They forgot two things I ordered and what I did receive sucked. The salad had Maia Hangul of lettuce and was 80% beans and broccoli Mac and cheese was terrible. The bagels were the only thing in my order that was okay. As far as the Mac and cheese was so mushy it didn't even need to be chewed. Always consistently good, I love the food! But sometimes it just doesn't taste as good as it should. It's weirdly inconsistent sometimes

So, we've been to this Panera location several times (eat-in, carry out, and drive-thru), and we generally tend to enjoy it. BTW, drive-thru Panera is the best invention. Seriously, nothing better than driving through Panera to pick up bagels/cream cheese in your pajamas. Awesome. As for this location, it's on par with most Panera locations, and generally has pretty good & expedient service. They always get the order right, and we've never experienced the "running out" issue from other reviews. Anyways, nothing fancy or special about this location - just good quality Panera and fairly good service. read more

Panera was a "go to" lunch spot when a group of us women wanted a pleasant lunch. It has steadily deteriorated to self serve, with a negative attitude. The help acts disgruntled for the most part. When I requested a sprouted roll with my luncheon on two separate occasions, I was told my only option was a slice of whole grain bread. (The rolls were visible in a bin with other bread selections.). I was willing to pay an up charge for the roll, but was not offered that option. The large bowl of soup is less than half full. Butter is not offered. But, when the sale is rung up, a tip is an option. Overall every visit for the past few years has been disappointing. read more

How have their prices gone up and yet their quality has gone down? I went this morning, and I wish I hadn't. I guess I am mad at myself for spending about $10 on four bites of macaroni and chesse and a mouthful of tea grounds, but I expected better. Panera does not have the room for a mess up like this. I am a loyal customer especially now that my house is under construction(kitchen) and I'm pregnant so I look for healthier fast food options. I have spent so much money here because I come here breakfast lunch and dinner. Their options are not cheap and I can take an order mess up but forgetting to add half of my salad especially when I only ordered a half! What is this?! I paid $7.05 for a couple pieces of spinach? This is the second time this has happened with my half salads. I thought it was packed down until I added the dressing and shook, then come to find out I was able to eat the salad in like 6 bites. Not acceptable at all! I will now be taking my business elsewhere, where I can get an acceptable meal that doesn't leave my tummy still rumbling. read more

This place can not get your order right even when a Manager is overseeing it. Endless amounts of times they mess up my order. 5 times in a row they either forgot something or made the order wrong. We like the Ceasar salad no chicken but substitute it for avocado. Almost every time they will put chicken. I eat vegetarian and it's extremely disappointing when they give you meat, without your knowledge. I've had to throw away salads because of their consistent mistakes. Not to mention it's quite expensive for a salad but very expensive when you don't even get to eat it and literally throw money in the trash. I've asked for no mayo and gotten plenty. Extra avocado (and charged for it) and received the tiniest amount. They've offered me pastries for the inconveniences and almost always forget to put it in the bag, even when a Manager is standing near by to check my order after complaining. I'm not sure whom they are hiring but if you can't even make a 2 ingredient salad correctly you shouldn't be able to keep your job. For the prices they charge I believe everything should be Organic. The fact that their reviews are this bad and corporate hasn't stepped in yet is a little shocking and speaks volumes about the quality of Panera in general. read more

I got a steak and arugula sandwich here and it was completely covered in mayo (what they call "garlic herb spread"). You literally couldn't even see the steak and arugula, or any ingredients, in the sandwich. There was that much mayo. It was a MASSIVE white glob in between two pieces of bread. There was so much mayo on this sandwich that I know some angry employee did it on purpose. I'm talking like literally half a bottle of mayo, so much that it wasn't an accident or just being busy. This was done on purpose. $10 sandwich had to go in the trash. I wouldn't even feed that garbage to a starving coyote. I contacted corporate and they told me if I have a problem to take it up with the store. Gee, thanks. I will never spend another penny at ANY Panera Bread location. I have twin 9 year olds one of whom loves Panera! The other one not so much until recently...we were in for dinner. Both girls ordered the kids Mac and cheese with baguette a drink and a pastry for ¢99. They both commented on how they like the kind if white cheese is used in the Mac and cheese and they both love the baguettes. The only complaint they both have is that Panera does not provide ranch dressing for salads so they never order the salads.....wish they would offer ranch to get the kids to eat their greens....otherwise the kids were happy with their food! I am vegan and ordered the strawberry walnut salad without chicken, add avocado! I love it that restaurants offer these alternatives! The poppy seed dressing is delicious. The service was very good, the manager was helpful, friendly and his at explaining how it works to make the substitution on the chicken. THE ONLY COMPLAINT is that my daughter got up to refill her drink and one of the employees came by and threw away her brownie that she was saving for later. She cried a little and I offered to go ask manager to see if they would replace it but she was too upset to go ask. Please staff, give the tables a few minutes before clearing them. I am not a huge fan based on the fact that I think the price and the amount of food does not match...on that note...I was craving a salad, and decided to go for it. Went through the drive through, got my salad, went home, and was disappointed in the quality of the food the second I opened it. How does Panera BREAD not have bread or bagels in stock at 8:30am on a Monday? Today's final experience has earned this review and a call to Corporate tomorrow morning. It never fails - no matter what day of the week, or what time you come, you will NOT be able to order a bagel. I called ahead, drove 15 mins, waited 30 mins in the drive through, and suddenly they were out of bagels upon my arrival. "Manager" Erin McCurty and her staff member Katie (who refuses to give her last name) so we'll label her as the fat drive through girl, don't have any care in the world that they are out of EVERY bagel and several other BREAD products as well. Her excuse is that they can't keep too much of their product on hand.... not enough to have BREAD and Bagels at 8:30am at Panera BREAD sounds silly to me. Their attitudes herare DISGUSTING - almost as gross as the food served at this location. Did I mention the wait for drive through at this location is always 30 mins or more?? *UPDATE: After waiting an additional 15 minutes on hold to talk to Corporate - all the CSR agent had to say was that she was deeply sorry this happened and that this will be reviewed with management. Alright so a bit of backstory before I get to my review. My girlfriend and I have often had bad luck with Panera locations running out of ingredients to items, side dishes, and somehow... BREAD. Namely the Corona location that has had countless times where they run out of items. Recently we have been eating at the Menifee location, and WOW what a difference. The team here is fantastic. I'd specifically like to mention Emily who has helped us on multiple occasions. Always with a big smile on her face, Emily seems genuinely happy to be helping guests. Even the little details make this Panera stand out. Every other Panera we have been to, we have had to ask for butter on the side, or occasionally it is set out for us. But at this Panera it is always served if you have bread in your order. Not that we're too lazy to get our own butter, but it's just such a nice touch to not have to worry about it. Last night we had a great experience in the drive through, again with Emily, and it helped solidify the fact that this is the best Panera we've ever been to. The low star rating is for only the quality .The extra star is for the staff because the girl that rang us up was actually really sweet. I ordered a chicken noodle soup bowl today because I have a sore throat and thought it would do the trick. When my soup arrived I was very disappointed as you can see from the photo I provided it was only filled half way and it was mainly only broth. If you are going to charge almost $6 bucks for a bowl of soup please fill it up and give me a good broth to noodle ratio. This was just sad. Don't be stingy Panera! read more

Panera has changed or my taste has changed. First, I modified my diet to incorporate a vegan lifestyle. I stopped going to many restaurants after that. I visited Panera after 6 years! A lot can happen in that time. I went to Panera because it was the best option out of all the restaurants in the shopping center. You would think Panera would have vegan options but there were hardly any vegan options available. I like to have options and this place was lacking. I also noticed the portions sizes were reduced and prices went up for the Pick 2 option.
