I used to eat at this Pick Up Stix location all the times when my office used to be right across the street from them. I haven't been back for many years since we moved away. After our visit to Best Buy next door the other night, we walked over here to get dinner since I received a notice from Pick Up Stix on my app that day about their "Two for $18". Mentioned the special promotion to the cashier and he acknowledged. I didn't want a heavy meal since I've been eating out so much lately, so wanted to order just the chicken lettuce wrap (me) with the honey shrimp (my husband's favorite). The cashier said no, chicken lettuce wrap is an appetizer and not an entree. I asked if we can make it as an entree as I do not want a full heavy meal but just a salad. We were willing to pay for it as an entree. He insisted that doesn't work. That reminded me that this happened many times in the past when they have the special promo and that's why I haven't been back for a while. So we ended up just ordering it as is, lettuce wrap appetizer and the honey shrimp for my husband. Both dishes were good though. I suggest Pick Up Stix to consider giving diners the option of ordering the chicken lettuce wrap as either an appetizer or entree like most restaurants. read more

Food portions are so so so small! Service is very nice but that can't make up for the measly portions.

Tried it and although the food tastes decent, it's still no where close to good Asian food. If you live nearby try Tasty Noodle House in Irvine. The flavors are much better , bigger portions and costs around the same. read more

I've come to this location for YEARS after the Misson Viejo one closed down. Always chill customer service, they always go over the order and make sure I'm good with how I'm ordering (will go over that in a few), & it's just 5-10min usual wait. My sister & I almost always go for our go to and then get one extra entree when they have new dishes to try. House Special Chicken, with xtra chicken and only 1scoop of brown rice or no rice just the steamed veggies. My sister just gets it with white rice. I have tried their new firecracker chicken and now will be trying the shrimp. Dish is NEVER a miss on flavour! It's always served hot and they always ask if I need anything else. Nah, I'm good. This is it! Love this place! For the record, I wouldn't say this is traditional Chinese more American catered to. But still freakin hits the spot! read more

I tried Pick Up Stix for the first time. Caroline took my order. Caroline is very pleasant and efficient. I had to use the restroom and it was spotless. In fact, the entire restaurant was very clean. The food is cooked fresh when you order. Beto is the chef and he did a good job with the Mongolian Beef. The entrees come with either white rice or brown rice. Caroline gave me hot mustard which I requested. She also gave me fortune cookies and forks. The food was a good value as it was freshly prepared, great service, and a very clean restaurant. Unwittingly I clicked on the coupon not knowing there was a 30 min time limit to redeem the free entree coupon. The coupon expired and I wasn't able to use it. I've been here a few times, but the last time and today, my food was horribly undercooked. Last time the chicken was raw in the middle. This time the steak was completely raw in the middle of half the pieces. They must have a new cook or something, because the cooking has changed considerably. It used to take a bit for your order involving meat, to be ready. Today my steak with broccoli was literally ready in 5 minutes from the time I walked away from the register. I was totally surprised at how fast it was ready, since it's supposed to be cooked fresh. It all made sense with my first bite. The steak piece was completely raw in the middle. Tried another piece and same problem. I ate the rice and some broccoli and tossed the rest. Not going back to this location. read more

There was barely any chicken in it at all maybe two bites and some tiny scraps. And it was made with those extra large noodles which I don't like.
