You must have some real special people working at the Lawrenceville-Suwanee location. I've ordered curbside delivery at least 3 times and they SCREW IT UP EVERY SINGLE TIME OMG!! A worker is always sorry (as if that'll solve things). I don't want to keep getting an apology during every curbside order. Curbside delivery does NOT mean come and pick it up inside. I've always loved Panera Bread. There used to be one in Gwinnett Place Mall which was super convenient and much closer than this location. I went here for lunch with my mom. We both ordered a You Pick Two, the price varies depending on if you get a signature sandwich, salad, or soup. I ordered the YP2 and got the Tomato Soup and Tomato & Mozzarella Sandwich. Everyone seems to pick Broccoli and Cheddar as the favorite soup but Tomato has been my favorite. I ordered an ice green tea, very good and not too sweet. The soup was warm and just delicious. The sandwich I had never tried and I ended up really liking it. I am a huge fan of tomato, mozzarella, and basil combinations. I like this location, the service has been great and never had any problems. It's a great place to study, free wifi, and good selection of breads, desserts, & coffees. read more

Terrible experience all the way around! Couldn't get anyone on the phone to order, nor could I reach the manager, and couldn't get the online order to work. Went in to place our order. I ordered the half Spicy Thai salad with chicken and dressing on the side. The portion was much smaller than when you order and eat in...I have ordered this size salad many times so I know what to expect. To top it off, the server apologized for the wait but that they didn't have any chicken thawed! This was at around 5:00-5:30PM ! This is one of the worst Paneras. It is a franchise and routinely screws up the order. I placed a $40 order that they completely messed up and forgot half the order. The offered to send me a gift card to cover the order. Cool. I was good with that. About a week later, nothing had showed up, so I called back and I was told that as a franchise, they are unable to issue any reimbursement for the messed up order. I really wish we could get delivery from another Panera as when we tried to get delivery today, they were out of everything. Customer service needs improvement. NO ONE at counter to greet customers. You have to wait for someone to appear. No one monitored the dinning area. My order was missing the chicken. I was with a group and it was not appropriate for me to take it back as I was with a large group and I did not want to disrupt everyone to get up and move so could get out so kept watching for a staff to appear in the dining area to no avail. I got a mango smoothie. It wasn't overly sweet and it was blended pretty well. I also got a steak and arugula sandwich. It tasted pretty good although the meat was a little tough. when I first walked in the line wasn't too long but as a first time customer it was pretty easy to navigate where you needed to be. Restaurant was very dirty. Tables weren't cleaned off, the plate return area was stacked up and the trash was over flowing. The fountain drink machine was out of 4 types of drinks. There were no napkins in any of the receptacles and when I asked for some at the counter I was given a dirty look as if I hadn't looked in the right place. We needed napkins to clean off a table to sit at. The food was just okay. My husband asked for extra cheese for his French Onion Soup and was given about a tablespoon. Upon leaving we checked the health inspection report only to find it was a 99A? I never ever leave reviews but honestly just felt like it was laziness. There were at least 4-5 visible employees, meaning not behind the area making the food. I know it's hard in this industry and will tip extra for those sticking it out! I was there for breakfast with my son. He was enjoying his salad but needed more dressing. He went up to ask for extra once and felt uneasy going up to ask for more. Awesome Yo walked up to us to see how we are doing. She was so friendly and attentive to my son. She went to get more dressing for him and came back to chat with us. Awesome Yo provided great customer service not only to us but we watched her interacted with an elderly couple who looked like they were having a bad day. They left smiling and thanking Awesome Yo. I've always known Panera for fresh made tasty grub. It's my go-to for ordering lunch for working meetings and usually I'm happy. I want to post this experience and possibly get some feedback. After a late work day and skipping lunch I stopped in to get take-away for very late lunch/early dinner. It was like 5pm and they were literally out of most everything. No bread bowls, soups, and missing other things. Staff, including management, did not seem concerned. I got a story about how the products come in large bags and it would be a waste to open something just for me. And of course, I can't expecting them to go bake a loaf of bread just for me. I get it. But staff seemed a bit annoyed that I even asked them to open some soup. Like it impacts world food supplies or something. My issue is more with the corporate poor planning, especially considering the data they surely have to prepare not only for known demand but allowing adequate buffer for later in the day. Clearly low balling to save a few bucks. Why not just close early and save lots of bucks? Finding your door locked that day would have been equally satisfying to what I got. Also, maybe try providing stores with a quality of smaller size product "bags" in each delivery so they can "top up" when they run out in the evening. I got what I could and left but was just left wondering why a place stays open until 8-9pm if they run out of food after lunch. The place was empty. Why stay open at all if you can't serve your menu and no one is there? I'll still patronize Panera for lunch hours but you won't hear from me after 2pm again. I love Panera, but this location totally SUCKS! I'm usually there 2-3 times a week for lunch. For me, Panera is a pretty tasty and healthy option for lunch than your typical fast food joint. As much as I love Panera, I can't seem to fall in love with this location. I think it is partially because I am used to the location closer to my work place, which is a lot busier. In comparison to the other Paneras I have been to, this location is quite slow in term of business and customer service. The quality of the food here to be sub-par of other Paneras. Let me start off by saying the food is amazing. The communication is severely lacking. In the past few months I've had to constantly go back to get a corrected order. First incident: mom and I ordered a fuji apple chicken salad. The only request was that onions be removed from one of the salads. When we started to eat the salad we realized there was no chicken on the salad and they put bacon on our salads instead. Where the heck that came from, I don't know. Unfortunately it took us an hour to get back to the store to get it corrected. My salad was supposed to be for my son but he couldn't eat it because they literally put chicken on top of a wilted salad. I had to go back yet another time later that night to get it corrected. Second incident: I ordered a salad just to get home and realize there was no dressing. Another trip to Panera. No big deal except they were closing in 20 minutes! Third incident: I specifically ordered a panini with no cheese. I strongly stressed the importance of NO CHEESE! I was told this wasn't a problem. Half way through eating this sandwich I realize that I'm eating CHEESE! I have no clue what's going on at this location but I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to a different location. They seriously need to get it together. Moral of the story, even if you don't get a modified order, they'll still modify it for you. If you get a modified order, God be with you and pray with your entire life, your baby's life, and your unborn grandchildren's life that they don't screw it up because they probably will. read more

The layout of the cafe was awkward, unlike other locations where you feel cozy and warm. Also the tables and chairs are old. It makes me feel like I am in the 80s when I dine there. I'm only giving this location 2 stars because they are consistently inconsistent with providing fresh vegetables in their salad. I've found some nasty pieces of lettuce in my salads before, and I can actually dismiss that as an oversight. But to cut up black avocados, charge you extra, and hide them under the lettuce... Well, that's what you can expect from this location. They also charge more than other locations for the same items. I started going to Panera years ago in Dunwoody. I use to love everything the company had to offer: delicious, healthy food, friendly staff, fabulous green tea, and amazing pastries. After I moved, I didn't have a convenient location near me, so I stopped being a frequent visitor. A few years ago I moved to the Lawrenceville area and was pleasantly surprised to discover that there was a Panera near me again. Talk about excited! The first time I went, my experience was fair. Since I went during lunch, I was willing to cut the folks on the sandwich assembly line some slack -- they were slammed. My sandwich came out a bit lopsided, with mustard smeared all over the wrapper (yes, I ended up getting it all over my sleeves. One wouldn't expect mustard to be on the outside of your sandwich wrapper...). Other than a hastily assembled sandwich, everything was awesome as usual. I decided to give this location another try and went in a few weeks later during a less busy time. This time my sandwich was also carelessly assembled, the bread was wet, and the condiments were just thrown on. I had to reassemble my sandwich before I ate it. I did mention that to the manager and he apologized and offered to make me another. It was very nice of him but since I was in a hurry, I declined. Yesterday I went in for the third time. My sandwich was carelessly thrown together, the apple was bruised, the tomatoes in the sandwich were definitely old and soggy. The bread on the sandwich was wet (honestly, how do you get the bread wet that quickly?!) and the lettuce showed signs of being past its prime. I took my food to go, so I had to come back and get it remade. The manager offered no apologies and didn't even bother to look at me before grabbing the sandwich and disappearing behind the assembly line. I had my sandwich remade and it was only marginally better than the one before it. Although the green tea is good and the pastry are still delicious, the blatant disregard to the quality of product that comes off of that assembly line is enough for me to never come back to this place again. For the amount of money that Panera charges for their sandwiches, one would expect a better quality product. You are better off going to Arby's and grabbing one of their market fresh sandwiches. This Panera isn't bad unless you're using their Rapid pick up online ordering system and prefer to wait on your food because it's not on the shelf What's the point of a rapid pick up shelf if the food is hidden behind the counter? Anyway, I've never had a problem when I actually ate inside the restaurant. Panera is Panera. When you want something a little more filling than Starbucks, you know. But this location isn't as accessible so I can imagine they lose some customers that way. I mean, I know for me, myself, personally, I prefer to hit something closer to 316. In days like today, I wanted more substance. I just had to wait forever for it. Any who, it's not incredibly horrible. The turkey chili and green power smoothies are lit.
