Food - I had the French Dip Ciabatta. It was ok. Processed roast beef like what you would get at a deli. The au jus was nothing special. At least it wasn't loaded with salt. It actually reminded me of beef broth from campbell's soup. Service - the girl at the counter was in training so she needed lots of help from the manager who didn't act like he wanted to train her. Disappointed with my recent visit. I spent over 15 minutes waiting at the drive-through window with no communication or update. The staff seemed polite but overwhelmed, which appeared to be an issue with management and organization rather than effort. I usually enjoy Panera, but this experience was frustrating and showed a clear need for better leadership and coordination during busy times. this defeats the purpose of fast food. read more

I want to give a huge shout out to Kaylah for going out of her way to fix my meal and ensure that I enjoyed my visit. When I got my food I was not happy. First the soup didn't have any croutons. I'm a person who likes some soup with my crackers, so not getting any while the rest of the table had theirs was not appreciated. So I went in to get some. When I got to the counter the food came out from the gal that was there told me to wait and proceed to good other things. Another gal saw and seemed to be confused by that response. After a minute she reached out and grabbed something in front of both of them, then handed me a packet of croutons. Why the first girl could grab them real fast to fix their mistake I don't know, but I appreciated the second gal helping. Thinking that was the end, I went back to my meal Only to find the sandwich was disgusting. I had ordered a fresh sandwich since I really wanted some green, but when I picked it up it seemed dry and empty. I opened it and counted 3-4 wilty pieces of lettuce. Frustrated, and know what kind of service I got the last time I went to the food counter I went back to the register this time. It took a minute but a guy came to ask what I needed. I showed him my plate, and explained what had happened. He said they would remake it. I kept the soup and bread (since I had already grabbed the rest) and left the sandwich. When yet another lady (Kaylah-I think that's the spelling) came out with a plate to bring it to me (she also came out to personally check what had happened) I wasn't very hopeful. However I immediately saw it was much better, full of lettuce, basil, dressing, and everything else it should have had to begin with. When I took a bite.... So good! So from being the third and last time I ever went to a Panera, now I can't wait to get another. So thank you for fixing my dining experience. read more

Ordered two toasted bagels with butter & cream cheese open face as well as a couple lunches. Looked in my bag to see my bagels thrown in a bag. No butter nor cream cheese. Asked Amanda about it, and she insisted butter was in the bag and I hadn't ordered cream cheese. She handed me a couple cream cheese packets. I then asked if salad dressing was in the bag. She said yes. All this time being snarky with a grin saying "Have a nice day" over a dozen times. When I was walking out, she rudely loudly said to the sweet young gal at the register "Make sure you read the orders back so I don't get yelled at again". I never raised my voice. I was just making sure my to-go order was correct prior to leaving. Ironically, after leaving, my ordered did not have butter in the bag AND my Fuji apple salad was missing the Fuji apple crisps! I waited 18 minutes at the drive-thru waiting on my salad. When I finally received my order, I asked the employee why it took so long to prepare a salad. He answered with "I don't know." I said do you realize it took 18 minutes to prepare my salad? He said "I don't know" and he shut the window!!! This is not the first time I have waited in line for my order to be prepared. I don't know what is going on at the Gulf Breeze Panera Bread, but they need to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the manager was unavailable to speak to me because "she was online," which speaks volumes to why there are problems with preparing orders in a timely manner. read more

holy moly do no go here unless you have like 2 hours to spare and the patience of a jedi. pulled up to the window and literally waited 30 mins for them to even take my payment. the whole crew was off frolicking and scratching their asses not doing anything but yap. after they FINALLY gave me my food, to literally nobody's surprise, they messed up our order. bro charged me $2 for some bacon bits in my mac and cheese and forgot them. do not come here if you want peace upon your day. read more

So today I was told that Panera no longer will be making 'sesame' bagels anymore. This is very disappointing because they are my favorite second to 'poppy' bagels which this Penera never had. Is this a corporate decision or is this just this Panera? Now I will have to search for a bakery (which is nearly non-existant) in Gulf Breeze, FL. read more

What a big disappointment, used to go all the time, was always busy, ha, NOT ANY MORE, most every table was dirty, had to clean the table myself, fine, then I at least know it's semi clean, but manager standing around talking to girls, I ordered a Bread bowl of french onion soup, first it was small, but there was NO SOUP, no broth, just nasty croutons, and onions, it would of been maybe three bites, but again, no SOUP, I went to counter ,showed them the nasty stuff, they tried the excuse well maybe it's the bread and blah blah. I said for 8.00 there should be some broth, she did offer more broth, which I took, but was not good. Bread seemed old also, I won't be back and will not recommend the place to visitors, I used too, but no more. And CLEAN THE PLACE!! read more

Food tasted awful, I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato soup; the grilled cheese was ice cold and I was given cheddar and broccoli soup. I wouldn't mind but they both tasted terrible. I also ordered a pepperoni sandwich just in case...... the bread was stale and my sick mother wouldn't even feed it to her dogs. The food way overpriced it was $35 for the meal, and the place was filthy on top of that. read more

Today I was craving a salad and their papaya green tea, so I ordered on the app and had my husband pick it up. No complaints. Everything was correct, even the substitution. What's there to say? Almost every Panera I've visited has delivered a consistent, quality experience, and this location is no exception. If it wasn't for Panera's long hours and bottomless coffee, would I even have made it through grad school? The good: Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a reasonable amount of space between tables, typical coffee shop music, bottomless coffee, warm bagels, clean bathrooms, and a decent number of power outlets. Also, of course, free WiFi. There's also some kind of book exchange box outside that I'm guessing is popular with the teenagers. The maybe-not-good-depending-on-your-age: This Panera is across the street from a high school and is therefore a teenage hangout during certain times of the day. I came during the morning, and the kids were quiet and didn't bother me, but other reviewers have said otherwise. read more

We love Panera but this location was pretty bad. We ordered at a kiosk which was nice (less contact due to Covid). When we received our food it looked pretty bland. I noticed they forgot the baguette with my meal so I went to the counter and asked them for one. This man that I wasn't even talking to THREW one on the counter and said "there you go!". This bread was not even on a plate or on any type of napkin. So much for keeping things sanitary! The Mac and cheese with broccoli was great but the Caesar salad was meh. The croutons were stale and the chicken was definitely not grilled. I would definitely reconsider going to this Panera location. read more

We ordered curbside service. When we showed up, we had to go in to pick up our food. My over easy egg sandwich was shoved into its box sideways, and the yolk ran oll over the inside of the bag and got all over my wife's bagel. The food was inedible and cold. read more

Through my travels I have visited many Paneras. This one is in my home town and what a disappointment it was. One word... dirty! The pastry case, the drink cold cooler, the soda dispensers, the coffee station, all neglected over a period of time. Things do not get that dirty if regular maintenance is done. I doubt I will return to a Panera again. read more

I ordered a pick 2 with soup,Buffalo Chicken Baquette and a green tea.The bill was around 19$. It wasn't the price that was disturbing but the food itself.The Buffalo Chicken Baquette was not edible. It had very little chicken,hard bread,virtually no buffalo sauce and that was pretty much it! I took maybe 3-4 bites and into the garbage it went! The soup was edible and of course the tea was fine. I'll never order the Buffalo Chicken again. It was possibly the WORST sandwich I have EVER ordered at a restaurant!I figured I'd leave a review to spare someone else the misery. read more

This location is the worst Panera Bread I've ever seen! Poor sanitation practices. Food particles and crumbs everywhere in the kitchen and front counter area. I (used to) love Panera but I spent a bunch of money getting bread with missing sandwich meat. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a grilled cheese. A quarter of the grilled cheese had cheese. Nothing else. A quarter of the chicken sandwich had chicken salad on it. The rest was lettuce. No one knew what they were doing. I'm contacting the corporate office because I want my money back. I went back a second time thinking it was just a mistake. Nope. Still crappy. The bread was hard as a rock, the turkey tasted rancid. Do not go here. You'll be disappointed and to pay $40 for three sandwiches with poor quality is ridiculous. Will never be back. read more

Wife was going to have a bear claw, but it looked like it had been sitting out for days and was overcooked. This was an average Panera. Clean and efficient. Lots of outdoor seating. Wasn't too busy for a Saturday night and all the items were well stocked. Panera's prices nationwide are outrageous in my opinion-- it was $20 for two basic you pick two meals! But that isn't specific to this Panera. Sandwiches and soup were hot and tasty. read more

We chilled at the bar, grabbed a couple appetizers and drinks while we waited for a table. We had the crab claws and grouper nuggets, both were super tasty but the grouper nuggets were amazing. After a an hour or so, our table was ready and we were seated on the covered patio. I had the fried shrimp po-boy and we split a whole lobster amongst the table. Everyone walked away stuffed and needing a nap. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I would encourage you to try something new!

Much better than most Mexican restaurant drinks. Service - I left a 25% tip. The waiter was charming with my mom and he kept my drinks full. Ambiance- the same. This restaurant is reminding more and more of Mexico City.

After a nice walk down the beach, I stopped in for breakfast. Salt has a relaxing minimalist look. The tables are spaced so I didn't feel like I was dining with the tables around me. They offer a full ala carte menu and a generous breakfast buffet. The cold bar offers lox and cream cheese, and smoked salmon along with fresh fruit and yogurt. There is a made to order omelettes with a variety of options. The pastry bar also offers plenty of bread, bagels, and pastries. A second morning, I ordered from the menu. A beautiful bowl of oatmeal with berries and brown sugar. The servers both morning were professional with just the right amount of checking in to make sure I was comfortable. We did spend one evening at the bar. I recommend getting a seat early, seats fill up fast. There is a generous selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. The bartenders made delicious cocktails and worked quickly taking care of guests.

We had two adults and three kids . $65 per adult, $20 for my 5 year old and my three year old was free. We were immediately sat and I was confused where this amazing buffet was . Like I had to look around to where the food was . I immediately saw the carving station which had prime rib, turkey , snapper, and ham but was looking for a cold bar which there wasn't . The side bar had two bowls of salad, different greens iceburg vs darker greens and add ons such as croutons , tomato's, cucumbers, cheese, Peel your own shrimp that were lukewarm since they had no ice to sit on. The shrimp was warm and tough to eat. Not the peeling but the texture of the shrimp was hard and chewy. Then they had four hot pans which had the oddest Mac and cheese I've seen it was a solid brick when I cut into it , hard Brussels , there was stuffing , potatoes that also were very thick and weren't smooth and green bean casserole Charcuterie station .... side shelf . With a wood board on it was cubed cheese that were just sitting out no rotation . Meat that was in the shape of roses but when you put that food in the main walk way it heats up so the meat is just sweating and shiny. Just like the butter was in balls but it was getting warm . There was a heating lamp on the very small rolls and cut up pieces of Italian bread ? But that was it . Carving station : I had the prime rib which they gave me the smallest thinnest sliver ever so I asked for two since I didn't get any other proteins that prime rib was pretty good . The snapper was very dry my son loves fish and my husband and I were surprised at how chewy and dry it was. . Ham: my daughter loved the ham and it did look pretty good. Turkey : we didn't try it Desserts : Just go to the coffee shop / bakery in the lobby . They HAD WAY MORE desserts than this buffet did. The desserts that they had of course a lovely empty plate that I'm guessing was maybe cheese cake bites ? Of course remained empty just sitting on the desserts table as I watched bartenders and servers walk by . Gf chocolate cake , bread pudding that was dried in there since the heater was obviously too hot or didn't have anymore water in it so it's just burning up the already cooked food . Apple cobbler which tasted like it was from sysyco itself . Just tasted like a pie that was bought from a store . Peanut butter cookies that were massive but had no flavor , chocolate chip raisin , chocolate chip cookie and mini sweating pieces of mini chocolate cake that my three year old wouldn't even finish . It just tasted all like I picked it up from Walmart and put it on a plate . For the money we paid this expensive experience was just not worth it . We are Hilton rewards members have been for years since we travel often and I read many reviews about the food and brunches being amazing . This was not it especially when they charge 20% for the service charge . I'm confused for what ? Food was burning in the heaters, food is left out and warming such as cheeses, dressings, shrimp, and supposed to be cold meats ... Also there was no seasonal drinks offered to us nor any discounted wines since per the menu you had to buy a full bottle of white and not have a glass .
