Broccoli cheddar soup in bread bowl Lime hibiscus juice
Jennifer W.

I was so hungry for lunch today and this totally hit the spot. I have not had the broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl for quite some time and it didn't disappoint, other than I wish there was more! The tea/juice was my sons pick. Definitely something I wouldn't typically pick but it was surprisingly good. I would like to try the blood orange one next time.

A very disappointing sandwich. No avocado or lettuce! I ordered a turkey avocado BLT.

Worst sandwich that I have ever had. Ordered a turkey avocado BLT. The sandwich was delivered with nothing but turkey a slice of bacon and a tomato. Where was the avocado and lettuce and a condiment.

Pretty good experience today at Panera on Clairton Blvd. After an exhausting day Christmas prep shopping, we stopped here for a quick, warm meal. We got our order fast, the tables were clean (mostly), and there was someone keeping the dining area straightened up. I got the you pick 2 turkey bacon bravo and autumn squash soup. This probably my favorite cold weather combination at Panera. It tasted great and hit the spot!!

I feel like this review could be summed up in 2 words. Good/overpriced. I feel like I could end this review there but I'll elaborate a bit more. I have never had a bad meal from Panera. I love the fresh baked goods, the sandwiches and the soups put it over the top. I also enjoy the drink selection. My favorite is serve yourself iced coffee with 2 sugars and half and half. I could drink this all day. The acia berry tea is also very good. I still want to try the broth bowels but I have heard good things. Now the negative. I feel that the prices are pretty high. It's a glorified sandwich shop. I get that all the ingredients are suppose to be fresh but it's a sandwich. Why does it cost $8!?!? That said I'll still be back. If not for the food for the serve yourself iced coffee a muffin and a good book.

The food was delicious and I highly recommend the gyro special! One thing to note-the title here in Yelp is incorrect. It should be Gali's Gyro & Grill not Galis Gilo Grill

So, please forgive me for being negative. The prices were way too high for what we experienced. If you read my other reviews, I will be honest and say that something is pricey, but worth it. What I had on our visit just wasn't worth the money. I have heard so many good things from other people, (and I will say people I trust!) and I just don't get it. We went for lunch, as I said, our experience was NOT commensurate with anything I've read and been told. There are other places to get a good gyro that are way better. The wedding soup wasn't bad, the dry gyro we had was mediocre to "ok", and, wow-- skip out on the baklava. It was the driest, worst I've ever had. It tasted like it sat in the plastic box for a month before they served it to us. The rice pudding? Tasteless. We were very disappointed. I REALLY hope this was just a bad day for them, and our experience was not a norm. If we ever find our way back there, I will be sure to update.

The P-Bar is my hometown bar, and I have been coming here for longer than I can remember. My…read morefriends and I would come in high school on Thursdays for $1 Burger Nights (no longer around, RIP), and now we come to enjoy some drinks on the patio and hang out. The bar is located in a strip of stores along Old Clairton Road, just off of route 51. There is some parking in the front that is shared with all the other businesses, and then a parking lot across Old Clairton that gets used at night when the businesses that it is for are closed. Additionally, there is a private lot for the bar in the back, and parking at the Bill Green Shopping Center just a little ways down the road (sidewalks from Bill Green to the bar entrance). Due to a fire that occurred here a few years ago, the entire place has recently been remodeled and reoriented from how it was originally. The bar is now in the back, and the main dining room is in the front. There is also a great patio and outdoor space with open air seating, as well as some area under a porch. Everything is new, clean, and modern as a result of the remodel. On this visit, we came to hang out on a Saturday evening. It was raining, so we had to get a table inside. It was karaoke night, as they have each Saturday, so we got to take in the sights and sounds of several performers. Since we were there later in the evening, we just ordered appetizers to much on along with our drinks. I got the Fiesta Street Corn Dip. It was a great value for the price, and there was a ton to go around the whole table. I also sipped on a Summer Shandy from their seasonal draft list. Overall, the food menu has a decent selection, all at very reasonable prices. The draft list did not have any red or brown ales on it, but there was still a fair selection of drinks. The ladies who came around to our table were pleasant and helpful. It was rather crowded, but there would be times we would not see a server for extended periods of time. I do not think it helped that our table was tucked back in a corner, but wish we would have been visited on a somewhat more frequent basis to put additional orders in. I always have a good time at the P-Bar, and enjoy coming here. Especially in the summer, it is an ideal place to hang out and catch up with friends. And likely, if you are from the area, you will run into several people you know. I did not have their breakfast this time, but the breakfast they have on the weekends is worth a try as well!

That was a winner. Crispy outside, moist inside. It was a busy Sunday and they were swamped with catering orders. I was warned that it would take 25 minutes for my order to be ready. No problem because I had other competitors' chicken strips to pickup. My order was ready at the appointed time. Atmosphere is a busy deli. All food, hot & cold, is ordered from the front counter. Meat, cheeses, salads, desserts by the pound. Create your own ala carte meal or deli meats to take home. There is a dining room where your prepared food is delivered to your numbered table. I will return to eat in next time.

The bun was way too big and rock hard stale....the fish was overcooked and tasteless, no amount of lousy Kraft Tartar/Tabasco/Vinegar could save it. Fresh cut fries, which I had high hopes for were dry, bland and overcooked as well. Dining partners weren't too thrilled with their meals as well (Cajun Chicken, boring soup and salad)... I've been to Frisch's a few times, never anything special, but this was the worst. Dining room atmosphere is lifeless... After thinking about it my 2 stars is probably a bit generous...

The dining area is roomy and bright some spots are a bit too close especially along a knee wall. That separates the bar tables from the dining room. It's noisy from conversations so be prepared to say what? 1400 times. The service was excellent, the hostess seats you quickly and checked if the table was okay. Our waitress was very nice and super helpful. They certainly have a good staff. The food was very good. It's surprising how hard it was to find a good home style meal in this area. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mushrooms gravy. Very comforting and an ample portion. My coworker had the crab and shrimp enchiladas and he seems to really enjoy it.
