Service was not so great. Found a hair in my food and they forgot items off our order. We had to make 3 trips up to the counter to get all the items we ordered, which was not that much. Staff could pay a little closer attention to details and focus on cleanliness as well. Probably will not be returning to this location. read more

Panera Bread - Salad Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Me and my bf came here to have a light lunch one time and again to do the same with some studying done afterwards. Both times we used the electronic device that took orders to order our lunch and we had no trouble nor any difficulties with getting our food. The food came in a promptly time after paying for our order. The servers were nice and sweet and always greeted us with our foods in hand with a smile. On another note for those who have never been at Panera Bread before: Since this is a chain fast-food service kinda place, they can't do anything about the prices nor the portions. I don't know why so many of you are griping about the little things. Just deal with it. And to make things a whole lot simpler on you and less stressful, try using the electronic service instead of going up to a live person to order :P I found it way more reasonable cause I mean Panera Bread is like a brand name eating place for sandwiches/foods and times are evolving to a new era where machines do all the work lol just saying~ read more

Staff at the counter who took order didn't seem familiar with how to use register. Had a bagel and pick 2 entree. Asked for bagel to be heated and sliced, it was luke warm. Sandwich was cool. Soup was served at appropriate temperature. The dining room was clean and inviting and the food tasted alright. Will give it another try, several months down the line. Hopefully, some opening "bugs" will have worked out by then. read more

Ordered breakfast for a morning meeting thru the app. Got there an hour later but order was barely half-filled; they ran out of bagels, soufflés and spreads! How on earth does a bakery/restaurant run out of the basics in the morning?? This is clearly a (mis)management issue on poor inventory control. What's worse than delivery of wrong goods? It has to be the inability to deliver promised good! I think the manager of this location owes a lot to his staff; they face a lot of the complaints when it's clearly the manager's failure. read more

everytime i come here they give me bread that tastes like it's been laying out since literally a few months ago. That sh** is so stale i could use it as a weapon. bread is literally in y'all's name so you think you'd get it right, but it's the worst thing on the menu. anyway yeah there won't be a next time read more

I just left this place. I was there for about 5 minutes and the woman behind the countee could not say hello, how are you, what would you like to order, or anything at all. She just kept on bagging bagels or something. This was after I spoke to her. I stood by the cash register, on top of the "place order here" floor sticker. No one took my order, so I left. read more

Had the Cuban sandwich and the bread was burned. The employees cooking at this location took zero pride in preparing the food. I've had this sandwich at different locations and it was amazing but not this one. read more

The staff seem "distracted" and are unable to take an order correctly, answer questions about said order, and make said order. The staff are in dire need of training in customer service, panera recipes, and cash handling. read more

This sandwhich, using the term loosely, has nothing to do with the cheese. The cheese on the other hand would barely rate notice. And the only heat this sandwich saw was the warmth of the truck i was driving. I understand pride in doing a job right is second to collecting a pay check for some people. But failure of this magnitude kinda blows my mind. As Leo Getz would say "They always f*****u in the drive thru." read more

Panera Bread - My grilled cheese sandwich. - Salad Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

We give this location a try about twice a year hoping things have changed. This is the first time they actually had all the products to make our order. Service was still below standards. A couple came in after us and were told "you didn't have to wait so long you could have ordered yourself over there" read more

I stop in here whenever they shut down the water at my apartment complex, which is about twice a week! I don't eat the food since I got food poisoning at a PB in MN. Maybe this one is better, but I don't come here for the food. I come for the coffee, which will send you into another galaxy. There is a place for a hot water container, but for some reason, it is never there. I have to ask the person behind the counter to add hot water to my coffee. They will do so without complaint but seems it would be easier just to put hot water in the place it is supposed to go. It seems the people behind the counter are sometimes confused. Who knows why, but it does reflect on the service sometimes, especially when two people order the 13 bagel special on Tuesday, so I avoid Tuesdays. The restaurant is spotless and someone is around to clear the tables and drop spots for dishes. I think this place just needs a bit of managerial polish and could be a top-notch Panara bread outlet. read more

COVID-19 had nothing to do with our experience today. One person was ahead of us...other than that, the place was empty when we arrived. After two other customers received their food before us, I thought something might be wrong. I went to the desk 20 minutes after our order was placed and was informed the prep team mistakenly put our order in a to-go bag. That was fine, mistakes happen. I took the bag to our table. The order was wrong and we were missing whole parts of our entrees. When I went back to the pick up desk, the staff was being loud and unprofessional in the back room. The order got corrected and I went to sit down only to realize I didn't have a spoon. When I went to the front to ask for one, an employee was putting an order into the computer. He was so put out to have to reach the 2 feet over to grab one for me, that he made another employee at the front get it for me. Sitting down again, I realized they did not include our bread, so my daughter went to ask for some. People can have bad days, but this is the second time in two weeks we have visited from out of town and had a poor experience with this Panera location. read more

Returned today. Mac and Cheese, tomato soup, French onion soup all good. Caesar salad was boring. GO to LaMadeline for a better one. I went to the kitchen for more dressing, but that didn't really help. My chipotle chicken sandwich again was not too hot. They did not ask for our bread choices. Maybe they were out of the choices. Place clean. Place busy. Bigger water glasses, but still used two. Food was out faster than first visit, despite being busier. It just doesn't seem like the Panera's we are used to. We did sign up for the reward program. But you get NO credit for the visit on the day you sign up. Not very friendly on Panera's Part. read more

Waiting at register for a little bit before anyone came to help. We bought multiple items for a family of four. Out of multiple things...no problem. When we received our food at the counter the coffees were made wrong and then when we got the right one...they're not good at all. Just tastes like milk and flavor w/out coffee. One of the sandwiches were not made as advertised and ordered. I asked about it and the lady said "well we don't have that kind of egg here". Would have been nice to know when I ordered or notified prior. The bagels were just grabbed from the display. Not cut or at least even warmed. The food was bland and the customer service was poor. Will not return. read more

My husband and I love Panera. We usually use the rapid pick up because it's quick and easy. However, the last couple of times we have ordered from Panera, we have items missing. We ordered dinner tonight and when my husband told them we were missing our cookies they asked to look through our bag to make sure they weren't in there. I understand they are running a business, but a $2 cookie would be the LAST thing we would be concerned about getting for free in a $30 meal. Not only that, but when we got home we were only given one cookie when we ordered two. It's frustrating to not receive something you paid for and then to be hassled when their mistake is pointed out. We haven't had problems with the rapid pick up until now. Hopefully they can get everything figured out and run as smoothly as they were previously. read more

My husband and I tried to order online tonight via this location's website and were unable to based on an issue with the website. We called to try to place an order over the phone but we're told by the manager that we were unable to do so. I can understand that you want for persons to utilize the online ordering system but when it's a holiday and your holiday hours have not been set correctly it can cause confusion and an inability to place an online order within site. As a business owner I would never tell a customer they're unable to be provided a service based on ordering via phone or online but that's me. Exceptions can always be made for the right reasons. Please check your settings within your site. You may lose business if it's not updated. read more

Ordered a couple of choose two meals for rapid pickup and everything was wrong! The chicken Chile salad had no chicken, the avocado and turkey sandwich had no avocado, and the Fuji apple salad had no apples. We didn't get any sort of heads up that they were out of avocado- at least tell us that before you try to fulfill our order! What kind of manager allows an order that's completely wrong to even leave the store!? Terrible representation of Panera's when others that I've been to have been so good. Seriously disappointing, Lubbock. read more

These people are terrible. I was accused of threatening their staff and told that over half the staff hate me because I quit working there. I am forced to go in to pick up my food when I order rapid pick-up. A manager said that I could continue to use their cafe or wait six months when they open the next two. I love eating there and never threatened their employees once. If you want rude managers and employees who flip you off and give you attitude every time, please go there. read more

I will not be going back to this location due to the manager. I don't know what her deal is, but she is very rude. I've had more than one experience of her giving dirty looks and having an attitude when she comes up to my table. Hey Lubbock Panera, get a new manager please!! read more

Panera is hit or miss. Sometimes they are just fantastic. Others they mess up and order or take forever. Our last visit was decent. Service was ok, but not friendly. The order was accurate and did take a little bit to get ready. Their food is good. And I love clean eating options, but prices can be ridiculous. For a sandwich and iced tea, it was almost $15. But it was delicious! read more

We attempted to go to this location a second time after finding their dining room closed a few weeks ago. There were no signs saying their dining room was closed, and we found both doors unlocked as we go inside. Everything seems to be blocked off so we ask the lady if the dining room is open and she responds "No." We ask if the drive thru is open and she ignores us. As we walk out and get back into our car, another employee walks over to the window and then proceeds to make a show of ensuring that the doors are locked all the while staring us down as if what we did offended him. We were going to go through the drive thru, but the way they acted seemed like they wanted no business from us. We understand the Covid guidelines and that was not the problem, it was the way the staff treated us and acted incredibly lazy. read more

I can't believe I actually have to write this review... but what the F*** Panera? So I ordered 3 of your pastries the French Croissant, the cheese danish, and lastly your staple baguette. It's currently 10am. Strike 1 The French croissant was terrible, it was like eating a mega mart croissant that lacked the signature crisp and flaky shell, and has no buttery flavor. It's a disgrace to even try to equate it to France! Strike 2 The cheese croissant had the same issues as the croissant, but this time it was made worse by the fact that it was stone cold and clearly not produced that morning either, it's rather dense considering it's supposed to be made of puff pastry... and it too is not crisp. Minor Strike 3 - Edited Was incorrect on my part... they did cut it lengthwise... I do however wish they didn't cut it in half read more

At 8:30 tonight, we went to Panera Bread. We tried to order. No one answered. We drove up to the window and looked. No one was near the window. We honked quickly a couple of times. Someone came to the window and told us they closed early. It was literally at 8:30. Very disappointing when you drive 15 min to spend about $40 at Panera, and they don't want to serve you because they decided to close early. It's not worth going back after that kind of customer service. read more

Had this for the first time a few days ago and the food was ok. My soup was good but only warm and sandwich was just so so and I also ordered no tomatoes or mayo and it came with both. The cashier was super helpful and friendly and I actually asked her to pick me a danish and it was my favorite thing I ate. It was also pretty expensive for a pretty small portion. So unless I'm just going to get desert I probably won't go back read more

Crappiest Panera I have every been too. The baguette was rock hard and I even asked for another one that the drive they employee talked shit to her coworker and then handed me another one that was just as hard. I enjoy the chain, but the Lubbock location is not only slow, but lacking in customer service. We used the drive through and after paying we waited 5+ min for 3 toasted bagels and 2 drinks, this was after waiting 5 minutes to get to the window. We we're finally asked to pull forward and several minutes later our order arrived, there was no apology, just a rood here you go. She quickly walked away and we found that our order was incomplete, I went inside and the manager was standing there, she was pleasant, but again, no I'm sorry, no sense of regret for the poor service. Unfortunately, this is not the only time we have had this experience lacking in service and slow delivery at this location. read more

Literally, drive through is supposed to be this places jam. The last three times I have ordered from here it has not shown up on time. Has been cold and when I called them this time she was completely rude and stated "well my driver just got here, wait a minute." Well I've been waiting 49 now when it should've been here in 20. Went through the drive through. Service was not fantastic. Debit card not returned to me ( my mistake since I was in a hurry) the next day I have several charges on my debit card. One of the employees decided to use my card for a mini shopping spree. One manager became defensive and stated her employees would not do that. I will never eat at any Panera again read more

Same situation as the Panera on Milwaukee. Always out of bagels, bread, butter, etc.. awful experience every time. Do not recommend unless you want to be highly frustrated and disappointed. Ok, I gotta be honest. The food was fresh, service was nice an fast. I'm happy to see a new franchise that ISINT already running itself into the ground with a lack luster staff and terrible kitchen quality. All these things were all good....here is why I have it 2 stars. Not in a bad way, but it wasn't anything special. I mean I was impressed by the quality of the food. I really was, but are we at a point that we will pay high end prices for fruit that isint rotten, veggies that aren't wilted an real meat? Is that the standard we expect? I had a turkey sandwich with a pickle spear and small bag of chips and it was $10! Add my drink an I was pushing $13! Also has the French onion soup, good but not amazing. I opted for the bowl vs the cup. To my surprise it was not very warm and the bowl wasn't even half full! $6 that cost me. We went with myself, wife, 2 kids (2-girls 2/4) and both grandmothers. So really 2 adults, 2 seniors an 2 kids under 5. Oldest got the mac an Cheese and the youngest a pbj. The GMs got salads an soup combo. Our ticket was $65!! Just think that a bit pricy for soup an sandwich. Staff was good, as I would expect. Again food quality was above average but I felt like the piece was much more than an avg soup an sandwich should be. read more

When you spend $16 on one meal you don't expect your sandwich to be soggy or the side of bread they threw in the bag to be rock hard.
