Food: Cuban Sandwich with Mariquitas nice amount of meat on sandwich with good flavor. Lechon asado with black beans white rice excellent. Complementary garlic bread nice touch. The Cons: the sandwich pork slices would be better than shredded Service: very attentive and polite excellent Ambiance: was nice, place is clean Would definitely coming back

My husband and I decided to try this place out on a whim and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, the experience was exceptional! We were greeted immediately. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It felt like you were visiting someone's home. The environment was warm and welcoming. We started our meal with a couple of appetizers: tostones rellenos con camarón and papas rellenas. Both were flavorful and beautifully made. For the main course, I went with mofongo de mariscos and my husband had a cubano con mariquitas on the side. So. Much. Flavor. You could tell the love and care that went into making the meal and not one part of the experience was wasted. The server was attentive even as customers piled in. Not only will we be returning, but I highly recommend giving them the pleasure of your visit.

Tried this place today on a whim based off of Yelps nearby recommendations. Currently out of town and I searched for food places and found here. Happened to come at 3:30 PM, which is 30 mins before their Sunday brunch closes at 4 PM. Price is around $22.99/person, which I believe is better than 17.99$ for one ropa vieja meal? With the brunch deal you get to try all different items which is quite a steal. The vibe inside is quite homey and comfortable. Ropa vieja is pretty tasty and so are the plátanos. Cuban rice was also good, wish the beans were a bit softer though. Would definitely come here again in the future.

My new favorite Cuban spot. The food here is super good. Everything cooked to perfection. Seasoned well and flavorful. Specially the pollo asado with gandules. The waitress was so nice. Everything was on point. I'll be coming back real soon.

    Love the Christmas spirit

My first time here and I couldn't be happier. The food and cocktails were amazing. I started off with their complimentary garlic bread which was very tasty and homemade. I ordered a pina colada. It's normally $10 but with happy hour was only $5. So I had two . For appetizers I had their beef empanadas. It came with two and a side of chimichurri sauce. Very flavorful! For my main dish I had the Loma which is their signature thin steak. It also came with a side of chimi sauce as well three sides. I picked rice and beans with tastones. 10 out of 10. The service was amazing. I was created with a friendly smile and they checked on me after every dish. I also have plenty of leftovers. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. A party of 12 walked in and they sat them immediately. Plenty of seating. I overheard that they even have a kids menu. Pizza, chicken nuggets that sort of thing. It's not on the menu but you can asks what they have for kids. I love that they decorated for Christmas and even had Christmas songs playing along with Cuban music.

    I love this one

The place look small from the outside but I was surprised how roomy it was in the inside. The service was wonderful she was very nice and sweet . The decoration was very nice and simple not too crazy . The food was very delicious my only thing was the flavor on my sandwich was lacking flavor but other than that everything was delicious. I would totally go again and try out other things from there . So if you're around the area please stop by and give this spot a try .

    Cuban sandwich with plantains

Absolutely delightful lunch here. I had the Cuban Sandwich with plantains on the side. My friend ordered the Pollo, with rice and peas & tostones. It was a lunch special, perfect portions and filling. We tried almost all the soft drinks and they were all delicious. The Inka Cola is like Mountain Dew, but more tasty. The Iron Beer is a root beer. I had a Mango Batido for dessert. It was perfect. The service was superb and very accommodating. The whole restaurant was clean, white, and welcoming. It was a perfect place to have table conversation and bd able to hear. I had not been here for a long time. It's so good, I will hurry back!

Papa Rellena Platanos Maduros plantain chips empanadas and Yuca Frita in the appetizer platter.

The food is authentic and reasonably affordable. Our server was lovely, she spoke in English to me and in Spanish to our bilingual friends. The restaurant is larger than I had expected, with linen covered and paper covered dinning tables. There are booths as well as regular tables and chairs. The papa rellena was my favorite item. The yuca was delicious and both types of empanadas were good. The rice was not my favorite and I would pass on it if we visited again. The steak had good flavor but was definitely far from medium rare. The cocktail menu is delicious, we tried various options while at dinner.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. We have been ordering food for takeout from this restaurant for over a year at least every two weeks. We always order the half a chicken and the pork ribs. The chicken has never disappointed us. The last couple of times the pork ribs have been pretty dry and I have not complained. Last night I picked up the pork ribs as soon as I opened the box and I noticed the ribs were burned, not only burned but dry. I immediately called. The girl that answered said I needed to return them so they can see. I told her I live 25 minutes away. Can I send you a picture. She gave me a phone number which I sent the picture immediately. She never responded. I immediately called the restaurant back to ask what the outcome was. No one answered. I literally called five times and they did not answer, me clearly they could see my name on the screen. That was very unprofessional. I called back this morning, and I spoke to a girl that was not working there last night and in all fairness to her I did jump all over her before she did tell me that she wasn't working last night, but that she would find out what happened. I called her back. She said I need the receipt and I need the ribs back. I said I can't believe this. What are you going to re sell the ribs to someone else because I think that's what you did to me? I said I don't have the receipt but the girl last night found my order and was very aware of it. She began to yell at me telling me that I was raising my voice and that I was not respecting her. Like I said it was not her fault but the answer that she gave me that she needed me to bring the ribs back so that they could see them when I clearly sent a photo showing them. I told her I was not going to return the ribs so that she can resell them to someone else. At this point, I don't trust them. Where does customer service come first at this restaurant. All I wanted was them to give me credit for future ribs, but even if I had accepted that which they were not willing to do, unless I showed them a receipt and brought the ribs back. They probably would have spit on it. After really liking this restaurant for their chicken and the ribs prior to this I will not be returning. I have attached a picture of what the ribs look like. They were burned on both sides, charred and salty and very dry. So disappointing.!!
