Panera Bread is a great place to pick up pastries, bagels and or coffee for an office or other gathering. They have multiple locations and the Panera app makes it convenient to place orders for pickup. This Panera Bread is located at the Riverside Plaza off Central Ave near the 91 freeway. Parking is limited and, during peak hours, you may need to circle around the lot to wait for someone to leave. It's not in the best location as it gets very congested. Panera is a casual eatery. I've always known it to be a breakfast, brunch or lunch place but I know they also offer dinner, which I've never tried. My go to here are: * Bagels - perfect to bring for a group or office * Kitchen Sink Cookie * Orange Scone * Mediterranean Sandwich Prices are affordable and the have a range of items to choose from.

It has been ages since I've been to a Panera Bread! I stepped into this Panera while at the Riverside Shopping, Plaza, (which, side note, was a very pleasant surprise in and of itself) The first thing that I noticed was a cute patio seating area outside, and upon walking in, I was greeted with a bakery case, full of very aesthetic baked goods, and a wall full of baguettes and bagels. The staff was super friendly, and answered all the questions I had about the menu (which was admittedly, a little confusing, because there is a lot to take in with their options) I decided on the soup and salad combo, which came out to about $16 and opted to dine in. They hand you a little beeper to let you know when your order is ready, and once it is, your order can be picked up at their counter. The food was good, salad and soup were both very tasty. However, I will admit that for the price point a tad bit on the pricey side. During my meal, an employee came over to remove my empty plates and asked how everything was, which I thought was a nice touch on customer service. Overall a pleasant experience and welcome back to Panera after a long time away. If you're in the area would definitely recommend a stop for a quick meal or snack

cashier very nice and helped us quickly but food seems to have changed a lot. chips aren't tasting the same and i noticed the bag has changed since last time i stopped by a panera (it's been a while). the sandwich (chicken bacon rancher) is a bit bland and was lacking in flavor but i think that is because of the lack of veggies and such but it just wasn't for us! soup is fine as always just wish it was warmer. it's a restaurant and i know because of the location things can get busy but there were no clean tables...and even dishes and trash were piling up. just a bit of food/not the best for what you pay. almost $25 for this combo, a drink, and a cookie.

We stopped ordering from this location awhile back because they frequently got our order wrong. After getting breakfast at an out of state location we tried them again. First order was fine. Today we ordered a bagel pack (13) bagels. We picked up the bagged order and drove home, to find (2) bagels missing despite check marks that the order was "checked" by "MP". This is the same sort of service that caused us to stop ordering before. Never again.

Overpriced! And never any seating because people are always working on their laptops instead of just going to eat.

We first visited on Valentine's Day in February and had an excellent experience. The pizzas were delicious, we were seated without a reservation, and we left excited to come back. Yesterday, we decided to bring a few friends with us because we had spoken so highly of the restaurant. We arrived a little after 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday, and the restaurant was fairly empty with only a handful of tables occupied. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was friendly throughout the meal. Each couple ordered pizzas along with appetizers and drinks. We ordered the Italian salad but were accidentally brought the Green Goddess instead. It was a harmless mistake, and since we had enjoyed that salad during our previous visit, we happily kept it. Our friends received their pizzas, and we assumed ours would follow shortly. Thirty minutes passed, and by then our friends were nearly finished eating. Meanwhile, we noticed several tables that had arrived after us receiving their food before we did. We asked our waitress to check on our order. She went back to the kitchen and returned, explaining that our pizza had apparently been forgotten and was only then being made. She assured us it would take no more than 10 minutes. Fifteen more minutes passed, and our pizza still hadn't arrived. Since we had a clear view of the kitchen, it didn't appear there was any urgency to get our order out. At that point, after waiting nearly an hour since placing our order, we had to cancel it because we had other plans and couldn't stay any longer. Our waitress apologized and removed the pizza from our bill, but that was the only resolution offered. While we appreciated her kindness, we left the restaurant disappointed and still hungry. Mistakes happen, and forgetting an order is understandable from time to time. What was most disappointing was how the situation was handled. After waiting an hour for a forgotten order, we had hoped for a more meaningful effort to make things right beyond simply removing the item we never received. It's unfortunate because we genuinely loved this restaurant after our first visit and were excited to introduce it to our friends. Thankfully, our friends enjoyed their meals, but this experience left us hesitant to return. Great pizza is important, but great service and how a restaurant responds when things go wrong are what keep customers coming back.

(: We were very grateful for that. I got the Italian Grinder with no red onions and substituted the ham for turkey. I chose the pasta salad as my side, and the sandwich also came with some kind of vinaigrette. The flavors were good, but I think the bread started to come apart near the end, and I personally wish the red peppers had more of a pickled aspect! I also got the Lemon Cheesecake Bar (?), which was yummy, but it does have nuts on top. I think a crumble topping would be even better instead. (: The inside feels a bit dated, but the employees definitely seemed to be keeping it clean. As customers came and went, they cleared the dirty tables pretty quickly. Overall, I'd give this place a 4/5, but 5 stars for the accommodation. :)

I came in at sort of an odd hour for lunch so the place was pretty chill and not too busy. Service style is fast casual where you order at the counter and find a seat. The pastrami was griddled and has an old school flavor and style with some nice crunch from the sourdough. A great sandwich overall! Parking in the neighborhood wasn't too hard to find along the street and even if you need to park a block or two away, the neighborhood is nice to walk through.

We were a little hesitant to ask because not every place is willing to make custom substitutions, especially since they already have a cold tuna sandwich on the menu. We wanted a hot tuna melt, and they happily accommodated our request without any hesitation. That level of customer service really stood out. The sandwich was absolutely worth it--I would recommend it 100%! It had the perfect kick from the sriracha aioli, a generous amount of tuna, and the pickled onions added so much flavor. Everything came together perfectly. We also ordered the Basil Pomodoro after one of the staff members recommended it, mentioning that it's one of their most popular items. They definitely didn't steer us wrong! It was incredible, and honestly, I'd order it over and over again. The creamy stracciatella cheese (a lighter, creamier version of burrata) paired perfectly with the sundried tomatoes and basil. If we hadn't already ordered the California Melt, we probably would have gotten a second Basil Pomodoro because it was that good. For drinks, we tried the Iced Strawberry Matcha, which came with strawberry purée at the bottom and strawberry cold foam on top. I'd easily give it a 9/10--it was refreshing and delicious. We also had a regular coffee, and that was excellent as well. The staff were amazing from start to finish. They took the time to answer all of our questions, helped us decide what to order, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Great food, great drinks, and even better customer service.
