Chipotle Chicken, Egg & Avo Sandwich and Southwest Chicken Salad
    Richard L.

First time to Panera Bread period. Always wanted to try this place and I got to try it in Salt Lake City. I love this place. I was actually looking around to have something light and healthy for dinner in SLC and thought of this place....tried it and I love it. I ordered the chicken rancher sandwich and the southwest chicken salad. Would definitely go back to try their soups and they also have bake items on display that look really good.

The portion size was decent, but the food was mostly bland. However, the staff was very friendly, and the store was fairly clean. The papaya green tea was not bad, but it lacked the papaya flavor. Towards the end, we also ordered takeout since it was not busy. Sadly, they messed up our order :(. Additionally, I would not recommend the fruit cups. It was not fresh and the fruits were not evenly distributed among the cups. We ordered 4 fruit cups, and some clearly had more fruits than others.

Took 40 minutes to get our food, and significantly overpriced. Won't be back, unfortunately

I was impressed. Didn't expect much from bar food, but this was really good food…read more I had the fish and chips. The fish was very good. Good sized planks, three of them, with fresh tasting fish. The waitress asked if I wanted malt vinegar when taking my order. A very good sign. It came with a very good cole slaw, sliced thin and with an excellent creamy dressing. One of the best slaws I've ever eaten. The fries were excellent. It also came with tartar sauce, of course. Best tartar sauce I've ever had in my life. Seriously. I never eat fish and chips with tartar sauce, it has to be malt vinegar in every bite or it's sacrilegious. But this tartar sauce--wow. I alternated bites between the tartar sauce and the vinegar because I couldn't decide which I liked better. I took home what was left of the sauce so that my wife could taste it. She agreed that it was excellent. This was a board meeting for our club. Others had the steak salad, fish tacos, bacon wrapped hot dog, chicken teriyaki lo mein...other items that I don't know what they ordered. But all around me said what they were eating was very good. There were some nachos passed around, the Station Nachos: "House Made Tortilla Chips, Fresh Queso, Four Cheese Blend, Citrus Pickled Onions, and Pico de Gallo." It was very good. The place is a bar restaurant and the interior was comfortable enough. It was a bit noisy for the older folk in our club to hear each other for a meeting, but that's the way it is. Our server was efficient, though I was wondering about the order and time it took for the different items, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Our party of 15 got all of our food in good time. The waitress was friendly and efficient, but we were in a different large room and I think she was also waiting on tables in the main room. As such, I didn't get checked on my soft drink for refill. Not a biggie as I didn't need one. Pleasant surprise at the quality here. I would definitely return. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

My husband had the fish tacos and couldn't stop talking about them. They come with chips and salsa, so it's definitely filling. The salsa was fine, but the tacos were the real winner. They have a wide variety of drinks and a solid alcohol menu with plenty of options. The service was great from start to finish, and the restaurant itself was clean with a fun, relaxed vibe. Bonus points for being able to accommodate larger groups. They can handle parties of 10, which is not always easy to find. We're already planning to come back to play pool and check out their weekend brunch. Highly recommend.

My friend and I walked in a little after 7:30p on a Thursday, not realizing until we were on our way that they close at 8p. When we walked in, I was expecting a typical poke place where they make it front of you and you take your food and go, but it's actually a fancier-than-expected sit-down restaurant! It has a beautiful, sophisticated, and clean interior with great modern vibes. There was a host/server at the podium and he immediately welcomed us in and told us they could seat us no problem, despite the restaurant being empty and so close to closing time. We tried to order as quickly as we could, and I requested my order be served in to-go containers, which they kindly accommodated. I ended up choosing the spicy kilauea poke (spicy mayo tuna), which was $25 for 6 oz but included a scoop of rice. Definitely a touch pricey, but fair given how much fish they give you. It was DELICIOUS! Aaand it came with a little bit of avocado, which I loved! I would get it again in a heartbeat, even though I would love to try their freshie poke, steak poke, pork poke, or musubi...oh and their crack mac. Basically their whole menu, haha! Our server did mention these are meant to share, so very possible to try it all if you bring a willing group! My friend ended up getting the smash burger off the secret menu, and the server recommended she get it with Kilauea sauce. She liked it, although she said the sauce wasn't as spicy as she expected. She also got a side of foodie fries which she enjoyed. Overall would rate the whole experience 10 out of 5 if I could! Great food, great service, great ambiance...what more could you need?

The best customer service in the area thus far and I've been here almost 7 days and eaten at quite a few restaurants. The Spicy Kīlauea in my opinion was the bomb! Just the right portion, too. The Steak Poke was also delicious as well as the cabbage Kimchi and seaweed salad. Just wish the poke bombs were available this visit. Prices vary and are on the pricer side, but definitely worth it. The ambiance was perfect just right to sit and enjoy a good lunch with Aloha! I will definitely be back again.
