This is the worst Panera. I still tend to go here each morning to grab breakfast because it is on my way to work and I have points that I use. If not for that, I wouldn't bother to go here. This was my first visit to a Panera. I will add that the staff is helpful and very nice. I give the staff 5 stars. One of the guys went out of his way to get plastic utensils for us, which was very thoughtful. But I'm not happy with the selection of food. Sandwiches and soups pretty sums up their menu. Hmmm.... Where do we begin? The "Panera Experience," is horrid, the food is overpriced , wayyyy too much for what little, bland, badly handled food they provide to "Guests." Microwaved FROZEN PASTA a 15 minute wait( called ahead of time) FROZEN SOUPS ( served cold with frozen lumps) SOGGY, LIMP SALADS(Way under portioned, its a salad for goodness sake) BUY A SODA CUP FOR SELTZER WATER? (SELTZER WATER!) I may be a bit frugal , but a 5.00 child's peanut butter& jelly, I've seen them use Welch's grape jelly (Non-Organic), and some peanut butter with an illustration of a bear(pretty sure non-organic). The horizon milk product, as I like to refer to it as, should not be consumed by any child or adult for that matter, it's a sugar intense, syrupy almost 3.00 carton of drink! Let's just say, because you receive food on a plastic plate( with stained questionable silverware- just stay with plastic), doesn't mean your food will be standard, certainly nowhere above-standard! The last two experiences I had at this Panera was TERRIBLE. About two months ago I went there and I asked the women at the register to make a customized sandwich. She had no problem and repeated my order, she got my entire order correct, I even read the receipt. Once they gave me the sandwich, it had the wrong toppings and the wrong bread. When they brought the sandwich back to the kitchen I had heard this woman complaining saying "These customers need to tell us what they want. I don't want to make this again, I can't stand these customers." This woman was around 19 years old, she looked middle eastern and had light skin (I'm explaining what she looked like because I hope her manager sees this). I clearly told them what I wanted and the cashier got my order right. So this young woman brings my order new order to me and it was wrong AGAIN. Then I kindly ask her to make the sandwich again and CLEARLY repeat the SIMPLE toppings again. So she makes the sandwich and brings it to me... it was wrong AGAIN. I repeat my toppings AGAIN then she FINALLY gives me the sandwich after making it 4 times and rudely says "Is this good enough?" It took all the power in me not to get up and smack this girl across the face. I had to remind myself that I should keep my mouth shut cause if I didn't there would have been a huge problem. I hope this girl doesn't work there anymore and if she does I hope she gets fired, I've worked in restaurants and fast food and I know how you're supposed to treat people. Not only that but I know that it wasn't me bugging cause I saw that my receipt had the exact toppings I wanted. This girl was honestly the dumbest and rudest person I've ever came across. Again if her manager is reading this she is a young woman, around 19-20, she is thin, long brown hair, light skin, looks like she could possibly be middle eastern, and VERY rude. Now lets talk about the last time I went to Panera... So the last time I went to Panera Bread my boyfriend and I had ordered two of the "pick twos". This is all we had ordered, two half sandwiches and two mac and cheeses. It took the workers OVER 30 minutes to make our food. My boyfriend and I were calmly sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting. We saw the people who were behind us in line get there food. We had seen people that walked in after us get their food. So my boyfriend goes and asks the workers where our food is at and they say "Uh it's coming soon". So we keep waiting and waiting, then finally after 32 minutes we get our food. At this moment my boyfriend was angry because usually it only takes ten, maybe 15 minutes to make us our food. So once we get our food my boyfriend asks for the manager and shows him the receipt, my boyfriend says "Look! Thirty minutes for this! Thirty minutes!" Then the manager says "I don't know man I'm just doing my job." I really hope this guy wasn't really the manager because they clearly weren't doing their job right. It doesn't take 30 minutes to make two HALF SIZED sandwiches and two HALF SIZED mac and cheeses. Again I've worked in restaurants and fast food before I know how long things should take and I know when someone isn't doing their job correctly. I've been a manager in fast food and if I was in charge of this Panera I would fire the entire staff and start over. This is the worst Panera Bread I have ever been to. The don't know how to follow simple tasks. I also used to go to this Panera 3 times a week in 2016 and the management was excellent, the food was great, the workers were nice. I try to give this place a change many times. Today was the last time. A single sausage and and cheese took 20 minutes to come out. I thought it would be a good size since it's from Panera but it came out on 2 soggy pieces of thin bread and looks like it has been stepped on. A huge plate for a sandwich the size of my palm. No sides with it either. The guy who gave it to me said i was more than "welcome to complain to the manager" instead of helping me out. Staff is rude, food takes too long and over priced! Food was not bad . I have to be honest. But the customer service is is TERRIFYING at this place. It's like the entire team wants the owner to declare bankruptcy. Sometimes you'd think they are competing to see who can do the worse job. I made the order . The order comes in missing the bread which I earlier asked the cashier to ensure whether or not it came with it, to which he promised it did ( in a intimidating manner I should add ).Also they forgot to put the dressing. When inquired about it, the employee just went bizerk on me because he wanted me to tell him which dressing I wanted. Panera bread salads comes with standard dressings. Once again, the food was good. A good place to have lunch and reminds me of my favorite Atlanta Bread Company that we sadly do not have up here. It was a great lunch, about $20 for two people. I had an OK sandwich, the sauce had too much salt in it and a great Greek salad. My date loved her sandwich and salad. I did not like there iced coffee at all and I wish they listed which menu items were low fat. Found a fly in my salad before. Had the person make my salad give me attitude. But the food is great just terrible service. They usually get my order wrong most of the time but once I correct them the order seems fine and they give a free pastry complimentary if they mess up the order. Since panera is a chain restaurant they usually always taste the same. I can't say that this panera is like the others. When we walked in the girl helping the people in front of us was very rude. She kept yelling at the manager. The manager then came to take our order and was friendly but a little scatter brained. He ended up putting my moms debit card in his pocket but had insisted that he gave it back!! The wait for our food was much longer than normal. When I got my meal, my Cesar salad had barely any dressing and the croutons were stale.. My sandwich was drenched in mustard.. In general, I am a fan of Panera but this location is not like the one on route 4 in Paramus NJ. They keep messing up orders and their drink selection is smaller. No nestea and other soft drink beverages? They always run out of french bread too. What GIVES????? Isn't it baked on site or they should have a higher quantity delivered each day. Give me a break. Don't give me crappy dinner rolls without stating it beforehand. Also they run out of baked good quickly and their paninis seem to have less meat/veggies than some of the other locations even though I know they weigh out portion sizes in bags. I frequent this location a few times a week for breakfast.. the food is always delicious. The problem I find is that when I come in to order, sometimes the only one online or maybe one other customer it is such a long wait. I will stand there sometimes 5 or more minutes just waited for an employee to greet me. They rush around like they are busy. A simple "I'll be with you in a moment" would be nice. I also use the app the pre order for the rapid order, and every time I get there to pick it up it is not on the rapid order shelf. I have to wait on line and ask for it. I thought the point of that service is no wait. And when I tell the staff I am here for it they scramble to put together my order. Pretty disapointing. read more

This place used to be the bell of the ball. You walked in and were met with a sense of freshness. Big cookies, (I don't even like or eat them), breads, friendly faces, and quick service. Today, I bought a POWER Spinich Salad and a Tomato Soup. Since I am a power guy, I didn't opt for the 6.99 soup/salad pick two. I opted for the full price, full Power, full Macked out Daddy Salad and Power Soup and I was excited. So I put my number out out and then I see a huge salad bowl coming my way and a huge soup! Save the soup , it was a huge disappointment. I paid $14 for lunch, and the Power Spinich Salad after I mixed in the dressing was a child-sized portion at best. I though they must have made some sort of mistake. In short, Panera's definition of POWER is hyperbole. One look at the salad made me think in my head, dude, FAST FOOD garbage, dude, this huge bowl with a minisucle salad in it is Panera's way of saying "I give up". Well I'm not that kind of guy, I give up on horses after they break stride, I don't give up on Panera, I don't and we won't. We just won't have it! Here is my message to "Panera, get your act together and don't worry so much about telling me where the water is on the soda fountain after I pay $14 for 6 and a half bacon bits and a dozen leaves of spinach. Panera bread has gone downhill the last couple of years. I remember when it used to be popular back in the day, but now it just sucks. I ordered a frontega chicken sandwich and a French onion soup. the soup literally tasted like water with croutons and little sprinkles of cheese on top. The sandwich did not look appetizing and it tasted like it was made the day before. Even the bread on the side tasted bad, it wasn't fresh and I'm willing to bet it was also made the day before.
