They were honest that Saturday morning would be very busy, but they still set cupcakes aside just for our family. When we arrived with the envelope, Hailey and Jasmine were genuinely excited to help and made the whole experience feel special. They even enjoyed sharing in the surprise with us! The desserts were absolutely delicious--the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes in a cup were amazing, and the pineapple flavor was fantastic as well. And great ambience! Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile made our gender reveal unforgettable. I highly recommend Small Cakes, whether you're planning a special event or simply looking for outstanding desserts!

Crafting space, little meeting spots, this is truly a little home spot for the locals and even visitors. I got the s'more's special coffee for July and honestly I was disappointed, for a medium roast for the shots I was disappointed. The gluten free Brownie was mine for $3 and honestly I wasn't disappointed. It was really good and soft. My kids even loved it. The staff was super friendly and I would stop back by and try other things next time I'm in. There is plenty of seating and space to snack, chat or just take in a breath of life into your soul. You can make your own, but I just ordered off their favorites menu. Peanut Butter Cup - P.Nutty Italian Ice (Gelato) - Chocolate Soft Ice Cream - Hershey's® Mini Chocolate Chips RECOMMENDED SUB: Ok, full disclosure. My return trip, I opted for cookie butter crumbles instead of the mini chocolate chips. The mini chocolate chips were so plentiful, it was a bit too much for me. But the cookie butter crumble was the perfect layered add-on. And to return the favor, if you're ever in the Sacramento area, stop by Guther's Ice Cream and order a 50/50. It's a fruit freeze layered with vanilla ice cream. Need some incentive ... Gunther's has been around since 1940. Or stop by Davis, CA and order a real fruit freeze at Ikeda's California County Market. SIZING: You can order by cup or cone with sizes ranging from "tadpole" to "bullfrog." My photo is the medium. BOTTOM LINE: If you love a subtly sweet chocolate and a mild peanut butter, you'll really enjoy this.
