Something like a three from me. Honestly, I never really feel Panera is a good value proposition. I spent $30 bucks for the two of us and left hungry. I got half a small sandwich and a cup of soup. You know, they were out of a lot of stuff too. Thought it was odd you could get a side of mac and cheese but you couldn't order it as a meal. And that whole rapid ordering system was really confusing. ...the kids working there we're dumbfounded too when I got a text the food was ready but wasn't. I have given this place so many chances, only because Panera has pretty good. However, they have the slowest drive thru service everrrrrr... it's a little overpriced for what you get, which I don't mind if you get my order correct. Today, 05/29/2023, was the last straw, I made a DoorDash order so I paid a premium for my order, see photo of receipt. Part of my order was 6 bagels, tub of cream cheese, and a tub chive onion smear. The receipt has boxes to check off to insure the items are bagged, of course they didn't use their own system to insure order accuracy and I didn't receive my cream cheese or chive onion smear... now I have a six pack of bagels that are basically worthless. I'm done with the Niceville Panera location. Of course I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears, as I can see they never respond to any reviews. Update: so I followed the instructions on the bottom of the receipt and called the speak with the manager, Jessica. She politely apologized, and said she would pass along because order accuracy is important. She never offered to make it right or correct the order, and then said if there's ever anything she can help me with in the future let her know. I politely told her that there will not be a next time. Not sure what your corporate policy is. Too bad it isn't correcting the issue and actually offering a solution. read more

Today was my first time visiting this location. We just moved here. I live about 15 minutes away. Pretty dumbfounded that my order was missing bagels, I called and they said they would replace them. Drove back 15 minutes and they didn't even put the bagels aside for me when I called so I wasted trip to not have my order fixed. Relative to other fast food joints, I would give this a 4-star review. Despite having to wait a little longer in the car line sometimes, this location is good about giving you a heads up if you have a promo to apply to an order, and makes the items well. I recently placed a large order for takeout to serve ten people and was very pleased with the follow through of the order. I called ahead to make sure they were good to go on my order and it was clear they had already paced themselves to have everything ready and in stock. The manager took the extra step to put each person's order in their own bag with their name on it, included silverware and napkins in each bag, etc. so it would all be together for each person. It was so nice to be able to just grab a bag and hand it out to each person at our meeting, knowing everything was included. read more

My daughter talked me into getting something from the store in Niceville and I ordered a chicken salad with almonds sandwich and it was not good. Plus the crust was so rubbery that I couldn't even eat it because it felt like it was going to break my teeth. Ta boot for a $10 sandwich there wasn't but two small teaspoons NOT heaping spoon fulls of chicken. Then my medium ice tea was not even filled up it was a good inch from the top. The drive through literally always makes the food wrong. I'm the last like six times, something was always missing. Dressing. Baguette. Frizzled onions on the bbq salad. Something. Always. Missing. Whoever fills the dressing cups fills them like 1/3 of the way, so make sure to ask for extra. Always check your food because it's likely wrong, and if you drive all the way home before inspecting all the items, you're kind of screwed. Also, the wait is always long. Granted, they're probably understaffed just like everywhere else. However, this is no excuse to continuously make food incorrectly. Panera Bread is such a classic for wanting something super healthy and a well balanced meal. I had chose the pick 2 combo, half of a Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich and a cup of the Ten Vegetable soup. It came with a side of bread, and all of this was perfect! I also got tea as my drink, and they have a wonderful selection of cold teas. I love that they are sweetened with healthier versions of sweetener or you can get lightly or unsweetened as well. Came through the drive through today and was handed my order which was correct. My concerns are that the woman that handed me my order had a surgical mask on but it was hanging on her bottom lip so basically her mouth and nose were completely exposed. She was not wearing gloves either which was additionally concerning. People who wear masks incorrectly are even more alarming then not wearing any mask at all because they will frequently touch their masks with their bare hands to adjust them especially if they find them annoying and don't want to wear them in the first place. : ( read more

This Panera just opened February 2016 I believe so the staff is clearly new and they're working out some of the kinks. Otherwise it's your standard Panera...which I generally like because they have a large variety of options with varying levels of healthiness depending on your eating habits. I've never had a Panera meal I disliked. I was most excited about this Panera opening by my house so that I could utilize the "bakery" aspect. I'd been getting most of my fresh bread from Publix behind Panera so was hoping for some variety. They have variety but the prices are a lot higher so I think I'll still get most of my breads from Publix sadly. read more

Holy cow Panera is so expensive for having to warm your own food and subpar service. Sunday morning 0800 staff was not at all friendly except for the lady who made my expresso shot she wished me a good day with a genuine smile. They didn't have creamer out so I search for it and finally went up to the front and asked. The lady brought it out said "here you go honey" but she slammed those down yes I heard lol I'm sorry you guys have to work on a Sunday but I'm a easy nice customer y'all don't have to be so mean. Especially the younger chick with monotone and monoface, they should hire people with customer service experience. I bought cream cheese and asked for a toasted bagel; the bagel isn't toasted and they forgot my cream cheese. Went a couple nights ago to grab a "quick" dinner. 15 minutes later my food was ready. Except it was nothing like I was expecting. My half soup half sandwich was around 12 bucks and I got a sandwich with the wrong bread and made with the amount of meat for half a sandwich but with the full pieces of bread. It was awful.
