This place is really great for studying or grabbing something to drink. The staff is hard working and generally nice. They do put effort into what they do and have always been responsive when I would ask for things. Panera is 5 mins away from my job so it's always a go to lunch spot for my coworkers and I, but today's experience gave me a change of heart. We placed our order online as usual but today I had to change the time of my pick up, I called them up and I was placed on hold for 20 mins, yup you read that right TWENTY MINS. During that time I repeatedly tried calling from another phone and could not get a hold of any one, finally someone answered the call giggled when I kindly expressed how upset I was for waiting and said she just changed my pick up time and went about her day . So of course 10:20 comes around my food is not ready and we had to wait longer. I called back to speak with a manager and the same female cashier who was suppose to change my order time remembered me and when I said my food wasn't ready on time all she could say was "uh huh is there something you needed?" what I needed was better customer service. If she was my employee I would remove her from answering phone calls immediately because she had horrible mannerisms. I have never been so belittled by an establishment like this before. The only thing that some what saved this horrendous experience was the kind manager Stacey who got on the line and apologized. I was not calling for a free meal or a refund all I wanted was the respect I deserved as a customer. As for now I'm not even sure if I'll go back. read more

My daughter and I had lunch here over Thanksgiving weekend. I had broccoli cheese soup and bread. I liked the bread, the soup was all-right, I have had better broccoli cheese soup, it was served warm as was the bread. The portions seemed on the small side for the price. Service was fine here, though this place seemed on the noisy side, it was a holiday shopping weekend and crowded so I understand, and tables are kind of close together. It was all-right for a quick late lunch, it was nice the cashier offered us choice of pastry to take home, I think it might have been 99 cents extra on lunch deal, she bagged them for us which we took home and my husband took to work to enjoy with coffee the next day. I haven't tried the pastry or sweets here, they looked good and nice variety, so I would stop in for a muffin on the go when I am shopping in the Riverside Plaza area. read more

I ordered a steak and egg bagel with a scrambled egg for breakfast. They gave me some sandwich with eggs over easy, tomatoes, and some ham. I give it 5 starts every time i come here. My food is always warm, delicious, and they are fast. People just like to complain about anything. Horrible customer service. I ordered a dozen bagels and two tubs of cream cheese and when I drove all the way home they gave me some kind of honey walnut cream cheese so I called and the manager told me that the next time I was in the area to stop back in and they would replace my order. They said they would write my name down and all I had to do was give my name and they would take care of it. I walk in today and let them know I was there to pick up what was promised and the new manager said if I don't have my receipt or the name of who I spoke to he cannot honor what was told to me. The food here is nice; it's fresh and put together with care. It's a little expensive though. I got a 1/2 soup and a 1/2 sandwich and it was over $10. I think I'll make my own next time. Food and service is usually great at other Panera's, however, the Panera at Riverside Plaza was awful. They refused to take my gift card saying their computers wouldn't accept them, eventhough those same computers were able to take my credit card and my Panera Membership card. The cashier told me this was going on for over 2 weeks. Sounds to me like they wanted cash instead of gift cards. The cashier had a nasty attitude. I said I've had this card over a month, can you take it? He said "look at it, does it say gift card? I said yes, he said "well then you can't use it". I was already there so I went ahead and used my credit card. I was not happy, and then they even stiffed me on the bowl of soup I ordered. It was half full and the bread was stale. I think I'll use my gift card at a different Panera and I won't be buying Panera gift cards for anyone in the future. read more

I come here every day for my daily coffee and although service tends to be mediocre, there are those few who show exceptional service. Tim in particular stands out because he welcomes me in, remembers my name, and always makes sure I have everything I need before moving onto the next costumer. The female manager there is always kind and very helpful as well, but that is to be expected from a manager. I know the pandemic has made everything difficult so I try not to judge to harshly. However I wish the majority of there employees could share Tims energy and enthusiasm! read more

I love that I can order directly from the Panera website. The lunch was delivered on time and set up very nicely. The delivery person was friendly and took care of everything. This Panera bread location is straight terrible. The customer service was bad, management was unprofessional, and the food was sickening. I ordered a Ham, Egg, and Cheese sandwich and the whole meal was cold. The Egg was spongy, the ham looked like burnt rubber, and to top it off there was hair on the plate. I was so disappointed in my experience I will never go back. I can't believe that they're still in business. I hope corporate does something about this location because it definitely needs a whole transformation starting with the customer service and employees. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The only reason I give it at least one star is because of the internet access, but I think I'll just stick with Starbucks for that. This review is based only on the bagels and cookies. I try to come every other Tuesday for the 6.99 bakers dozen. I serious love the bagels here and the bagels stay fresh as long as they are sealed. If you love bagels like we do then you will not be disappointed. The cookies are nice and big enough to share. read more
