $6 after tax, and very filling. Bread was good, so was the soup. Front cashier was awkard, but after the order was placed it didn't matter. Restaurant was fairly clean for a rushhour timeframe, and delivery of food was very fast. Would come back again. read more

Ricky or Rick is among the worst Managers. Why? He's rude, his staff is slow (lazy), he communicates poorly, and bottom-line shouldn't be in that role because he sucks! I don't recommend this location because of staff that sit around chit-chatting and not delivering food to the guest table or even bother to call the guest to state, "food is ready" or use the device to buzz that food can be picked-up. This Metro-Detroit is proving to validate that it is as poorly skilled as is known all around this country. Blame the poorly educated people who don't seem to take any interest in stepping-their-game-up to the modicum of standard! NOT good! read more

This Panera Bread is quick, easy, and the food taste great. This is the first drive-thru Panera bread I have seen in the metropolitan Detroit area. It is located right off of telegraph road, which is easily accessible while driving. The drive-thru was fast, accurate and pleasant. Great place to try. read more

"Even the salad is perfect," says my 11 year old son. Good service and nice environment with an electric fireplace.

My Panera in Canton is fantastic, however I work in Southfield and the drive-thru experience is not up to par. Staff seems to be uninterested in your order. You're kinda just another number to them. Food is good and the service inside is better. I'd stay away from the drive thru though. read more

I waited in the drive through for 10 minutes (no cars behind or ahead of me) for a cup of soup and a bowl of soup. When i got back to the office and opened the soups up i realized they did not put any croutons in the Bistro Onion soup and the bowl of Autumn Squash soup was filled up only half way (also no pumpkin seeds on top). So i payed almost 5$ for half a bowl of soup which is awesome. Anytime i ask for condiments or salt and pepper at the window the cashier has to go god knows where to get them because they always dissapear for about 3 minutes. This Panera sucks and they clearly dont give an F. read more

Have not been to Panera in a while and I had a gift card so I stopped in. Got the 1/2 roasted chicken and carmelized kale panini. First, I was surprised at how small it was and how thin it was. I opened it up and there wasn't much on the inside either. The potato soup wasn't very good either and it was not hot, barely warm actually. Really disappointed as I was really hungry. read more

Panera Bread - Salad Near Me - Southfield, Michigan

Great service with clean environment all the time. I wish I could say the same for other Panera bread store nearby. This one is exceptional. And all the staff are very friendly and courteous. I feel that I am getting an upscale service in a very affordable dining place. Definitely a great place to have casual conversation with work staff/clients. I highly recommend this one. read more

Okay, I just stopped by the location on telegraph with hopes of getting a decent lunch. Well, that didn't happen. The carryout service is HOR-RI-BLE.....and I do mean HORRIBLE. On top ofgetting the order completely wrong and charging more than it was suppose to be. So,nothing more needs to be said....except I won't waste another lunchtime going to that location. read more

The staff is very kind and it is almost always clean. I come here on my lunch breaks often. It is very busy around 12 (lunch hour) however if you come in the evening it is practically empty. I would recommend this place, especially to college students who need a place to study at night. read more

THIS PANERA BREAD IS HORRIBLE! Bad service very disappointed they took way to long to give our food and staff members are disrespectful period! A guy bumped into with his dirty dishes didn't even apologize nothing and this place is just so filthy I couldn't even sit and enjoy my meal I had to go to my car never will I come to this location ever again and when I ask for management they wouldn't direct me read more

I love Panera. Their food is great and I think it's a great price for what it is. However, I would not recommend ordering rapid pick up from this location. I have twice now, and both times it was wrong. Incidentally, both times the issue was that I didn't get my mixed berry parfait. The first time, I drove all the way back and they said "oh, we didn't have any strawberries." "Well, did you charge me for it?" "Yeah." The manager then says she can cut some fresh strawberries for me. Okay... why didn't you do that in the first place? The second time, they just didn't give it to me. I drove all the way back and all they had to do was grab it out of the fridge. There was more than one in there. I don't understand why I didn't get it initially. This particular time, by the time I drove all the way back and waited for them to fix my order, i didn't even have time to eat it before i had to go to work. So that was really annoying. Management needs to crack down. While I was waiting for my order the manager was walking around singing and joking while the employees were in the back joking and swearing. I could hear all of this. I would bet this is why my orders keep coming out wrong, because everyone is having too much fun to pay attention. read more

The Panera has the worst service I've ever received. I go through the drive through about 3x per week and they never make my coffee correctly. When I ask for confirmation that they heard the instructions, I'm ignored. Too many times not getting what I ordered and paying good money. They've permanently lost my business. read more

Rude employees & terrible service. I work less than a half mile away so I tried this location multiple times. Every time my order was incorrect by a long shot, I would order soup and I was given a sandwich????? Or the employees were just plain out rude & unhelpful. Corporate needs to re-evaluate this location read more

I ordered delivery and waited a little longer than the estimated delivery time. Not a huge deal. When I opened up the salad box that I had ordered I found a gross white string the definitely didn't belong. I am disappointed that I waited for delivery only to get a salad that is not edible. I wish I could include a picture! read more

Ordered a takeout including 2 brownies. Brownies were inedible. So hard you could have used them do drive nails into a board. Had to pitch them. Waste of money. read more

Best service I have ever received at a restaurant. They made a few minor mistakes on my order and went above and beyond to fix it. I was so impressed I signed up for yelp just to post this. read more

I am always a fan of Panera Bread. I like this one because they bring the food to your table. They got a drive thru.

the employees here are lazy - half of what I ordered they wer out of they screwed up my order. I wouldn't go back here.

This location consistently has excellent service, especially from the early morning drive thru team. Great work all around.

Despite my concerns the rapid pick up was pretty legit. I also ordered a you pick two and the half of sandwich I received was supper small, but I talked to the manager and she worked with me to remake the sandwich. Very professional, spot on customer service read more

Ordered online at 9:30 to pick up my order by 10:30am, I'm driving from WSU and figured that was enough time. When ordering on line I choose the Pick two option. It states that soups are not available until after 10am. Thinking that the soup would be done by the time I went to pick up my order it was not. They said that the soup was not even close to being done. The salad they haven't even made yet and when I got it they gave me a little lettuce not parmesan cheese and i ordered double chicken and didn't even get that. Wish I had taken a picture of it. During the time I was waiting for them to finish my order. There was other people who came in after me and ordered their food and got theres before mine. I guess they were mad at me because I told them i ordered my food an hour ago. They made me wait an extra 40 minutes for my order for which i made online at 9:30am to be ready by 10:30am. There was this one guy who kept staring at me behind the counter giving me a mean look. This place has horrible customer service and I'm a very forgiving and patient person. But once you start giving me dirty mean looks, I won't stand for that. read more

How exciting, it's a Panera Bread with a drive-through right next to my office... I've come here three times now, and every time the service has been fast and the food has been fresh. The only downside is that it is almost impossible to find. For some reason, the signage is somewhat difficult to see because there are so many other, bigger signs around it, plus it's almost immediately before the 696 entrance. So every time I come here, I accidentally pass it, but that's okay it's a good place and I enjoy it. read more

Terrible. I ordered the Mediterranean Egg White Sandwich almost 2 months ago and they forgot the egg white. I called and talked to a manager, she indicated that they would send a voucher to replace it. 2 weeks later nothing, no voucher. I called again and got a different manager and he apologized and said that he would send another. It has been well over a month and still no voucher. I will never go back there again. It would be nice if the company did what they said they would do. I was in the drive thru so please always check your food before you leave! read more

OMG!!!! The worst PB I've ever been to. If you are looking for poor service, workers standing around looking at you and to get your order wrong stop by this location. read more

Not impressed. Waited to order and I was the only one in line. Out of bread completely and not quite sure how that happens at a bread company. Had to listen to the employees yell and scream as they were fooling around. Overall experience is I wouldn't come back. Food was cold but generally edibl. read more
