Place can be hit or miss. Our last visit was on Father's Day, and it was a miss. Tried the new glazed salmon+strawberry and it was not bad but far from what I've come to expect at Cava. Salmon was a bit fishy, lentils were hard and crunchy, and the steak we got for extra protein was too chewy. The staff didn't appear to be I sync at all. The value just wasn't there unfortunately. It's ALWAYS busy so make sure you bring your patience. The line moved quickly but it was about a 7 to 10 minute wait. Staff is incredibly friendly which makes it better. The food is incredibly fresh. I got the harissa avacado and it was amazing. Tables could probably stand to be cleaned off. They seemed a bit understaffed but the food is flavored well. Super calm and relaxing inside. Stopped in for lunch while in town. I have eaten at Cava in Philly so I naturally had to have it in Pensacola. I ordered a bowl with grilled steak and all of the fixings. The flavors were good and the portion size was, as well. They were extremely busy at 1:30 in the afternoon. The tables were pretty full and the ones that were empty were dirty, so no one had wiped tables after people left. Cost for lunch was just over $15, not bad for what you get. read more

I wouldn't eat this if I was starving and would feel guilty feeding it to a stray cat. After living in Pensacola for 2 years I've come to the conclusion food here is just atrocious across the board. My husband and I frequent CAVA on busy week nights. It's a great spot to get a fast but healthy meal. We always get the create your own bowls. I typically get half harissa chicken and half falafel as my protein. The falafel was amazing! The staff is always friendly and there are always plenty of places to sit. read more

I love the food at cava but every time I go my experience with the employees is not the greatest. They seem like they're very unhappy and they don't want to even communicate with customers. It makes me wonder, Does the employees get treated ok because they always seem like they're in such a bad mood. However, today I met Dwight and he was a great employee and had a great attitude when working made my experience 10 times better then it's ever been. Dwight should be employee of the month and get a raise. I gave this review three stars two for Dwight and one for the food. But in reality Dwight gets five stars! read more

We love Cava and used to eat at this location a couple of times a week, but it has progressively gone downhill over the past few months. The dining area is often left dirty, and the food quality has become inconsistent and portions shrinking, with many staple items frequently unavailable. I have been to this location a number of times. The current crew was rude and sloppy. The rice was undercooked, and the way they threw the ingredients in the bowl caused some of them to leave the bowl. The person on the cash register cannot add and subtract. We eat at this Cava a couple times a week. For the majority of the time it's a decent experience and we keep returning if that tells you anything. My suggestions are to make sure you confirm that the rice and lentils are cooked appropriately because sometimes those ingredients are still uncooked/hard as rocks. Watch them add your toppings because they seem to want to rush you through that process and they tend to skip toppings that you request because they are in a hurry to keep things moving. read more

Horrible! I ordered 4 meals for my family on uber eats and only received 2. The 2 that I did receive, the food was ice cold, the brussel sprouts and some sweet potatoes were black and burnt to a crisp, and the worse part was that the lentils were under-cooked and some were hard as a rock, I could have chipped my tooth.
