The food is great but don't go at lunch time or go early or super late. It was packed and we had to stand around and wait for a table. The place was crowded and people were taking their time to leave the table. There were a few people with their laptops using the free wi-fi that sat at a table where it could seat at least 2 other people but they reserved it for their working space (grrr). Parking is also limited and we parked in the back. The space inside is limited and can only seat a few guests. They do have extra seating at the outdoor patio. It was kinda windy outside and chilly, otherwise my friend and I would have had lunch out there. After a good wait, we were able to get a table but it felt like we had to be patrolling the areas and had to be a "hawk" to claim a table! Ugh...not a good feeling you want to go through when you are hungry and want a good meal. The meal itself was awesome. Loved the tomato soup and the apple pecan salad. Mmm.... good stuff. I have been going to paneras all over since it has become my new place i like a lot. I have come to be disappointed though with the lack of attention and personalized service. With that said. I came to this panera location and the manager (Nagin) helped me who was very attentive and friendly. I joked with her about them not having my favorite cookies (chocolate chocolate chip-amazing when soft). What impressed me the most was going back a week later. Her noticing me in line and came out and said hi and told me they had a fresh batch of those cookies. The food is good here. Needed a quick breakfast on my way into work this morning and could not be more disappointed. I've come here a few times and have been more or less satisfied, nothing amazing but nothing glaring, either. Today takes the cake, however. My bagel is literally charcoal black (see picture). I come into work and see this and am immediately angered. It's inedible and no amount of cream cheese would salvage it. Plus it was a cinnamon crunch bagel, and all I could taste was burnt food. I can't imagine how the employee didn't see it, so they must not have cared enough to make a new one, or were not paying attention (it looked like she was socializing anyway, and my food took much longer than normal). I stopped in because I had an equal need for food, coffee and wifi. The wifi is average in it's speed but what can you expect from an over-sized 'cafe' type restaurant. I love their coffee here. Each coffee pot has the time it was brewed written on the pot, which is great. Food: I ordered a cobb salad and enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, nothing different but it satisfies all basic need when you order that type of salad. The customer service is what earned a high rating in my book. A gentleman named TOM helped me out and couldn't have been friendlier! I'll come back just because he was so friendly and helpful. Not sure if that's taught by management or not but Tom was the man and I felt comfortable sitting here for a few hours using their wifi. My wife and I walked over here from the car dealership for a quick bite and coffee. Won't be doing that ever again. It started off by us requesting help from the girl working behind the counter. She looked pretty busy on her phone and we hated to interrupt, but we did...and boy did she get us back. Panera, There is belief is "food as it should be". They should feel terrible about what they did to that sausage patty. And for the record I didn't "feel good about the food I was eating". It actually put me in a bad mood. All I ordered was a breakfast sandwich, the sausage, egg & cheese. The egg was rubbery and the sausage...holly crap it was over cooked by about 15 minutes. It was as dry and hollow as a sponge. The cheese...it was mostly on the sandwich. But it was perfectly suited to the tough and chewy bread. Which I thought was made fresh? If your expectations for a breakfast sandwich are set 1 out of 5... this is the place for you. I expected a somewhat decent sandwich based on the commercials. Great food ! I have worked near this Panera and been eating there for many years. My co-workers and I eat there for lunch often. They have Rapid Pick Up so you can call in an order and it will be ready when you are. I also use their catering, and order lunch to be delivered for meetings. I have always had great service. All the staff is friendly and the cashiers know the menu well if you have questions. I have tried many of the menu and baked items and everything is always fresh and tasty. read more

This might be my new favorite Panera Bread location. I came here a couple Sundays ago for a quick lunch and ordered a You Pick Two with French Onion Soup and the Orchard Harvest Salad w/ Chicken. My salad came out without gorgonzola on top and without chicken. I went back up to the front, and just asked for a side of both, and instead, they made me a brand-new salad with chicken (and parmesan--they were out of gorgonzola?), and gave me my money back. Let's go through this. I have an "incorrect" salad at the table, an extra brand-new salad in my hands, and $8 cash. I think I came out ahead. I boxed up the extra salad and had it for dinner. Yum Yum Yum. I don't necessarily think the solution fit the problem in this case, but I'm not complaining. I got a lot for free. haha. Of COURSE I'll be back to this Panera location! Oh yeah, and their food is really good. I love Panera, carb heaven! The salads are good and you can get an apple as your side so it can be healthy. I've had the soups, the sandwiches, and the salads and everyhting tastes fresh. And yes, get there early if you want parking, the parking lot is a bit of a mess because of the layout...I got hit by an old person while I was waiting for my turn to turn out of the aisle (he backed smack dab into me), but that's a problem in the entire retirement community area. read more

I'm starting to spend more time at this Panera Bread because of my networking group, Platinum Coast BNI. The food/bread/pastries/coffee I've had so far rate between a 2+ and 4, but the Wifi and ambiance for very small meetings as well as the member card bumps it to a 4. It's quieter than most Starbucks, although I prefer Starbucks coffee. Turns out it's a great place to meet for a 1 on 1 or up to 4 people. The bonus is that if the meeting is before lunch and it goes a little long, lunch is available. I picked up my Panera member card about a month ago and have a total of 2 sandwiches and three specialty coffees. For that, I received a free danish I haven't used yet and a free specialty coffee that I used today. The rewards do time out, but at this pace they're very generous - and others who have been regulars longer agree. read more

I really like Panera Bread in general. I just HATE this location. Sadly, poor training, unexperienced staff, and an apparent lack of management brings the service and food quality way way WAY down. One particular event caused me to write this review, but there have been numerous small issues with this location. (everything from ordering a large coffee, but getting a small, ordering iced lattes, but getting hot lattes, ordering a caramel latte but getting a vanilla latte, ordering a pastry and having it be completely raw in the middle, etc) However, today the food was inedible. I came in for my usual Sunday morning bagel and coffee order. When I got home, I opened up the bag for my bagels to find that they were burned beyond recognition. The photo that I posted to Yelp doesn't even do it justice. Upon first bite, it became obvious that this bagel tasted like an ash tray. We ended up throwing them away. My issue is: How can an employee here see the condition of the bagels and STILL give them to a customer? There is just a total lack of regard from these employees and they clearly don't have enough training to properly prepare an order. I don't think I can go back anymore given the number of bad experiences that I've had there. Another Yelper mentioned some potentially unsanitary behaviors by the food preparation staff, and I have to second their observations. I wonder if the food safety training actually meant anything to them, or if they received enough training in the first place? read more

So I thought I could be sneaky and skip the line across the way at Sbucks and come here for coffee. It is 8:50am on a Monday. They are out of all the coffee and brewing more. My plan backfired. I was able to pay and get my cup quickly but I had to wait for the coffee to be brewed. I could have understood if it were a Saturday or Sunday but on a Monday? I love Panera bread, but definitely not from this location. I decided to order in person, and my receipt is 100% correct. Although I wait for around 13 minutes for my food, and they forget a whole grilled cheese! I work in customer service, and the way that these employees represent Panera is awful. I find it funny how you can sit around and talk for 10 minutes and not do your job, around your manager!!! Obviously management needs to be fixed around here or something. This is ridiculous. The "Robotic " food industry. There is little to no compromise as to how things are prepared. Eggs have to be cooked one way only. Flat and well done. Reasoning food contamination. Really ? Once again, Panera has gotten my to go order wrong again. This time there were two orders and both were wrong. We both got You Pick Two, each with a panini. Neither sandwich was a panini and mine was a turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato. No mayo, mustard or cheese. They also forgot my side of chips. I know it is not easy work there but other place aren't wrong this often. It's not my job to check the orders. I like Panera food quite a bit, especially their paninis. I love Panera Bread, but this location is not up to the mark of Panera Standards. Plus, they are a very busy location during lunch time. Sometimes they forget to ask me all the choices while taking my order. Some times they miss little things from the order (from standard menu orders) On two occasions I found little flies near their open cookies and bakery section. I normally don't rate large chain restaurants but because my wife and I go here so often and love their food I thought I'd make an exception. I've tried a ton of their sandwiches and I've never been disappointed at the taste. My personal favorites are the Asiago Roast Beef and the Chipotle Chicken. My only gripe with the sandwiches is the portion size, but if I get a bread bowl with it I'm usually pretty satisfied. I think they make portions smaller for the health conscious folk. And speaking of the bread bowl, I'll typically get something rich and creamy like the Broccoli Cheddar or the Clam Chowder. I love the Broccoli Cheddar. And if my sweet tooth is going crazy I'll usually grab a cookie from the bakery part of Panera. I love their chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. If you buy a combo, you can add a cookie for 99 cents which isn't too bad. read more

I like Panera - they've added some great vegan and vegetarian options. The edamame soba noodle bowl is fantastic and I like the peach blueberry almond milk smoothie as well. I'm looking forward to trying their new Ten Vegetable soup next. But the last few times I went to the Rockfield location, I had poor customer service experiences. I don't like writing negative reviews, but I do hope they start to shape up over there because it's a convenient location and the only drive-thru restaurant with healthier options. Panera is my go to spot for lunch with my Mom on the weekends. The food is consistent and the sandwiches are good, plus they have tables outside (but only a few) so I can sit with the dogs. For about $10 you get a sandwich, chips, and a drink, so it isn't super cheap, but it is not going to break the bank either. Salads are also very good and definitely meal sized. read more

Terrible service. The cashier took forever just taking orders and he did not even give me a cup for my water nor did he ask me if I wanted break or chips for you pick two. I had to keep going back and forth to get my order correct after waiting forever just to order. They charge 4.79 for a classic grilled cheese as part of a you pick two and I was shocked to see how small it was. There was barely any cheese inside l, what a waste of money and time. Tables were dirty in the evening while 2 employees played with their phone. There was a hair in our salad. Silverware was filthy and appeared to be unwashed. Cashier assumed I wanted a baguette with my You Pick 2 and did not ask if I wanted chips which I did. They also only had 1 remaining plastic fork. We witnessed a woman complain to an employee about wanting to sit in a booth that was dirty. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and the employee ignored her request. Another time we went here through the drive thru and they screwed up the order. JAB what are you doing with our beloved Panera? For lunch, you can't beat Panera Bread. Their Creamy tomato soup is soooo incredible, and don't dare get it in a bread bowl because you will wonder what else your purpose on earth is for. OK Perhaps that's a slight overstatement, but close. Panera Bread is a fast food / sit down restaurant hybrid. You order at the front then put that number thing up and they come find you. It's usually pretty quick and you get your own drinks if you don't buy a premade one. The workers always seem pretty nice, they have lots of different types of drinks other than fountain drinks (Jones Root Beer, etc.), tons of different types of sandwiches, salads, and soups. Just a good, healthy, fresh place to go. They have this deal where you can pick 2.... I pick 2 alright, but want to pick 2 more! OK, OK just 2. Creamy Tomato Soup and 1/2 a sandwich works for me. The bread is so soft and moist. The interior of the sandwich is so crisp and well attached. The soup is made for your mouth and your mouth is made for it. I have never eaten Breakfast there but I'm assuming it's excellent as well. read more

I really like the employees at this location. They're all super nice and friendly. Great place to go and pick up pastries on the way to the office! Always phone in my order in case it's busy, and they've never gotten my order wrong. I've only had one complaint and that was the last time I went there I saw some fruit flies by the baked goods.
