Depends on who is making your sub. One guy with glasses gave me an outstanding sub, that was very filling with both the meat and vegetables. Went a week later and the sub was lower class than subway by the high school. The person making the sub looked so dirty, unshaven, dirty shirt, greasy hands and sweating profusely. Disgusting !!! Pretty bad when Subway looks more appealing and gives more meat for a dollar sub compared to a 9 dollar, not a footlong !!! read more

I had not eaten here in several years. It was good to be reminded that there is a place that you can eat at where the food is good and the establishment is clean. Update: Went with the curbside pick up option. HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered for a noon pick up. I showed a few minutes early and waited to call them until noon. I was told it would be right out. Nearly 25 minutes later I call asking if they had forgot about me. The young lady that answered smartly with "well ya know there is a number on the window in front of your car that you are supposed to call when you arrive!" I informed her that I called it...25 minutes ago! She hung up the phone on me and a nice young man delivered my sub. The Italian sub was delicious by the way!! read more

This was great for a fast food place. Hubby and I stopped in (never having been to one before) and the workers were friendly and patient with us while ordering. Ordered online while in Crestview on the way to Niceville to cap off a 6 hour drive. Arrived about 15-20 mins later without the order ready to go. No big deal...however, a child asked his mom behind the counter to make him a sandwich. Which she did immediately while paying customers were waiting for their orders to be finished. So after waiting about another 15 mins at the store our order was fulfilled. In addition, I don't think the fully made sandwich goes on the steamer (not my order). But hey, maybe someone requested soggy bread. This occurred (12 June, 6:00pm) with 3 workers on staff and only one other customer in the restaurant. I've been to this Firehouse many times and we enjoy the food (even this time) but this kind of service means I'm going over to Jersey Mike's instead. read more

Employee was outside smoking when we arrived and she was close to the door. There were a lot of employees at work but they were too busy talking to each other. Sandwich was made with mayo on it after we ordered it on the side. Seemed dirty Inside the restaurant and table wobbled really bad. Do not go here. read more

Although we love the actual sandwiches today's experience was horrendous. We waited 40 minutes for 2 sub sandwiches to be made. People who were making the sandwiches we're disorganized and inefficient. Customers were getting up to leave and getting their money back. The person in front of me had been waiting an hour for her order. Not sure if people that work there need more training on teamwork and efficiency but we will not likely return to this location for a very long time until things get fixed. So disappointed in today's experience. Oh and when we got home discovered that they got our order wrong. read more

Never order ahead. I went to pick up my order and watched six subs being made for people who were in line that I let's skip me because I assumed my order was ready sense they told me 25-30 min. Mind you this is 35 minutes after I had placed my order. They hadn't even started making my food and ran out of bread. Came in for my free sandwich, this was my first time at any Firehouse so I decided to try the Italian since you can't really go wrong with an Italian sub. It was delicious, the sandwich was huge and the meats were delicious and seemed fresh enough. The Italian dressing was a little heavy on one side making the sandwich a bit soggy and messy on that half but no big deal. Much better than Subway, it's a little pricey but it's good. read more

Great subs and Great staff. Sandwich artisan was friendly, funny and accurate. Got the classic philly and it was delish. The bread here is soft and perfectly chewy. We have tried this Firehouse many times. We have the rewards app and this store sometimes does not seem to know how to give you the free items. Another problem is if you place your order online either they make it immediately and it is total mush and cold when you pick it up because it has been sitting for so long. However the other half of the time it is not ready and you must sit and wait while they make your order even though they give they the exact time the order will be ready. I just think they need some help working on getting trained and making things work better there. I can get a much cheaper sandwich down the street and I can have it made on time. read more

If you want a real sandwich and not just bread with some meat, come get a firehouse sub. One key aspect about firehouse is the warm meat. They have cold meat sandwiches too, but sandwiches like the steamer and italian are way better warm. They also have the super cool coke machine with a million flavors...woohoo Other sandwich shops don't compare to the firehouse. read more

My company used Firehouse Subs for a meeting and we were so disappointed. They only gave us half our order causing us to have to drive back to the location for the rest of the order. We asked for an assortment of chips and cookies but all we got were a bunch of plain potato chips and chocolate chip cookies. No variety at all. The sandwiches were decent at least. There is enough sub shops around here to not have to come back again. read more

Worst service ever. Took 20 minutes to get our subs and there were only two people in front of us. Both subs were made incorrectly so we waited another 10 minutes, then had to take them back up to have them cut in half. Meat slicer was full of old meat shavings. DISGUSTING! Luckily we had hot subs, so our meat did not touch the meat slicer. Every table was filthy and it was 4:00, so it's not like they just had a rush. Subs were good, as usual, but with service like that, business is going to suffer. read more

But what really sets this location apart is the extremely friendly staff. One thing I've noticed at most Firehouse locations is that the staff are either unfriendly or just not enthusiastic about their jobs. That is not the case here! Firehouse has become a disappointment. Two nights ago (90 min till closing) went in to order and an employee behind the counter had his hands in the garbage can ( I'm guessing to take out the garbage) but stopped and proceeded to prepare our sandwiches WITHOUT washing his hands. He just grabbed some gloves to put on (which is bad enough) but then proceeded to move a dirty broom and dustpan out of his way with the same gloves on that was going to use to make the sandwiches. C'mon that's just gross, so we left. Seems management and training is lacking. I will be skipping this place and hit Lenny's. read more

Came in during a rush. Got my order taken almost immediately. The team worked together very well and handled the rush very well. I was impressed. As an assistant manager of a restaurant that gets pretty busy, I was super impressed at how the team handled it. Although my sandwich was messed up, the manager remade it for me very quickly and it was delicious and the customer service is fantastic. read more

Food is very good. Try the fire sauce. Yum! The brownies are also really delicious. I prefer these sandwiches over most other fast food options. The grilled onions and peppers really make the sandwich so tasty. I have them make a vegetarian sandwich with no cheese so it is really nice to have the extra flavor. read more

Awful overall... My family has eaten here twice. On the first visit, they managed to get every sandwich on our order incorrect. On the second visit, it took 20 minutes after ordering to get 2 sandwiches. Food is average and definitely not worth the headache or wait time. Just settle for Subway. read more
