Dirty restaurant, slow service, food prep person was restocking with cardboard boxes in the food prep area with his gloves on and then didn't change gloves when preparing food. Dirty tables - all. Luckily the grilled max/cheese was for my son and he let me have his soup because I wanted a BOWL of soup not a cup. I only ordered the bread for my husband to have since he likes it. So, I placed an order and waited about 20 minutes before noticing the people behind me had already gotten their food. I go up and my food was just sitting out. No one called my name ONCE. I wouldn't leave a review if it weren't for the fact that they called this guy Tony's name about FIVE TIMES, loudly. I guess it was an easier name than mine to pronounce. This is one of my favorite spots EVER! I've been coming here for years and the vibe remains the same. Very warm and welcoming! I decided on the margarita flatbread today. Though I'd change it up. Not impressed with my bacon egg and cheese on multi grain bread. The egg looks disgusting. The staff seemed to be in a rush for breakfast to end. I went about an hour before breakfast ended but the quality of my sandwich just was not great. Panera is usually a good place to go eat a nice healthy meal when you don't feel like cooking. Placed an app order, it was late. Said it would be ready at 11:33am. Wasn't ready until 11:45am. I ask for an Apple, I got chips. My order was delayed because it needed to be remade, as I asked for no avocado and it had avocado on it(this was placed specifically in the app). When I arrived, there were 7 employees working behind the counter... I noticed a lot of chatting. They also put tomato on my sons pepperoni flatbread which isn't mentioned on the menu and he really doesn't like tomatoes. They just do not seem to care. Please TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE! My usually perfect Mediterranean Veggie sandwich is a good weighted bag to take home but today from this location it was so light I had to open the bag to check if I even had my sandwich in there! This location is a central meeting place for some friends, but it is not my favorite location. The wall next to our booth was filthy. The table we sat at also needed to be cleaned. I did not see anyone in the dining area cleaning tables. I also like the locations that give you a pager and bring the food to your table instead of standing at the counter waiting for your name to be called. This restaurant does not do that yet but I hope they do that soon. One thing I have never liked about Panera is having to take your dishes to the trash. I would much rather someone be available to take the dishes instead of my having to stand and dump my trash and look at all the other dirty dishes. Now, on to my food order. I ordered a full Caesar salad with chicken. See the photo. It is about the size of a half order which is what I normally order. When I asked if it was a full salad I was told because it was made with spinach instead of Romaine (due to recall) the spinach flattens down more than other lettuce. I walked up to the register and there was a lady behind the bakery racks who made eye contact with us, saw us, and completely ignored us just chatting away with another person and laughing. We walked over to the food counter and were trying to get someone when the guy who was there walked off mumbling when we tried to ask if anyone can help. It appears management does not truly seem to care to formerly address the unfortunate inadequate service from this particular location. The customer service is hit or miss depending on the attitude between the staff-from front crew through to management. The tables and seats are not really clean and so therefor you already know during a pandemic this is safe to assume that the restaurant is not thoroughly following adequate sanitize standards. They are frequently out of stock with their food products and do not seem to anticipate how frequently they should be prepared. They lack professionalism not only in customer service, but in appearance of the restaurant, the food products itself, and the overall lack to maintain stock and are unapologetic about it despite the increase of customer complaints and dissatisfaction. Until this restaurant completely loses their customers, this is probably why they will not make a significant change if any at all...nor any attempt to accommodate for the inconvenience. read more
