This place is getting worse. I love the food at Panera however the prices keep going up and the quantity keeps going down. My husband ordered to go and when he got home the entire order was wrong. They advertise on their receipt that they will make it right but it's not like we live next door. Really disappointing. I would not have reviewed if this was the only time but it happens frequently. HORRIBLE! I ordered rapid pick up for bagels this morning and it wasn't ready. I ordered online from home and it takes me 20 min to get to lancaster. No one got my order ready till i got there. I had the pick 2 deal with the half turkey, avocado blt and half serving of mac n cheese. It was good but not great. In my opinion it was grossly overpriced, I added a small drink and a $1.00 cherry pastry for a "half" of a lunch total of over $13.00. Again the food was decent but it would have been better with a side of vaseline. I left feeling motivated to do better in my professional life. Who are these people that can afford to spend this amount of money on mediocre deli style offerings? What am I missing? Im a glutton for punishment so I will return. Panera=one happy lady! After a long day and hard workout, I couldn't wait to order my usual: "Pick Two"-It's the only way to go. Soup & salad was my choice for this evening. Normally, I'm rarely ever disappointed in the service or food at this particular location. However, this is the SECOND time bacon has been forgotten off of my Spinach power salad and what looks to me, replaced with their kettle potato chips. Um, bacon is seriously one of the best things about it. Not cool. I was quite saddened by this, but failed to call and complain seeing as I was back home, ready to consume the goods. Downgrading my review to 2 stars for poor service because they always forget to add utensils to to-go orders, without fail, almost every single time. It's irritating and they've been told more than eleven times (I order Panera for my Manager almost every single day for 3 and a half months) not to forget this. If you can't remember to add utensils to to-go orders then leave the plastic utensils out so customers can get it themselves. read more

Never had Panera Bread, walked in and said "Dayum, theres alot of bread in here!" lol Food was ok, I had the chipotle chicken panini which compares to the panini's at McCalisters. Went here with my mom and sister for lunch before school and there were a few issues. First off they did not inform me before I ordered the Caesar salad that there were no croutons and just served it to me without. On it was 3x the amount of dressing which I did not ask for (I guess they were trying to compensate) which made it soppy and soft. They forgot the cookie I ordered and my second piece of bread-both of which I paid for. Good thing we didn't get rapid pickup like I wanted or I'd have been late to class having to go back and get those things. They did try to correct it but I came out the situation feeling like THEY were the ones who felt inconvenienced. Also, breads were on the stale side and Wi-Fi DOES NOT work. read more

One of the dirties restaurants I've been in a while been several times to give a chance, the bathrooms always smell like the worst gas station bathroom you have ever been, they allow people to come in with nasty dirty cups from the street and refill them using the soda/juice fountains on a constant basis. To go or not to go.... that was my question and thank the sweet lord Panera has answered it. NOT TO GO. Just made the mistake of ordering a salad and grilled cheese to go. Salad was whatever after finding out that BBQ one I used to always order was taken off the menu. Then upon getting home and opening what was supposed to be a delicious "grilled cheese" I get a soggy piece of clearly microwaved rubber. The fake cheese square was not even melted all the way and they also somehow managed to only "grill" one half which seems like a pretty incredible feat being that they supposedly use a sandwich press. I came in on Jan 24 2017 early in the morning around 8 . I really wasn't in a good mood due to me not being a morning person . So I ordered my food and sat down. My server I think her name was Candacea greeted me with great energy and said good morning, her name ,and that she'll be helping me if I needed anything. She kept checking on me even refilled my drink (even though I can get it myself) she was very attentive and fast. She kept conversation with me about my book I was reading.. She seemed very interested in her customers which is a nice trait .I left in a more positive mood then what I came in with. I will be returning for the great food, environment and service. read more

I was traveling for a volleyball match at the local college with my entire team. After the game we decided to go to panera to get a quick bite to eat before heading onto the road. I understand that having a large group makes everything more difficult and hectic especially later in the evening when a place may near closing. So we are very understandable when it comes to that and situations that may lack customer service because of the other customers in the store. With all of this considered and me still coming out disappointed with my meal says a lot about this panera location. When I received my meal, which was a simple Mac n cheese, it was cold. Yes cold, not luke warm. I quickly addressed the fact that my meal was cold and I wanted it to be warm as it was in many other panera locations I've been to. To my surprise I was told that the Mac N Cheese is wanted in a MICROWAVE before being taken to customers. He brought me out, not a new plate, but my same meal and informed that he had heated it up in the microwave. So the meal goes on, and I realized I was never brought my side of chips that I had ordered. Again, I informed the runner of this, not once but twice. And he simply told me he forgot. So I guess my food I paid for must've slipped his mind. To top off the night several of my teammates were highly disappointed in their meal because their macaroni too, was cold. Sadly they did not speak up but I am glad I did. Thankfully I won't be returning to this panera location again. read more

My wife and I had diner last night here. The soup and sandwich combo was delicious as always. What has me irked right now is the cinnamon roll, I had asked to go. I saw a tray full of uncut cinnamon rolls in the display case. My wife asked for a cookie and I asked for the cinnamon roll. The server, Josh, walked over to the display case and reached under the counter and withdrew my cinnamon roll already boxed. I didn't think anything of it, however this morning . I have less than half of a cinnamon roll , it's the corner of a serving from a previous tray. I am super disappointed that Panera Bread would serve this partial treat, let alone sell at full price to an unsuspecting customer. Check your packed to go items. This could be the new protocol for Panera Bread, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMER WHEN YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. I was in an absolutely terrible mood and was having a horrible morning. The manager (I think his name was Danny) was so nice and treated me like he actually cared that I was in a bad mood. I appreciate it when people don't react defensively just because someone is not feeling well or is uptight. The food is always great and the majority of the staff are normally very upbeat. I wish I could give a store zero stars. I order my breakfast and they run out of plain bagels. Let's not even discuss how annoying that is. They offer no alternative to me nor apologize sincerely. The girl let's me know she's going to get the manager to refund my purchase. At this point, all I want to do is leave. The girl then comes back out and asks if someone knows how to do a return. Turns out, the manager gave away their "codes" on a post it note and couldn't be bothered to help a customer. I'm pretty positive it is a violation to give out your codes to a regular team member. Clearly the service is a reflection of the management in the store. Never going there again. I hope some district or regional manager frequents yelp and sees this review. read more
