I ordered a brownie online from this location for rapid pickup, it was ready within 2 mins. However the different pickup areas were confusing. I'd prefer more clear communication about where to pick up online orders. read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Lake Grove, New York

For a spot I've been visiting since they first opened, the quality dip has been gradual but noticeable year over year. Today was my worst experience yet and probably the last straw for me. The "rapid pick-up" is no longer rapid since the pickup shelf is behind the register. The cashier was swamped with people ordering and I had to flag someone to get my bag that was staring at me from across the counter. The food quality has gone from good, to mediocre, to downright bad now. I got the You Pick 2 with a chicken fiesta sandwich and a corn chowder cup. The corn chowder itself was fine (a bit bland) but the tortilla chip strips on the side were extremely stale and disgusting. I didn't realize this until I already mixed them into the soup, thinking the whole thing. My chicken fiesta sandwich was FINE but the bread was extremely tough (likely due to new low-quality prep standards for their bread that has been well documented). Worst of all, there was barely any chicken in the sandwich, far less than the overflowing sandwich in the online images when doing a pickup order. Super disappointed and unsatisfied. Cannot recommend this business anymore! read more

I went with my teenager to Panera. When I go there I didn't expect much... it's Panera. The people working there, no problem. Polite, nice! I was annoyed with the end price... but ok, I could have chosen not to eat or to get coffee. But when I saw the Mac and Cheese my teenager got I was surprised. It was supposed to be a large portion... it was a bowl size portion just slopped on a white plate. And the slop looked like multiple times microwaved. Noodles falling apart due being over cooked to dough and brittles of cheese sauce. No creamy sauce. Seriously? Honestly, what's going on with the food industry? So sad! read more

the chocolate chip muffins are amazing !!' my dad brought them home & I'm obssesed can't wait to go back and pick out some goodies myself !

Establishment was clean not busy for a morning walk in. They provided quick service. I ordered an oatmeal cookie a chai tea latte with almond milk. The cookie was great but the tea wasn't as pleasant. Not sure why it tasted different. read more

Came here at 10am on a weekday morning and it wasn't busy at all. I enquired about ordering lunch even though it was early and I was informed I could order salads and sandwiches and that soups would be available starting at 10:30am. Jovan (sorry if I am spelling it wrong!) was super helpful and friendly and showed me their new salad/sandwich menu. I tried the bacon basil BLT and the strawberry salad. In all the years I've been to Panera, I think this was only my second salad, and it was fantastic! It could have used a bit more of their dressing, but everything tasted great. The bacon basil BLT was on a soft tomato bread which had such a nice taste and soft texture. I did find it off that there were two slices of bread on the bottom of my sandwich (with only mayo in between) but it tastes really good anyway! Clean establishment, good parking, and accurate ordering process! read more

Panera Bread - Panera bread Mac and cheese and mango smoothie - Sandwiches Near Me - Lake Grove, New York

Just ran there to get a simple soup. I waited online for what felt like 15 minutes as there was one person taking orders. Finally another person opened up and took my order. That same guy then packaged up my soup after I waited another good 5 minutes or so, and proceeded to put the bread in the bag with no gloves on after just working the register. I can overlook a lot of things, (like the wait) but food safety is something I cannot overlook. Absolutely disgusted. read more

Earlier this week I ordered some soup to go. Typically of if I I'm not dining in with a waiter I don't tip which was this situation. What I have been noticing is that if I don't tip the portions are less or in the soups case I would mainly receive broth. very little broccoli or very little meat. This country should be asha of itself where the workers feel that they should entitled to tip for service that's not tip worthy. In Europe where food is much more cost efficient we don't even consider tipping as an option. read more

The good: consistent with other Paneras The bad: they are not friendly at this location by any means. They need to be taught how to assemble a sandwich. One side of my sandwich was all letuce, and the other side just had all the ingredients stacked. read more

I just ate the fromage crossiant toast. it was awful. do not recommend unless you are a rabbit.

Baked goods were said to be fresh. They were not. Vanilla cinnamon bun everything cookie and chocolate crescent . Sour dough bread lost ends when sliced. They do have kiosk to order though I ordered from girl at front. She said she could not give change of a twenty dollar bill but manager pleasantly did. read more

The staff here is really nice. They were pretty busy when we got here, after moving my son into his dorm on campus. We stopped in with him for a bite to eat before heading back home. I saw that they had new mac & cheese dishes on the menu and decided to order a You Pick Two with a BBQ chicken mac and cheese in a bread bowl and a chicken salad. The mac was OK but I didn't care too much for the saucy chicken added to it. It was too sweet for my preference but the mac itself was good. My salad was good and I also loaded up on a few of the kitchen sink cookies which are bomb! This location is very clean. The bathroom was clean and the tables looked well-maintained, like they actually go around and clean them after diners have left. Most of the Panera Bread locations that I've visited usually still have the remnants of previous customer's meal strewn across the table. read more

I always like Panera bread the food is great. This is a nice location in an area that frequently in shopping and hanging around. The day that I was here it was not crowded and it was a cold snowy day. I stopped him for some soup and salad. Everything was great. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that my soup was barely warm. Usually the soups are very hot here and that was what I wanted on such a cold day. I was in a hurry so I didn't bother to say anything, but they should have the soups hot. I wasn't early or anything, it was about 12:30 or 1 in the afternoon, so lunchtime. But, this is a clean and friendly location. read more

I enjoy visiting this location with my friends and it is conveniently located next to the mall. The restaurant is fairly clean and the staff are generally nice. I normally get the turkey avocado BLT with either a chicken noodle soup or green goddess salad. I really like Avocados and Panera has a wide selection of avocado rich foods! There are no gender neutral bathrooms thank you for asking Yelp. The place is spacious with a central fire place heated during the winter season They are also installing self ordering robots so stay tuned! read more

I've come here several times, but for whatever reason have neglected to write a review, so here goes. I really enjoy this location in the early mornings because it's generally not crowded, and I get my food fresh. I like being able to take my time and order from a kiosk, where I can peruse the options at my leisure, and customize my food the way I like it. The food I've gotten here has always been delicious, including all the varieties of breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The times I've been here for lunch have been great as well....what keeps me coming back is the delicious tomato soup and the bread that they have. The coffee is also very good. I like the food here. I feel like it's good wholesome food that I'm getting. I see some negative reviews regarding the staff, but I can say that my interaction with the staff at this location has been minimal. I do try to talk to the folks who actual make my food and provide it to me with my buzzer number, but they always seemed focused on what they are doing back in the kitchen and aren't really looking for interaction, unless you need something or there's an issue with the order. Aside from this, I really enjoy coming here, relaxing, and getting a great meal. read more

Panera Bread - empty plate....delish! - Sandwiches Near Me - Lake Grove, New York

Food is great, service is wonky. I ordered with curbside delivery, gave a description of my car, but they didn't bring it out. Had to go get it inside. They didn't fill up the cup with Mac and cheese. Ordered a sandwich too, it was a mess. Like I said, the taste is good, but don't expect great service. read more

700 calories for a pecan nut coffee roll? What the hell!! They list all of the calories for every bakery item, in a way I'm glad. I know what to get when I want a nibble and not consume a 500 calorie cookie. I really enjoy the coffee here compared to Starbucks. I like the bold blend and its free refills! When I was in Tampa last summer visiting grandma, I'd get up early and head on out to Panera for coffee and a bagel. While I was sitting there, I noticed that there were other dudes (about 20+ years older than me) coming in and doing the exact same thing?? I came here cause grandma drinks Maxwell house by the gallon and I like fresh brewed coffee. The breads and cakes are good, they also serve lunch here? Yeah, the lunch items are prompting for this stellar three star review. I had a soup / turkey sandwich, yuckk.. However! If you get a Panera card you can earn points for a free pastry and coffee. (oh boy do I love free) I'm a fan, its a nice place to come for coffee and a bagel read more

Panera bread is always a little bit expensive especially the sandwiches but they do offer a lot of choices. If you're trying to save money I think your best bet is a bagel and drink, or if you're hungrier the you pick 2 might be more for you. They offer a lot of healthy options and a very cool kiosk ordering system if you wanna get picky. Everything I got tasted good but it's a little hard for me to justify 12 dollars for half a sandwich an apple and a half salad. read more

This review is for the rude troll of a manager who caught an attitude when I asked her where to pick up my order From I ordered from the kiosk and asked her where to pick my stuff up from, this little short sloppy troll had to nerve to roll her eyes at me! If you want to pay $11 for a single scoop of soup in your bread bowl, look no further: this place is for you! I prefer to put that money towards local delis that give you a bowl of soup that is 10x better than this place. Their servings are pathetic. What a rip off. read more

Honestly the best fast food around. Healthy options make the higher price tag worth it. I'm a big fan of the grain bowls and the salads. The soups are not as healthy but they do warm a belly. One thing I'm not a fan of are the cookies. They look weird - and yes, I get it they're organic - but they creepy. Even my kids won't eat them. read more

There has to be something really wrong with the people that work here, my order is wrong every single time. It's close to my job and I don't have time to leave to get food so sometimes I order from here. It's always printed correctly on the receipt but there is something missing from my order literally every single time , I don't know why I keep trying. It's really frustrating to be hungry at work and go on my short break only for the food that I paid for to be wrong. Then I end up not getting to eat at all because I don't get another break. Please lean how to read it's not that hard especially when I'm not even modifying my order in any way. read more

The food is always great. It's nice to have a healthy option when you don't feel like cooking. I must say though, we were slightly disappointed with our order to go. We were provided with only enough salad dressing to dampen two leaves. I thought that it could have been a mistake, but the side order of chipotle Mayo was also packaged with the same meager amount. Not sure if they were trying to save money by cutting out condiments, but I would hope that they'd at least provide enough to satisfy the meal. read more

I know how cliche... I'm reviewing Panera. Well as usual I got my bowl of Broccoli and Cheese soup with a piece of Whole Wheat Bread and a Green Tea to go this past Friday. It's always solidly good. I love the fact that everyone is so friendly (even on such a nasty day). Anyway if your shopping at the mall and looking for something decent to eat and you don't want BBP (which by the way is awesome in my book) or Food Court stuff or CPK (mehhhh) or Cheesecake Factory then come here. It's always busy but the line and flow just keeps on a moving! read more

This Panera has a great location next to the Smith Haven Mall. I went with a few of my friends after we had gone shopping and I ordered from the Youpick2 menu. I got the mac n cheese and the Turkey Avocado BLT without the bacon. The mac n cheese was good as usual, the sandwich was extremely fresh and had the perfect balance ingredients. The avocado was sliced to perfection. The staff was very nice and even talked to us while we waited for our food. Overall, one of my favorite Paneras, I go here often. read more

No WiFi until after 2pm even if you purchase a meal. What kind of coffee shop is this??

This place is really clean. The menu is super busy but has a lot of options. I had the clam chowder and Mac and cheese. It was a pick two. I find it expensive for the serving size and quality. It's good for a quick meal but will become expensive if you are trying to feed a large family. I spent $40 on a pick two, chicken salad sandwich and a chicken noodle soup. Not worth $40. read more

Foods . Services are both not good. Cormack branch is much better than Smith haven mall branch

I have to say I've been eating here a little more often than my wallet would like since they have started delivering . I love that you can order online either for faster pickup or for delivery. The green goddess salad is my favorite, and I can quickly adjust the ingredients (extra pickled onion) on the website. They also email me coupons fairly regularly. It is a great spot for lunch. read more

Slow service and they assume you speak spanish and call out the food in their language, not even use the name they ask for. Recently ordered from this location and the tuna salad sandwich i received was just sloppy made. I ordered a full sandwich and the tuna was just on one side, half of the bread doesn't have any tuna. Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Lake Grove, New York

If you are expecting wonderful food, go to a restaurant, not a place that has the word "bakery" in its full name. That said, their breads are good - not great; avoid the bagels unless you've just landed from another planet and don't know better. Sandwiches are hit-and-miss, but the side chips are fine. Soups are wildly inconsistent from one visit to another. Coffee is wonderful, iced coffee sometimes great/sometimes dilute. Chicken in salads and soba bowls does not come from actual birds (or at least it doesn't taste like it). Pastries not always fresh, but they tend to look real pretty. My rating is based on my wanting good coffee that is not horribly overpriced when out and about, not fancy food. read more

This is a chain restaurant, so the food is the same as all the other locations. They have the usual soup and hot sandwiches, and the bakery section has bread, bagels, and pastries to take home. I wanted to comment on this location. I really like Panera, so I go here often and I agree with the other reviewer that they have had their problems with hygene in the past. Perhaps I have given them too many chances with the problems I've had in the past, but the up side is that I can say that they have greatly improved. I found the key was complaining through their coporate website, it really increased the accountability and I'm very pleased with this location right now. read more

I don't know what the big fuss is over panera bread. I've eaten here twice so far and it's expensive for what you get. Granted the breads they bake are really good to take home. Took the family there and we are the following: panini with fresh mozz, kids had a grilled cheese and a pasta with butter, wife had 1/2 Sammy with a cup of soup, plus 2 drinks. $40! I have to admit I had a bit of sticker shock and had to look at the receipt to see if we were charged the correct amount. Service was decent meaning the food came out fairly quickly, food was pretty good and the place was very clean and everyone was friendly. After we ate I picked out a few breads to take home and they were delicious. I'd go back for the bread but I would be so quick to return to eat there. Maybe it's me but I wasn't impressed. read more
