I have diverticulitis and usually order soup. It comes with hard bread. Becauae of my condition Panera usually swaps the bread for a slice of white bread. I was told today they couldnt do that, and told I had to buy an entite Load of bread. With mostly 1 stars on here Im glad Im not the only one to stop going here. Lost a customer because of a SLICE of bread ‍ read more

No one was at the counter when we arrived so we order on the kiosk. What we ordered was not available so they never offered to give us our money back just sub with something else. After all that I had to ask for my cups and they didn't even know what drinks we ordered. Very disappointed. I understand when things are available but greet us at the front and make sure we know it at a minimum give us our money back for ordering something unavailable. read more

I ordered a turkey sandwhich and received only bread, lettuce, and tomatoes. Either someone was not paying attention or something else happened but it is absolutely ridiculous. read more

So the sandwiches and soups are good! But the management is terrible! I have gone two times recently and both times it looks like no one works there. They do not want to take your order in person and I guess they want you to order using their kiosk machines. Sometimes people just want to place orders in person. Also tables were dirty and most employees looked like they didn't want be there! The customer service has gone downhill at this location! read more

I should've read the reviews before stopping by with my family today. What horrible service. It took more than 20 minutes to get our dinner of three soups and two Mac and cheeses -- all of which simply require scooping into a bowl. After 12 minutes when I approached the counter, it took multiple minutes before I was acknowledged and even then no one had any sense of urgency to make my meal. There were no orders in front of us. And an order came in after I stood at the counter, which was then made before ours. The manager provided no assistance and barely even apologized. To make it worse, my soup was incorrect. When he remade my soup it was obvious he was punishing me for being upset. The bowl was not filled and it was 90% broth -- very little chicken or rice. Follow the other reviews and do not come here. Worst Panera experience ever. read more

Service was great and food was hot when we got it! Very timely manner and food was so yummy!!

Amazing place to eat with great service even in a big group! The food was delicious and well served quickly.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this Panera is an embarrassment to the franchise. Today's bad experience is the tipping point after several bad visits, so here it goes. I used the app to order macaroni and cheese and soup, and nothing else. It was supposed to be a quick lunch order because I work nearby, but I've been sitting in the pickup line for well over 15 minutes after pickup time. I need to leave to make it back from lunch on time, but since I've already paid and I'm sandwiched between cars, I'm kinda stuck. Since I'm angry, it's probably easier to bullet-point than rage... *This place is almost always a ghost town-never more than five customers when I come, but it's inevitably slow. *They have kiosks for ordering, but if you actually want front counter service, good luck. I stood up there for five minutes once until I finally gave up. *For some reason they have you take a number so your order can make it to your table, but they never bring your food to the table. They do scream your number from the little kitchen window, though. *All that waiting and hoping and when you finally walk up and get it yourself, you get bad food. By bad I mean, stingy portions, cold, brown lettuce, the kind of bread you have to dip in your soup, not to soak up the last little bit, but to soften it up enough to make it edible and to prevent slicing your gums. Meanwhile, since I was in the car with my husband, I got out, walked back to work, and left him sitting there. He said he got the food after another 30 minutes with no explanation other than, "Sorry, we're short staffed." In any case, I frequently visit Panera in other cities and towns and they've never ever ever been like this. If a first-timer visited this location, they'd probably never visit another location again. Corporate, if you're reading this, you might want to revoke their franchise because they're a VERY poor reflection of your brand. I'm a positive person, but I can't think of a single nice thing to say about this location except that if you work close enough to walk over on breaks, the sip and save drink program (whatever it's called) is great during the off periods...unless they're out of cups, in which case, refer back to bullet point two. As for me, I'm done. I don't know who owns/manages this place, but whatever you're doing, it's all wrong. I'm deleting the Panera app, and never wasting my time or money on this location again. If I want soup or mac, I'll go to Chic-fil-a or grab the pre-packaged stuff from Target or United. read more

Well, to start with I was not greeted upon entering the location. I only found kiosks available to place my order. Upon placing my order and paying for it, a screen popped up and asked if I would like to tip the team. This perplexed me quite a bit because I did not see any team as you'll see in my photos. The only thing the team did was to prepare my food and I didn't actually see anyone or interact with anyone until my last name was called and my bag was abruptly placed on the counter before me. It's very sad the direction the service industry is going. Kiosks save labor, but are void of any kind of human interaction with the guest. They do not speak to you. They do not make you feel welcome. It's been a long time since I've been to a Panera and will be longer. The place was boring. There was no music only empty silence. Giving them one star was pushing it. But they don't allow negative numbers. I hope whoever operates the location has better success in their future endeavors. Things are looking bleak for Panera bread. read more

The absolute most horrific place in Lubbock . A customer should not have to beg for service, accept below par food , pay high end prices and never get a Thank You or any acknowledgement of appreciation for stopping by as a customer. This place should do the South plains a favor and close the doors as the inevitable is unavoidable in its present toxic environment read more

Love Panera and the service here did not disappoint! everyone was super courteous and the food was delicious.

The food I had was not bad. The cookie tasted kinda good and the bread was ok. It took a long time to just order a few things. The drink choices were not good and the medium size was the same size as a small drink from other restaurant. The seating was comfortable though. read more

Amazing service!! Ms.Renzie was wonderful, she suggested food items, broke down the menu to us and also informed us about the current specials. The managers and fellow team members assisted with bringing out the food and they all came over to check on us throughout our meal. Great establishment, very friendly, clean and organized. Thank you all for the wonder experience!! And thank you again Ms. Renzie, you made our experience very welcoming. read more

Zero stars if I could. Just shut this place down. Zero employees (okay 1), the egg white sandwhich was a joke. I should have taken a picture. You know the egg film that's left on the pan when you cook eggs? Yea that's what you get-a tiny film of egg whites on your sandwhich. Bagel cut sloppy-even the spinach and tomato are sad to be a part of this pathetic breakfast sandwhich. Don't waste your time here because you will wait forever and regret every second. You can make this sandwhich at home for $1. When you spend $9 on a sandwhich you expect a decent one. I do not see how this place is still operating. read more

Gave us a number to place on our table but didn't bring food to us. Why bother giving us a table standing number? coffee was cold, no cream. (that's one of the main reasons I came here) Mac n cheese was cold and watery. The pepperoni mozzarella melt was pathetic. Like 8 pieces of pepperoni. Barely any marinara. My wife's chili was microwaved and splattered all over. Looked like someone had diarrhea in a bowl. I've NEVER had an experience like this at Panera. 45 dollars for microwaved chili, cold Mac and cheese and coffee. Get new managers or charge less. you're better than this. PLUS I left a tip on checkout because that's when they ask. Should've gotten that money back but I'll just spread the love ALL OVER the internet. read more

Gave us a number for table, but didn't bring food when ready, rather called us pick up front desk while nobody else inside the restaurant.. Sad. I keep hearing how gen-z is entitled and yet you people apparently keep tipping 20% at Panera just to hand you the food. you people need to stop. I went through the drive through, which took 20 minutes for four cars. Then they would not give me the soup I ordered and they put all of the pickles in the order into one of the sandwiches. the order came to about $38 and I tipped $2. it's been a good run, Panera. read more

I love Panera! I was excited to come here because I always go when I'm home in New York. So I really wanted a chocolate chip cookie (they're the best) and they ran out, so one of the workers gave me the cookie bag! She was SOOO Nice! The other workers here was very nice as well. The food was amazing of course. I'm definitely going to come back while in Texas. Panera Bread is literally the best. Make sure you order the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad ! It's great. read more

I walked from my hotel and went over to Panera, walked into a side door. An employee was just sitting on a laptop in one of the booths. Didn't say hello, didn't even look up from the computer. All the lights are off in the whole building. The manager was just now walking in at 8:58. Which they open at 8. I waited at the cashier and there was no one. The manager peeked the corner and saw me and then continued to do whatever she was doing in the back. I waited probably 2-3 minutes just for someone to help me. Finally a guy walks up and he's got a fake gold grill in and reeks of weed. Which is the most unappetizing thing ever. Then I go and find a table in the dark since the lights are off and the table is sticky and dusty. Being the only customer of the day you'd think maybe they would bring my order to me. However the same gentleman that took my order yelled my name from across the restaurant and had me come get my order like a high school cafeteria. It's obvious when restaurants struggle from poor management/franchisee's. This Panera is in dire need of help. read more

I got the chicken noodle soup to go and it was so salty I couldn't eat it. No lunch for me.

I've avoided this place for so long for good reason. Today's "lunch" was not even worth the $25 that I paid. The frontega chicken sandwich was probably the most tasteless sandwich I've ever eaten. The "bread" that was the served with my son's Mac and cheese nearly broke his tooth, the stale bread would have been good if my son was a duck. To add to this worthless order, my fiancé's bagel wasn't even toasted and missing cream cheese that she ordered. Whoever runs this establishment is a joke and I'm not one to complain or leave unnecessary reviews but if my review can save someone from eating here then I'm happy I left this sour review. 0/10 will not be back. read more

Do not waste your time going to this location. I have been here several times because of the convenient location and decided to try again today, only to be disappointed once again. I waited to order in drive through for over 10 minutes with no answer, then drove to the window to wait for another 5 minutes. There were about 6 employees just sitting around talking and laughing, a few were even eating, yet no one could be bothered to do their job. When an employee finally decided to acknowledge us, we were spoken to very rudely and were told that we could go inside if we wanted to order. This location has no regard for customer satisfaction or even the bare minimum of service. I would give Zero stars if possible. read more

This location is very unprofessional. I arrived to the drive-thru 15mins past their opening hours. I waited there for 5mins; no one did not answer me. Due to the no response, I went in the facility to place my order "To-go." Upon entering, an employee began to yell, claiming, I "snatched the door open." I told the door was open and that I was in the drive-thru and no one was attending, then she said, "I did not have my head set on" and made me go back to the drive-thru.
