My wife and I haven't dined at Panera for quite a while. We were in the area shopping and decided to stop in And grab a bite to eat. This location seems like it's been given a "Facelift" recently. The decor was nicely appointed, comfortable and inviting. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy at all since it was early afternoon. After looking at the menu board, we had made our selections. My wife decided on the Cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich along with iced tea. I opted for the "Pick 2 Special" choosing the Rustic Potato soup and a half Spicy Steak Asiago Bagel Stack. After a short wait, our pager went off notifying us our entrees were ready. Oh yum, we were so hungry. My wife's chicken salad sandwich was exactly what she craved, totally delicious. The chicken salad was loaded with all sorts of awesomeness, nuts and cranberries. My rustic potato soup was incredible and so flavorful. But the star of my entree was the Spic Steak Asiago Bagel Stack. Oh my goodness, my pallet was having a party in my mouth. I was sorry I didn't order a full sandwich instead of a half. Oh Panera, when Fall and Winter approach: your coupons, CHILI, and freebies will always draw me in. My first experience with this location, was a great one. I ordered online and didn't catch the time reverted back to the current time. I scheduled it to be picked up at 5:45 and instead, it was prepared immediately (my mistake). I called the location and they were kind enough to prepare it again, once I arrived at 5:45 p.m. Because it was my mistake, they did not have to accommodate me at all. Thank you, Panera! Now, my meal(s) - Pick Two BLT Parm Salad: Mixed greens and crisp romaine tossed in ranch dressing, topped with grape tomatoes, Applewood smoked bacon, shaved parmesan, black pepper and sea salt croutons, and drizzled with Green Goddess dressing. This salad is a great addition to their menu, I really enjoy it. I like to mix the two, Green Goddess w/ Ranch. When I get a whole salad, I will add chicken the protein. As the Pick Two, this with a cup of soup makes for a perfect pair. Broccoli Cheddar: Chopped broccoli, shredded carrots and select seasonings simmered in a velvety smooth cheese sauce. Add a couple of Keebler butter crackers with this, and you're rockin n' rollin! Hearty Fireside Chili: A rich chunky chili with beef, kidney beans, fire roasted tomatoes and green chili peppers, simmered in a broth flavored with a blend of chilis, and cilantro. This is my favorite soup, even after the change. It used to be turkey chili w/ veggies. I was hoping for my healthier version, but this is actually even better. If you're a chili person, their chili is worth trying. Just a heads up, their chili sells out pretty quickly, if it's on your list, try to get in earlier in the day. Oatmeal Raisin with Berries Cookie: Other than the Kitchen Sink, I really enjoyed this cookie. It was my free birthday gift. The mural is a custom mood we commissioned an artist to create for a French bistro feeling at breakfast. A mini vaca spot over coffee. You've seen a cinnamon roll. So, I shared where I enjoyed mine this gorgeous sunshiney morning. Yes. I went to Panera bread for a third of a dozen of their sweet, light, airy rolls of cinnamon. How light? Most of the icing was on the inside lid of the box they came it. Were it not for the lid, they would have floated away. These rise super high. So high they truly need to buy bigger containers. No, they don't intentionally under box to make them seem tall. I'm comparing them to C'bon and C'Monster, and these are taller and lighter. Service in the drive-thru was on point. Pulled up, greeted the greeter cheerfully, and it was returned in kind. Only one issue (not their fault) was that occasionally I love buying the order behind me in the drive-thru, but it turns out it was a young lady about my kids' age, 20s. Some in that gen can't wait to livestream or post folks on IG for clout. Grey beard man pays for her order. It can easily go sideways, so I pulled off wishing I could have made such a pure, human gesture for a stranger just to make them smile. Social media, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I grew up holding doors for others, common chivalry, and courtesy. Now we have to worry that our intentions will be misinterpreted as untoward. I tried to be patient with the staff after having several times that product was not ready, lost or just not correct at this location. I stop going , after 6 months i decided to try again. I had success after two times and thought maybe they had it together. Then today , i walk in today, and no order 25 minutes after it was to be ready . I asked about the order and they couldn't find it . After I showed my phone order , it was determined it was picked up by someone else . After another 10 minutes, I was asked if i wanted to complete the order . Do better Panera. I will not be going back to this location. Try Jason's or Macalisters you will have better luck. read more

I used to get this delicious bowl that is no longer on the menu, so I tried the new Mediterranean Salad. I ordered the half portion. There couldn't have been more than one ounce of chicken, a half cup of lettuce, and very little dressing. The only thing there was plenty of is the crouton/cracker thing. For $8.65 my salad had NO FLAVOR, some wilted minuscule amount of lettuce and a fractional amount of chicken. I don't plan to return! So disappointing. read more

I am so grateful for patient associates, surely he was ready to scream at us but he didn't. Kudos! I wasn't trying to be difficult but we had 5 people who weren't exactly sure what to order, so we had questions about the menu. The guy taking our order, and I really wish I had caught his name, was very respectful and calm about the situation though. I ended up ordering the half soup (tomato) and sandwich (Turkey) with the .99 ginormous cookie. With a tea, of course! And my friend ordered the same just different soups and sandwiches, it got confusing but our orders all came out right! All that matters, oh and they were hot/fresh! After the last straw today I called the store and told them. I have never done this before to any fast food place. I felt bad but I want what I pay for! Customer service was lacking. Turbinado sugar slot was empty. Holder was dirty from coffee drips. On the way out, I opened the cabinet beneath the hot drink bar, got turbinado sugar and a coffee refill. Very disappointed with this Panera. I can see it deteriorating to a point of closure. Horrible and unorganized service. I ordered through the app for rapid pick-up inside, clearly my order should've been placed in the shelves as they usually are. The girl who was bagging orders saw me waiting for a good 15minutes, two men come after me and wait and she packs a new order and calls out the name and turns out to be one of theirs, same order type but here i'm still waiting to see my order placed on the shelf or have my name called. It was LUNCH RUSH so every minute counted my name wasn't even on the screen for ready. I ordered 12pm, said it will be ready 12:14, i arrive 12:09 and i get out 12:30. I love the food, but actually getting it is a challenge. On two separate occasions I placed an online order and arrived to see that someone else picked it up from their open shelves. The manager on duty mentions that "it happens all the time" and that they would remake the food, but with no compensation for the wasted time. I canceled the order... and they curiously gave me free meal coupons for doing so? They really need to work on actually being able to get orders in the hands of the people who ordered. As Panera Bread goes, this is an odd one. As previous Yelpers explained, this one is rather dated. The leather chairs are cracked and stained a bit and the tables are worn. Additionally, as compared to stores like Arlington (either one) or Mansfield, this location offers less seating and significantly less booths. Also, as stated in my tip, there are few plugs (the ones that do exist are in the floor, so you must move furniture). This location closes at 9 on Friday nights, which seemed odd to me. I was attempting to take a 170 question 4 hour exam so I checked online it stated that they closed at 10. At 8:45 staff was pushing me to leave. The food is quite the same as any other location, so that is a plus. However, I orded the Vegan Quinoa Bowl and requested no rice. When I had done so in Arlington they accomodated. However, the young lady that brought me my food stated "Our food is pre portioned and it's impossible to go without rice." I just accepted itvwithout saying much really. Pros: A warm fireplace with seats in front (!!!) I used to love Panera. I went there today with my daughter for the first time since Covid and it had changed, the menu had changed drastically, and the chicken noodle soup had changed. The broth was brown and the soup just didn't taste good at all. I didn't eat it my daughter shared her salad with me. My great granddaughter got a pick 2, salad and mac n cheese. My daughter told them to put grated cheese in it. When she picked it up-at the counter it had a slice of american cheese on top of it that they had torn in pieces.
