Something is seriously wrong with the general manager here. Every time I come in and she's there i see her stressing out her employees or being really snarky and snappy to customers. I feel bad for the people that work there because they look traumatized. She always acts hyper annoyed and condescending to everybody all the time. I've only personally interacted with her twice but both times were very unpleasant. I'm not sure if I've ever seen someone in the food service industry who is constantly being miserable like this. First complaint- the shrinkflation is getting out of hand. $9. Plus for a tiny cup of soup and very small bread bowl. Soup had almost no noodles and chicken. Also, nobody at the counter. Kiosk to order. As if I want to go through your whole menu. And don't give me the "it's for my convenience ". Having someone greet me at the counter and take my order is convenient. Walked in with my teammates to order, there's hardly anyone in the Panera because it's 10am. The lady at the register immediately freaks out and asks if we ordered ahead because there's so many of us (there's 10 of us). She proceeded to act extremely annoyed as each of us ordered. She also completely embarrassed one of my teammates whose first language isn't English, as she asked for a turkey sandwich and the lady scoffed loudly saying they don't serve turkey sandwiches for breakfast and she needs to clarify which turkey sandwich she wants because she has no idea what she's talking about. It was extremely demeaning the way she spoke to her and so instead of ordering what else she wanted my teammate walked away. On the bright side, the food came out very quickly and was all correct. This is a first for me in witnessing a chain restaurant with its owners/managers working and doing the grunt work. My wife and I ordered the egg sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich recently. Not only was the wait to long after ordering , it was inedible. Absolutely horrible. We both threw our sandwiches away and left. Also it is certainly the right of the business owner to require masks to be worn but in May of 2021 it has been proven pointless and absurd to do so. How is it okay to be seated without masks and everyone be considered safe while those standing to be deemed a threat? We will not ever return to this place. I love this place. I have been to many Panera outlets; I like all of them, but the one in Oxford, MS more than many others. I go there at least once a week and stay for some time, often hours. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and laid back, the food consistently very good and the prices very reasonable. Except for certain times (like Sundays at lunchtime) it is not too crowded and you can relax. Usually someone brings you your food to the table, which is not the case for some other Panera outlets. The only thing they could do better is their coffee, which is just ok--but that's not the main reason why I go to Panera. read more

I love panera, the chain. I eat at the one in my hometown all of the time, and have never had anything but exceptional service/ food quality. But at this panera, I have gotten extremely burnt food multiple times, and the portions seems to be smaller. I stopped eating at this location for a few months just because of this, but I think I've figured out that the problem is with the paninis. A friend who worked at a panera told me that all of the items are made to order except for the paninis, which are just taken out of a package and stuck in a little toaster oven. I stopped ordering paninis here (which were always stale and burnt) and have had much better experiences. TLDR- don't order a panini. It will be burnt. read more

My friend came here to get the new cheddar and broccoli Mac and cheese to help herself feel better after missing her grandma's funeral (she's in MS for college but her family is in PA) not only was she given the wrong food but when she went back to get it fixed she was treated extremely disrespectfully to the point of crying to the supervisor about the issue.
