Sent food back with the server...she disappeared and never returned. Finally my bf had to go up to counter...30 minutes after order we finally get food. My egg was clearly microwaved and tasted horrible. I went to order soup but again, same slow cold employee tryinv to help 3 customers and since i have cash i can't use the "self service kiosk" so wth? We left. This is a review on service, not food quality. I hate to leave this review, but unfortunately, this Panera has messed up my order too many times to not share. I always use the app to place my order. (You'd think this would make it easier to not mess up an order, but no.) I own a business with my husband, and we like to treat our employees every week with donuts, bagels, things like that. I have tried multiple times to order Panera's breakfast souffles (they are seriously really tasty) but every time I do, they either have to cancel the order, or I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes after my requested pick up time to get it. Get your act together Panera management. I always order ahead on the app with plenty of time to ensure your staff has time to get it ready, even if they have to cook more. Why is my order never ready on time? Today, I set up my order to be picked up at 8:55am. I placed the order at 8:20am. When I walked in to the Rapid Pickup, no order. I asked the gentleman behind the counter, he said he didn't have an order for me. I pulled up my order on the app and he then was able to "find" my order. He said they did not have enough souffles for my order, and they currently had some in the oven. It would take ten minutes before they were ready. So I asked him to put them on the Rapid Pickup shelf when they are ready and I would go wait in my car. I came back in in 10 minutes..... No order. The original guy wasn't to be found, so another employee asked me if I needed help, and I told him I was waiting for my severely late Rapid Pickup order to be ready. He ran, literally, to get them put in a bag for me, and offered me a free pastry. He was nice, friendly, and he tried. But by this point, I was done. I informed him I have had multiple problems with ordering for them, and that I often get treats for my employees, and that I would not be using Panera anymore to get anything for my staff. I know Panera will not go under because I won't order from them anymore for any food or treats we will get for our staff, but if they treat me this way, who else do they treat like this? I've stopped by here several times with coworkers. I never really paid much attention to Panera until recently, when I got a gift certificate for this place. I was famished the other day, and decided to stop by and see what they offer. The convenient thing about this place is that it's a straight shoot on the freeway from my work place, but taking the streets is usually faster during rush hour. There is ample parking here, as it is located in a large shopping plaza. The times I've been in here to buy food was not too packed, but I can imagine it does get pretty busy in the evening and on weekends. My favorite item in this place is their turkey and apple panini. This item first caught my attention as I was looking at their many sandwich options. This item sat at the very top of the menu, so I decided to give it a shot. It proved to be a good choice. For a pick-me-up, I ordered a mocha latte. I forgot to tell them to make it iced, but the hot version was still plenty delicious. It provided a good kick of energy, which came in useful as I am studying most of winter break. Both the staff and the patrons were pretty cool. I will be back here to try their other items. Four of us arrived here for lunch after a morning meeting with our largest client. We wanted speed (not the drug),decent food, and FREE Wi-Fi. We also prayed for no headaches finding a parking spot or booth for 4, even during the heaviest lunch period on a Friday. A tall order, but this Panera Bread, did the trick. This is located in a busy shopping and business district, so that's the kind of clientele you'll see here along with families and retirees. The noise level is moderately loud, but while there was a whole lotta baby hugging going on in one table, other tables had poker faced suited people doing business deals and having meetings. . We business colleagues ordered four different salads, Maria Samba had the Fuji apple salad with greens; and since she is a frequent customer got a free dessert. I had the half chicken salad sandwich and chicken romaine tomato salad. Very good combo. I would've preferred their potato soup but it wasn't available here today. Ruth had the steak salad, and Alex had some kind of shrimp salad. We each ordered the self serve sodas because on a hot day, we love the unlimited drinks. Overall, we liked our meals, and I couldn't get any feedback from them on the food because their mouths were busy munching (i.e. "don't bug me, I'm eating foo!"). I was being totally ignored and getting ready to take a pic. But Maria Samba gave me the look that I would be mashed potato soup if I took a picture of her with her mouth open. So no pics today. The bus persons didn't clear our tables at all, so I brought the plates and bowls up to the trash. The bus persons said, "Thanks" but at other Panera's, service was a lot faster. It was 7:36 p.m. when I waited in line that was out the door. I immediately had a negative perspective of this restaurant. There was litter on the floor in various spots. There were dirty dishes on multiple tables. I'm of the opinion that you can judge how well a restaurant is managed based on the restrooms. The restroom was filthy with trash all over the floor. It was out of paper towels, and the trash can was completely full. In mitigation, the food came out expeditiously, and the guy who brought my salad out was very courteous. So I came here yesterday for the first time ever trying Panera Bread. They are located right next to Island Burgers and share a parking lot with a few other establishments. I ordered a Frontega Chicken Panini and a cup of Broccoli Cheddar. It was soooo delicious!!! I highly recommend those two until I become obsessed with something else there. The Frontega Chicken Panini was on Focaccia bread. Nice and a toasty crunch on the outside with a soft center. The chicken was so juicy. It was like chunks of mouth watering rotisserie chicken pieces, then slices of red tomatoes and red onions. There was some chopped basil and gooey melted mozzarella cheese. The chipotle mayo was perfect in that sandwich. My mouth is legit watering right now as I write this review. LOL The cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup was really delicious as well. We should have opened each and every container and unwrapped whatever was in the bag while we were still there, but we put too much trust in them. When we arrived to my place to eat, we were quite disappointed. Never got my panini. I ordered the turkey avocado one, and paying close to $9 for a sandwich, I expected close to Mendocino Farms quality, but I got something close to a pre-prepared sandwich. It wasn't a panini, as I requested. It was just on a couple small slices of untoasted sourdough bread. It probably came from those pieces that was close to the end of the loaf. Bread did not taste fresh either. THey just have bread lying around (we peeked while they were preparing the foods). The ingredients inside the sandwich were okay at best. It didn't taste super fresh. Might as well went to Subway, where i can get a larger, cheaper, tastier sandwich. My friends' food looked better though. The soup came in a small container, which was expected. The half sandwich was rather small, but she didn't have as many complaints that I had. I usually like Panera's - they always have a ton of seating and always have free wireless, this location is pretty standard except for the great view of the foothills from the patio. I like their "Pick Two" option where you get half a sandwich and can choose a salad or soup to go with it, my fave is chicken salad and the garden vegetable soup. Beats fast food for sure.. and they are usually pretty fast. Gets way busy during peak lunch hours for the working peeps. I eat at odd hours so I never have to worry about it :) read more

You pick two! I love getting their half salads and half sandwiches or their cup of soup and half salads. In comparison to Corner Bakery, it is definitely not as heavy and flavorful. Portions are on the smaller side, similar to that of Corner Bakery, but I would say that Panera Bread provides the better value. If you are coming to use their internet, there is a 30 min limit which sucks. I always opt for their Greek Salad, perfectly balanced with its ingredients. More cinnamon then coffee flavor. Bear Claw - $2.69 - Cakey and topped off with glaze and almonds. Inside was filled with brown sugar. Pecan Roll - $2.69 - Roll was pretty dense and heavy. Pecans and syrup were a nice topping. Brownie - $2.69 - Very fudgey and thick. Good deep chocolate flavor. Bagels, half dozen - $6.25 - Whole Grain bagel was better then the Sprout Grain. The egg breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta bread are delicious, but they stop serving breakfast at 11am. For any and all other times of the day, you can order a whole sandwich or panini, soup, or salad if you're feeling like eating more of a single menu item, but the You Pick Two combo option is great because you get half a sandwich or panini (my favorites here!) and a soup or salad, or two of each. And however you pair it, your meal comes out to be just under $11 ($7.29 to 9.49 separately). Fountain drinks and iced teas are $2.19 with unlimited refills (iced or hot lattes are $3.49 to 3.99). TIP: if you're getting chips for your side, go for the baked potato chips instead of regular ones because they are so much tastier and less oiler. I frequent this Panera because of its spacious seating, with fast free wifi and several power outlets in case I have work or studying to do. They recently added automated kiosks at the entrance so you don't have to wait in line to order - and seeing my customization options also allowed me to discover new substitutes for my bread and sides - although sometimes it's still faster to speak to a cashier when you're the only one placing an order. After you order, you take your buzzer to any table and they'll bring out the food for you. Friendly is super friendly, and the coffee and drink fountain machine is always stocked for unlimited drink refills, condiments, and utensils. This is my first time ever in Panera Bread, which I find amazing, in that people can order meals electronically without having to go through a cashier. My feeling of the restaurant is that it's clean and well kept, especially after taking over the former International House of Pancakes. There's a large dining room and outdoor patio for dining on days like this, and if you do use a cashier, they are friendly and well versed in their menu selections. I just came for their poppy seed dressing as a honey-do order, but did appreciate the surroundings enough to want to come back and dine here. read more

The Chai Tea Latte ($3.79 ) is heavy on the chai tea flavor, but lacks any richness. The muffins (~$2) are small and a bit too dense for my liking, the Cobblestone (~$2.60) --though it looks amazing -- was overly sweet and wasn't much more than a one-note sweet, sticky pastry. The scones (~$2.60) are okay though, I must admit. The salads are decent, but nothing I can't find elsewhere. Ambiance: (3/5) This particular Panera location runs on the larger side, and retains much of the usual contemporary, casual theme that is Panera. Nothing special. Though some may like the way they section off their space with dividers, half walls, and various types of seating (square and round booths, 4 or 2 people tables, indoor and outdoor, and a long conference table), I find it a bit dizzying and clunky. You'll get a wide range of people here; more seniors in the morning and then more working folk and families as the day goes on. It gets pretty busy around lunch times, but other than that it's pretty calm. Their wifi is free and unlimited; except during the hours of 11:30am to 1:30 and again from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm when your usage is limited to 30 minutes. If you're studying, I recommend this portioned off area in the back --that's where I go :) Location: (4/5) One good thing about this location is its easily accessible (right by the 210 Fwy) and close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and more. Parking is plentiful as the lot stretches all around. If there are no spot in the front, keep driving towards the back and there's plenty more parking there. Service: (3/5) The people here are satisfactorily friendly, though they don't go out of the way for you. Also, they seem to mess up orders quite a bit. I've seen a couple instances of soup/salad & sandwich combos getting mixed up. Just FYI, you order when you come in at the cashier. If you ordered a drink requiring some concocting, you usually wait in the area next to the cashier for it. If you ordered dine-in food, you'll get a number that you stick into the apparatus at your table so that Panera staff deliver your food to you. Overall: (2.5/5) Sadly, there's no spark for me here. Nice and casual dining that doesn't break the bank. It's easy to go to for after-workout meals since it's so close to LA Fitness. This is one of the better Panera locations. I dig the self-serve kiosks because there's a lot of ways to special order your meals and get it the exact way you want it without getting a blank stare from a cashier who probably doesn't care if you don't want croutons or need extra combo sauce. The regular hostess who brings the food and cleans tables is super friendly and always remembers us when we come here so it takes away from the corporate coldness that chain restaurants often have. She's a big plus for this location. There's been some times when they've gotten our orders wrong, but they're quick to fix it. Overall, a solid location for a quick casual meal that's healthier than typical fast food. And plenty of easy parking. read more

So I came here with my Mom for lunch on a Sunday. Place was PACKED with people, families, study groups, and couples alike. There is tons of seating both inside and outside, and we managed to find an empty booth that just needed to be bussed (which a staff member did graciously and quickly for us). Despite the amount of people, the noise level wasn't bad at all. My mom and I had a pretty lively conversation and didn't have to lean over the table to hear each other. And even though the place was busy, we didn't have to wait very long to order. This time I got the chipotle chicken panini. IT WAS SO GOOD. I can't describe how perfectly spicy and flavorful the chipotle sauce was. Sometimes with spicy sauces, you tend to lose the flavor in favor of hotness, but I have to say I was a super fan of this panini. All in all good experience. Parking is a bit difficult though considering there are other restaurants in the same area. read more
