If you want to eat healthy food and something that taste great, this is the place. The service was great very friendly and helpful with the menu. The restaurant was clean and tidy, some chill music play...very relaxing and inviting. Stop getting those street tacos and eat something healthy for a change

This is Hesperia Panera on Bear valley a place that don't really know how to treat their customers talking about managers
    Jason B.

truly wanted to like this Panera location, but I've been treated with disrespect more than once -- and I can say with complete confidence that I've done nothing to deserve it. About a month ago, I reported to management that someone was using my Sip Club ID without my permission. Instead of being helped, I was blamed and told it was my responsibility to confront whoever was using it -- even though that's unsafe and clearly not my job. I let that go, hoping it was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, today proved it wasn't. As someone who visits the Hesperia Panera nearly every day, I've always tried to be a polite, loyal customer. I have a bad back and hips, so I park as close as possible to the entrance -- usually in the same spot if it's open. That small routine is part of what makes my mornings peaceful: a close parking space, a cup of coffee, and a few minutes watching YouTube before I start my day. Today, while parked in my usual spot -- fully within the lines and without touching or endangering any car -- an employee came outside during business hours and confronted me angrily. She accused me of parking too close to her car, even though there was plenty of space between us. Another employee stood nearby as if to "protect" her, which made the whole situation feel intimidating and unnecessary. She even told me that I park next to her "every day," as if that were something wrong or disrespectful -- which makes no sense. I simply park in the safest and closest available spot to minimize the pain from my back and hips. I've never damaged or even come close to another vehicle. The photos I took show this clearly. What made it worse was that this all happened while she was on the clock -- representing Panera. Instead of treating a regular, paying customer with respect, she chose to make me feel uncomfortable and attacked for no reason. Employees should not park in the best customer spots, and they definitely shouldn't confront or blame customers for simply parking correctly. It's disappointing and unprofessional. I love Panera's food and atmosphere, but experiences like this make me think twice about returning. Please train your staff to treat customers with basic respect -- and to remember that kindness goes a long way. I'll give this location one more chance, but if this happens again, I'll be contacting corporate directly.

One of my all time favorite places to eat. I love the tomato soup and the fresh sandwiches and breads!

My eldest daughter had her orchestra class the other evening. Prior to class, she was thirsty and we didn't have water in the car. We had 13 mins to spare so I drove to Panera to get some water. We went through drive-thru. Exterior looked well maintained. We couldn't just get water so we also got 1 half Grilled Chicken & Avo BLT sandwich + chips and 1 frozen strawberry lemonade plus the 2 waters. There were a couple cars in front of us so wait wasn't too long. Funny, I just realized I didn't give them my phone number to add my order for rewards. Oh well... I guess it wasn't meant to happen. Anyway, staff was super friendly at the window. We got our order fairly quickly. Thank you! Unfortunately, the Grilled Chicken & Avo BLT did not have any taste to it. It looked good, but it was bland. It was almost like the chicken wasn't even there LOL. We haven't eaten the chips yet, but I can't imagine it being not great, but who knows. The frozen strawberry lemonade was disappointing as well. It tasted like raw unsweetened strawberries blended with ice only. We did not taste any lemonade in it. Water was the highlight. It was very cold and refreshing. I was going to give it 2 stars, but service was exceptional so I bumped it up to 3 stars. Hope they improve in these two items.

    Missing bagel.

Pay for food they don't give you. This is the second time I've been to this location and they've given me the wrong order. I had to wait 20 minutes in the dive thru and ask the cashier twice if everything was okay with my order, only to drive home and find out that I was missing items. It's unacceptable that they charge you for something, that you wait, and then even after you've paid for it, they still don't give it to you. I will not drive Back to get a bagel. And if you're thinking of calling, good luck with that. I prefer to lose that money than waste my time.

Today felt like a good day for a bagel. Unfortunately, I didn't see this before I left. She grabbed it from the back and handed the bag to me. Isn't there quality control? How do I even make my sandwich? And it was hard as a rock. Not worth my time to drive back and return it.

Pupcups at Panera?! We will be back!

Even if there is 0 cars in the drive-thru, you're still going to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for your tiny sandwich that you paid 20$ for

When people talk about great restaurants, they often mention fancy places with tiny portions,…read moreexpensive prices, and menus written in words no one can pronounce. But sometimes, the best food in the world doesn't come from a celebrity chef or a five-star building. Sometimes, it comes from a place that feels warm, familiar, and welcoming the moment you step inside. Down Home Grill is one of those places. It may not look like a luxury restaurant from the outside, but everything about it--its atmosphere, its food, its people, and the experience it gives customers--makes it stand out above anywhere else. For many people, including me, Down Home Grill isn't just a restaurant; it's a place that feels like home. That's why it deserves the title of the best restaurant in the world. One of the biggest reasons Down Home Grill is unmatched is the atmosphere it creates. From the second you walk in, you feel like you're entering a place where you belong. Unlike restaurants that try to impress you with overly fancy decorations, Down Home Grill uses simple familiarity to make you feel comfortable. The lighting is warm rather than harsh, the booths and tables feel sturdy and lived-in, and the walls might be decorated with local photos or old signs that bring a sense of history. There's always a low, friendly buzz of conversation, the clinking of silverware, and maybe a radio playing songs that everyone somehow knows. It feels like you've stepped into a living room for the whole community. Whether you're coming in with family, visiting with friends, or even going in alone, it always feels like there's a place for you. Not every restaurant is able to create that sense of belonging, but Down Home Grill does it effortlessly, and that's the first thing that sets it apart from the rest. Of course, atmosphere alone isn't enough to make a restaurant the best in the world. The food has to deliver--and at Down Home Grill, the food doesn't just deliver, it exceeds expectations every time. The dishes are built on recipes that taste like they've been perfected over decades. You don't get frozen, reheated meals or plates that look good but lack flavor. Everything tastes real and comforting. The pancakes are fluffy, the burgers are juicy, the sides are seasoned perfectly, and even simple items like toast or hash browns come out tasting like someone took actual care in making them. Down Home Grill specializes in the kind of food people don't just eat--they remember. It's the kind of cooking where every bite feels like a reminder of something familiar, even if you're trying it for the first time. And unlike many restaurants where quality changes depending on who's in the kitchen, Down Home Grill is consistent. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, the food always has the same homemade, comforting taste. Another thing that makes Down Home Grill exceptional is the variety it offers. It's not a restaurant that tries to overextend itself with a giant menu full of dishes no one orders, but it absolutely knows how to offer something for everyone. Whether you want a classic breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a satisfying dinner, there's always a dependable option waiting. Kids, adults, picky eaters, and adventurous eaters can all find something they'll enjoy. And everything feels balanced--nothing is too greasy, too bland, or too over-the-top. It's the kind of food that leaves you full in the best way, not uncomfortably stuffed or disappointed. Many restaurants struggle to get this balance right, but Down Home Grill handles it perfectly. But even great food and great atmosphere aren't enough to make a restaurant truly legendary. What makes Down Home Grill stand out even more is the people who work there. The service isn't just fast or efficient; it's genuinely kind. The staff treat customers like actual human beings instead of table numbers. They ask how your day is going, they remember regulars' usual orders, and they treat everyone with respect, no matter how busy the restaurant gets. Good service is something many restaurants claim to have, but at Down Home Grill, you don't just receive service--you experience hospitality. There's a difference between someone doing their job and someone making you feel cared for, and the employees at Down Home Grill understand that difference. They play a huge role in making every visit memorable. Another important reason Down Home Grill deserves the title of best restaurant in the world is its affordability. Great food doesn't have to empty your wallet, and this place proves that. While many restaurants charge extremely high prices for food that doesn't necessarily taste better, Down Home Grill keeps its prices fair. Families can go out to eat without stressing over the bill, and people who might not be able to afford expensive restaurants can still enjoy an incredible meal. Being affordable doesn't mean the restaurant lowers its quality; instead, it shows that they care.
