I've been to this Panera several times since it's opening and my food has always been hot, fresh, and prompt. The staff is very friendly and suggest other items when what I want is unavailable. The only thing I will can say that is not positive but it's mainly due to customers, is when they are extremely busy the inside of the restaurant looks dirty because customers let their kids drop all kinds of stuff on the floor and don't even bother to pick up the big crap. Went a couple nights ago to grab a "quick" dinner. 15 minutes later my food was ready. Except it was nothing like I was expecting. My half soup half sandwich was around 12 bucks and I got a sandwich with the wrong bread and made with the amount of meat for half a sandwich but with the full pieces of bread. It was awful. We have eaten here before and it wasn't that great. Tonight, 15 minutes in the drive thru before even placing an order, and over 20 minutes to get the food. Once we got the food, my wife looked to make sure our order was complete. My sandwich (The Italian) was thrown in the container, the top of the sandwich ending up in the bottom of the bag. The cheese on my hot sandwich was nasty, old and chewy. The meat, hard, and crunchy, reminded me of beef jerky. Needless to say, horrible service, horrible food, and WAY over priced. Last time we went there, I had a four cheese grilled cheese. My 11 year old makes a better grilled cheese. If you like Panera Bread, pass this location by. If you like good food, that tastes good, pass this by. If you don't want to spend a ton of money, pass this by. I will never eat at a Panera Bread again. read more

Have had to throw out my takeout order for the third time... tastes terrible here and I love Panera elsewhere!

Stopped going to this location for 4-5 months due to the consistently poor service and messed up orders (both drive-through and rapid pick- up). We used to go weekly but it was always frustrating and not worth it. Placed a rapid pick-up order tonight - big mistake. Got the wrong order *again* after waiting a full 20 min for a "rapid pick-up" order (would be hilarious if it wasn't so frustrating watching everyone order and leave before us). The manager did not offer to make it right when told about the frequent disappointments at this location, or try to keep our business; simply asked, "Does this seem to always happen on a weeknight?" Like they already know they have a problem but aren't doing anything about it. Will never go back to this location. The hot food was lukewarm. As an aside, they were out of chips. CHIPS. No, I don't want a baguette with my sandwich made of bread. Have tried calling to speak to the manager only to have the phone ring until disconnected - on more than one occasion. Customer service is low priority here. However, have had consistently great service at the Mary Esther location and would go there again. read more

I ordered a Fuji chicken salad to go tonight, get home and find a small Greek type salad? It took forever to get the food and then they get it wrong. Not going back! Adding to the above post, I tried to call the manager last night and today to give my complaint and an opportunity for him to fix it. Both times I called the phone number and hit #5 for "manager", both times it rang and then disconnected. Lol, well I guess that's the easy way of not dealing with problems. I've been here 3 times. Twice through drive through and once inside. Inside they don't have any salt and pepper anywhere, they didn't offer to heat up my pastry, and the sandwich bread was so hard my mouth was getting cut up. Going through the drive through I ordered my favorite salad "Greek Goddess Codd" (weird salad name, I know) and they didn't put the hard boiled egg in it. Huge disappointment because I love that part. They had the food prepared TOO fast and it worried me and that's why they forgot an ingredient. They are lacking in attention to detail. read more

Awful. Waited 15 minutes in drive through behind 1 customer for a bagel that was meant to be toasted. Bagel was cold and not toasted. Didn't even waste my time trying to get it fixed. Would give negative stars If I could. read more

Ate lunch here on Monday. French onion soup was barely warm. Spoke with the manager and she returned with piping hot soup! Sandwich was good, turkey! A little overpriced for what you get we thought! Now they have a self ordering kiosk to speed up ordering. read more

Worst Panera I have been to. I stopped ordering from them because the order would be wrong every time. I decided after a year that perhaps service had improved but nope, first order since giving them another shot was wrong. Manager didn't seem to care too much. I think it's easy to see where the problems lie. Then after another six months my kids decided they wanted bagels so we went through the drive thru and they were out of most bagels. We left and went to Dunkin Donuts. Never again. Horrible management! read more

Visited Panera at 8:20 pm Wednesday had soup, pastry and coffee. Server person behind counter was super. Food was ok - coffee was limited to one flavor. Clean up for a 9:00 pm closing already in process. No crackers for soup. read more

NEVER ever have bacon and spinach souffles, even the time I went at 730am. Not sure why they even have them on the menu or don't make more if they are selling out. I'm sure there are other things on the menu that I could order and maybe just bad timing on my part but just principle now I guess. They always mess up my order. I get the Napa almond chicken salad sandwich. This comes with the chicken salad, bread, lettuce, and tomato. Every time I ask for no tomato and every time I get no lettuce and a tomato. It's not that hard to get this correct but every time it is wrong. I have given them about 10 different chances over the past year and it still seems to be incorrect every time. read more

I eat at Panera very frequently. This location has several problems. Although the food is delicious, they tend to mess up orders very, very often. I have to check my order in the car every time I go through the drive thru to make sure that it is correct because so many times it has not been. I have to go back inside and wait for them to fix it, and even sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes to fix something as simple as an oatmeal. read more

My writer's Critique group meets Wednesday evenings at this Panera. The coffee out of the carafe was ice cold and empty after two cups. the staff had a lackadaisical attitude when another gentleman and I asked if they were brewing more. The girl behind the said, "I guess." Later, as we were working, one of the staff brought the vacuum by our table and left it running for over fIve minutes while she disappeared. The negligence displayed by Panera's staff is inexcusable. read more

I have been here three times since it opened and each time my order was wrong. I have dined three different ways- drive-thru, dine-in, and online ordering. My order has never been correct and on one occasion when I paid cash even my change was wrong. The food is standard Panera (which I enjoy), but this is the worst Panera in the area when it comes to accuracy. Double-check your order before you leave the parking lot! read more

I've been here 4 or 5 times since they opened because I LOVE Panera Bread, but each time I've been my order has been wrong--extremely discouraging. One of the times I ordered a full-sized salad (ridiculously overpriced as it is) and the salad barely covered the bottom of the container it was in--maybe 3 or 4 forkfuls of lettuce AND they didn't give me any dressing. So frustrating. I understand this is a new location and they have some things to work out, but it's honestly just unacceptable to not check the order before you hand it to the customer. I will not be returning to this location and will continue driving to the FWB/Destin location if I want Panera! read more
