It was our lucky morning. Panera bread in Milford was clean, fully staffed with people including a manager circulating to ensure a smooth operation, and not too crowded which is very unusual. The selection and magnificent display of bakery items was very enticing. There was a chill in the air but we found a nice warm and toasty fireplace to sit next to away from just a few customers and staff eating their breakfast. The bagel selections were fresh, impressive and delicious. The breakfast sandwich was filled with egg whites, Gouda cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and awesome avocado. It was a very healthy combination of flavorful items from all the food groups. My friend was thrilled to enjoy her cold brew prepared to her exact specifications. This is my second time visiting Panera Bread. Both times I stopped in for a coffee and a toasted buttered bagel. Each time the food and coffee exceeded my expectations. Their French Toast, and Cinnamon Crunch bagel's were delicious.They have a wonderful selection of breads, bagels, scones, cookies, muffins, etc. They also have a nice seating area inside with a fireplace, and a nice outside seating area as well. I'm definitely coming back for lunch to try some other great looking items on their menu. read more

I needed to kill some time before a nearby store opened and also needed breakfast. With a new-designed Panera around the corner, i thought it would be a good thing to try out. A breakfast sandwich and coffee was $10, a bit steep for what I got. As far as I could tell, like every other similar restaurant, the bulk of the ingredients are cooked and processed elsewhere. The bun was tasty, however. The staff was friendly and efficient. The store design seems to be geared to running the operation with the least number of employees possible. Every surface has an exhortation to "order ahead" using the "app." Customers are funneled to a window for pick up. Dine in customers competed with the drive thru for a place in the meal prep line. Plenty of seats available. Mostly clean. A warm gas fireplace was inviting. Three stars - OK. read more

Whenever I am on the go and starving, I always seem to gravitate towards Panera for the Green Goddess Cobb Salad w/Chicken. I frequent this Milford location and the service is always friendly and fast! The salads never disappoint and I feel good that I am eating semi-healthy on the go! I don't typically review local fast food establishments that most of us are familiar with but I decided to review Panera today. I absolutely love their rapid pick up option. You select the date, and the time and it's usually ready for you at the time of pick up. I tend to use the app because I actually enjoy Panera, and although I don't go that frequently, I enjoy their reward system when I do. I did the pick any two combination that they offer. There are several options to choose from (and they're customizable). Today I opted for the Greek salad and one of their new rice and quinoa bowls. The Greek salad is always delicious. And although I haven't tried the bowl yet, the preparation looks amazing. Very colorful and hearty. I believe it consists of chicken, rice, quinoa, avocado, tomato and perhaps a Greek yogurt sauce. Their oatmeal cookie is also delicious and it's hard to place an order at Panera without getting one. The restaurant was clean. There is ample parking. I didn't have too much interaction with the staff as it was a pre-order, but they have always had gracious service in the past. No complaints. I was actually full from the salad, but looking forward to having the bowl for dinner. I highly recommend Panera. Very convenient & tasty! read more

One of my all time favorite drive thru's on the Boston post road is Panera Bread! Depending on the time of day, you may wait anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes, but it's worth it! Their menu shifts by season with freshly made staple ingredients featured for a myriad of tastebuds. They have an incredible deal called the "you pick two" where you can grab two half sized orders of sandwiches, soups, or salads paired for the perfect lunch! This is my second bad experience at a Panera Bread location and it once again has left me feeling quite unsettled. My friend and I went through the drive thru and ordered two green smoothies, a pick 2 (tuna salad and a French onion soup) and a pizza. We pulled to the side to wait for our food and when the waitress brought it over, she profusely apologized for the delay and let us know how short staffed they were. We told her it was no issue and thanked her. I decided to open my sandwich and unfortunately, it was sloppily made and there was long dark hair in it. I certainly wasn't going to eat it so I went inside to have it re-made. I walked over to the pick up window and explicitly stated "hey I know you all are busy and short staffed, which I get but there is hair in my sandwich and it was poorly made". Rather than apologize, the manager Moni responds back with, "so do you want us to remake it?" Well obviously Moni because hair is not a condiment that goes with food. She left the sandwich on the counter, begrudgingly turned around and began to make me a new one. The young lady who brought us our food earlier came over to ask me what was wrong and she was so apologetic and repeatedly asked if I needed anything else. She then went to get me a cookie. She was so thoughtful and behaved more like a manager than the actual manager. When my sandwich was done, I asked Moni if she thought I was owed an apology considering she was very dismissive towards me and she said she was going to apologize after I got my sandwich. What sense does that make???! Why wouldn't you try to rectify it when I first brought it to your attention. Sigh. Never again. read more

Like this place a lot, been here many times. I have had an incorrect order one time I think but otherwise I'm happy with this location. I loved the Frontega Chicken sandwich and it was the main reason I came here. Recently they quietly eliminated this sandwich from the menu. I could cry honestly, it was that good. I tried the new chef's chicken sandwich. It's actually very good and the size of the chicken is good. Previously I have also tried the pizzas here, which I highly recommend, they are surprisingly good. Usually use the app but I have never had an issue with the staff here. Recommended. read more

Disappointing visit to the Milford/Orange location on Boston Post Rd. It had been several years since I had been to a Panera. I wanted a pick 2 ham & Swiss on baguette with lettuce & tomato accompanied by a Caesar salad. The order taker indicated they did not offer, but instead unsold me to a toasted ham and Gouda. It is summer and I did not want a hot sandwich. Hard to believe "ham & Swiss" is no longer in the menu. My guest also ordered a pick 2. We both found the baguettes were not up to par. Bread used to be their forte, but no longer. Panera used to offer Metal silver wear, but now you get paper cups for soup and plastic utensils. The booth we first chose was sopping wet, as were the seats. Apparently, they do not train their staff to dry the table and seats. The floors were dirty, apparently cleaned once a day??? Panera also used to have some interesting pastries, but the pastry cases were empty. Overall, the experience was not enjoyable. It will be a long time until I again try a Panera . read more

Decent Panera location. The only concern with this particular Panera is that it is not as clean as other locations are. I arrived before noon today and and there was so much food and garbage underneath booths, meaning they didn't clean like they should (not the first time). The walls have stains on them, the tables are all old looking, and there are cobwebs on the windows. This all really needs to be addressed. read more

I was craving a salad this Sunday and decided to order one from Panera on their website. I'm vegan and was so happy to see that Panera had a page all about vegan options! I followed their advice and ordered a Spicy Thai Chicken Salad with no chicken or wonton strips. I picked up my order 15 minutes later with no problems! My order was sitting on one of the pickup selves and had my name clearly printed on the bag. It was so easy! The salad was delicious! Not too spicy and super flavorful! Customer service is terrible! They had a whole attitude and gave me three side of chicken cold, when they were suppose to heated and in the mac and cheese. They rang the buzzard and when I went to pick up the food they had an attitude because they didn't have it ready. They were the ones that rang the buzzard. Normally love Panera but this location I'll never go back too. Ordered drive thru specifically asked for bread bowls with all the soups and had to repeat myself twice. Got the order home and all soups were in cups no bread bowls. Also asked for chips for all the meals only got one bag. The job of hearing is pretty easy if you actually pay attention to your customers. When you don't care to pay attention to the customer mistakes happen. I will never go there again! read more

Panera seems to have the best coffee around. I've tried their light blonde roast and look forward to trying the other blended roasts. It's a welcoming environment to dine in. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review honestly. I live right near this location and it's so convenient but the past 5-6 times I have gone they have got my order wrong. I don't know why I keep going back but I'm sure today will be my last time. The food items are sloppy and always missing something and as I said before EVERY ORDER is always wrong. Love the hazelnut coffee here! Love the egg souffles too! Lunch items are too bad, I like the combos the best. Ceasar salad and soup is a good combo to try! All in all, you get what you expect! Updating to say this is still the best Panera because of the people. Dave again greeted us with the biggest smile and was so helpful. He went hunting for some chocolate milk but they were all out so you know what he did? He made some for my son. Talk about going out of your way! Then, when they were also out of yogurt, another employee gave my son a fruit cup instead of saying his only options were whole apple or bread. I'll keep coming to this location for the awesome employees who brighten the days of their customers. read more
