The sandwiches were much larger than expected, and were still nice and warm. Opened the bag to find each sandwich was wrapped and clearly labeled. The herb flavors were present in the Cuban, the pickles were mighty tasty offsetting the fat, and the vinegar in mustard tied it all together and the warm fresh crusty bread... OHHHHH MYYYYY!!! Greatttttt sandwhich! Jalapeno cheese bread with trip tip was MF FIRE !! I'd never imagine blue cheese and trip tip with jalapeno and spinach. Wowwwww it worked.. let's talk quality... quality aromatic blue cheese with a nice punch to it.. it almost melted into the bread!! The perfectly large chunks of wilted spinach from the heat of the meat, and the breaddddddddddddddd.. salty, slightly spicy from the jalapeno ... WOW NEW FAVORITE!! They had a lot of orders that they were trying to get out, but this one person accidentally put possibly mayo on a sandwich, turned around with the piece of bread in his hand, which I couldn't see what he did with it, but it was kind of wiped off, so I don't know if he scraped it on something, but he did not use a knife in my view to take it off then he took a towel to it, wiped it off and then put it on the grill for 10 seconds and then he put the correct spread on it. Now... What if that person was grossed out by mayo or allergic to something in the mayo. It would've been just as easy to get a fresh roll. That kind of grossed me out. I'm glad it wasn't ours. I have to wonder what that towel was used on. It wasn't a fresh towel. It was crumbled up. That has not sat well with me since I saw that. I think the rating on them (if I was an inspector ) would have been affected. Normally we love that place!

The workers were also very confused on how to ring things up and what was included in a kids meal and had to come by the table for us to remind them what we ordered on a sandwich because they didn't understand the ticket produced by their machine. They had to call the owner to get help. The worst part is it took forever to get out sandwiches. We had places 2 orders. The first one came out after about 20 minutes. But another 20 minutes went by and we had not heard a peep from anyone. So I went to the register and there were no customers. I told them I was checking on our order and they looked confused. My order was sitting in a bag on the back counter!!! No one noticed or checked on it. We didn't get our sandwiches for 40 minutes after ordering them.

But they dont have the racks out anymore. Which is sad. Besides being pricey and some little changes , the food and quality is still good in my opinion. They get really busy alot and they would have tables through out the gas station..but they gas station was bought and almost everything changed. This 8 inch sub seems like a 12inch sub (ONLY COMPARING SIZE) from subway or port a subs. The bread is wide. The medium sub and chips was 2 meals for me and I was overly full both times. You do pay a little more than port a subs or subway but the quality is way better. If you are in a hurry, do not come here near lunch time. Maybe placing an order for pick up is best for those in a hurry. They are popular so wait times can be a while during peak hours. (like lunch) I would say this place is worth checking out. I plan to go back again and try a few other things. Today they had clam chowder as the soup......I was so close to ordering that too. I am happy I didn't!
