Well, look what's not covered at Panera here on Woodhaven Blvd in Glendale, Queens... Looks like manager Sirjana still doesn't know what she's doing. The lemonade lid was on top of the iced coffee container, leaving the lemonade container fully exposed to air and germs and bacteria. Please see photos below. I hope the district manager, Joel, does something about this....

My sales receipt, September 17, 2024

Lunch on a Tuesday afternoon while in the Glendale, Queens vicinity calls for le pain (French for bread, loaf). This Panera Bread Cafe #204403 is accessible via MTA buses Q11, Q21, Q53 SBS, and Q52 SBS. Customer service is mediocre as my order consist of a complimentary French baguette bread side, but upon pick-up it was not included as I had to voice my interception to be properly compensated for inclusion of a missing item. "If you see something that is not right, say something!" which as a typical New Yorker I take it as a directive. After voicing my missing French baguette bread side the food preparer produced a rude scowl look. The staff who prepares the food orders and packing cannot read the order sales receipt which is clearly itemized line-by-line. Why are the staff utterly careless in their work? Accuracy for order fulfillment is a comical relief to Panera Bread as it is merely for public relations as a false illusion for a facade to be seen. Perhaps is it ergophobia for menial work? Hell no, I do not want to be a Panera Bread rewards or loyalty member!! I opt to take my order out after receiving such beneath and underperforming treatment despite of sufficient in-door seating available. Caesar salad (whole) $9.59 This salad was average, but it was filling and unlike cafes, or food chain restaurants Panera Bread's whole salad contained two (2) plastic condiment cups of Caesar dressing as provided. French baguette bread side This was excessively chevy and average. It does not taste fresh. I sadly miss Paris, France for authentic French baguette bread. Chocolate chipper cookie $2.99 Delicious as I am a enamored with the classic chocolate chip cookie. COOKIE!

I have not been to this particular Panera for several years. Only one person at the cash register, still have to figure out how to use the kiosk. I like human contact and interaction as well as find out the latest products. Ordered the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich ($10.89) which was very good. It was light and not heavy. After meeting friend over coffee, went back to order lunch for the kids. They have Value Duets for $7.99 (these are fixed item 1/2 sandwich plus soup) went for the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich with Wild Rice Soup. Soup was a tad salty. Sandwiches were awesome. Never had their bread bowls (sourdough bread) before. Saw so many photos from Yelpers so you got me ordering one with Chicken Noodle Soup. ($8.89). ***Tip- If you Taking Out or Pick Up or Carry out. Make sure you have all your items before leaving the store. The ladies who prepared the food order did not put it the Chicken Noodle Soup. That sourdough bread bowl would have been naked and lonely without the hearty soup. Tables were not clean. Had to switch tables. Did not see anyone cleaning. Bring wipes.

For a pastry ( bear claw croissant) to be in a bag with no individual label or packaging is wild; to squeeze it and put a pack of petite cookies ON TOP OF IT is even wilder. What's worst than squished food?? the flatbread to not have THE ADVERTISED RANCH OR CHIPOTLE SAUCE IN IT. So dry cheesy bread for the win I guess. IDK If this revenge for complaining about my last order but I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN Like no sauce. AT ALL. Hopefully my refund processes but they need to do better especially for its location

I don't know how, and why this Panera only has 3 stars. I came in today to grab a quick bite , and upon arrival this place is HUGE. There was so much seating to dine in (even though my order was for pickup). There was lots of traffic but it moved very fast . The store is broken down, 1 side is ordering and the other rapid pickup. The restaurant was also very clean, I saw a nice man sweeping up before my exit . I honestly waited no longer than 10 minutes over my pickup time for my food, and given it was busy that was no problem for me . I was even offered 2 cookies for the wait which I declined but really appreciated the kind gesture. I ordered the chipotle chicken and avocado sandwich which was amazinggggg, with the chipotle sauce on the side . I also ordered a half of a tuna sandwich, which was also really good and large portioned both sandwiches were very fresh. Anytime I'm back on these sides of town I will definitely stop back in. Great customer , and fresh food you can't go wrong .

Ordered delivery thanks to the "spend fifteen get ten dollar off" promotion. Got a full grilled cheese and a tomato soup bowl. Can't say the grilled cheese lived up to its name because it was far from grilled. Barely cooked on the exterior and was still smushy like any ol' white bread. American cheese smacked between some white bread is not the worth 7-9ish bucks (but I guess that's Panera for you). The tomato soup is plenty and I plan on making my own grilled cheese and eating it together (I'm sure I can get a couple more sandwiches out of it). The service at the store is really great and that's about the only good part of the overall general experience.

The pastries of Panera Bread are decent and we visit there every one to two weeks when we don't have any idea what to eat for breakfast. We have subscribed to their unlimited coffee plan for months and this was our first time seeing that all the coffee wasn't served in hot & fresh. Hence, we were disappointed with their service at this location. The indoor dining is currently available and their safety procedures for COVID-19 is pretty good. The staff checked temperature for every customer and kept social distance between tables.

Love this restaurant! Their app and kiosk come in handy especially when you don't feel like going to their cashier. I'm a big fan of their pick two option. I got their chicken Caesar salad with avocado since they ran out of croutons and chipotle chicken avocado melt sandwich with extra chicken. Also got a side order of their chicken noodle soup I enjoy as well. Always a good time when I eat from here. First time trying their juices..and I liked their Strawberry lemon Mint with Guarana & caffeine the most.

After shopping for furniture for my new apartment I took my mom here to pickup dinner. She's never had Panera Bread so I wanted her first time to be memorable. We opted for our orders to be to-go. We were beyond exhausted and wanted to get home in a jiffy. We were greeted and treated so nicely by the young lady who worked the register. She took her time to explain the combos to my mom and what certain items contained. My mom ordered half steak & argula sandwich with a small lobster Mac & cheese. I ordered a full bacon turkey bravo sandwich. Once we got home we decided to dig in. My mom couldn't stop raving about her sandwich. She liked her Mac and cheese sans the lobster claw. It was extremely fishy and salty. We were both under the impression that the Mac and cheese would have sliced up lobster pieces mixed in, however we were sadly mistaken. She also stated that the Mac and cheese was a little too cheesy for which says a lot because she loves cheese. My bacon turkey bravo sandwich was on the bland side. I couldn't enjoy it because it was dry and lacked condiments. I tried jazzing it up but I ended up tossing it.

This Panera is extremely fresh, clean kept, and provides excellent service. There is a giant fee parking lot which is very convenient especially being in queens. They have the kiosks to self order and it is very convenient. My favorite thing to have Panera is the broccoli Cheddar soup with caesar salad ( add avocado). This Panera is my absolute favorite Panera and I would highly recommend

    Yuk!

Panera usually has pretty good coffee. This place does not. Extremely watered down, and virtually tasteless. If you want a better cup of coffee, go to a gas station. Service was good, and the place was clean, but what good is that when the coffee is only suitable for pouring down the drain.

The food came out quick! Their kitchen is in the basement and they have the dumb waiter sending up food, so very efficient use of space. The Dumplings in Chili Oil (can adjust spice level and cilantro) has added texture with crushed peanuts. We got the regular spicy, but could have gotten extra spicy. They were a decent appetizer but I'd go for something else. The Abalone and Chicken Rice Noodles had decent chicken flavor. There were a couple pieces of dark meat, which I enjoyed. Not sure if there was abalone in here, but if there was, it was nondescript. The rice noodles were well cooked. The Plum Juice had a lovely smokey flavor, along with a lemony flavor form the couple of lemon slices inside. It was not too sweet, though I personally could go for less sugar. Overall, a decent spot for rice noodles. They do have multiple locations, so go to the one near you! No need to go out of your way.

The portions are quite generous, and the service is good. There's minimal interaction with the staff since you place your order through a tablet provided at the table. Be mindful if you have peanut allergies definitely let them know so they don't sprinkle peanut on certain dishes. Overall, this is a great place to get a warm noodle soups during Winter season.

Our table was uneven wobbling and shaking minimal the entire meal which reminisce "Lisa from Temecula" sketch from "Saturday Night Live," but not as violently aggressive shaking. Customer service is average attentive. Oddly, our appetizers arrived first and my wine did not. We had to request my wine which should be distributed first without request or reminder, thus the four stars. This restaurant was not entirely busy nor crowded for a Friday early afternoon. Nick's Bistro is a small cafe with a modern aesthetic appeal. I enjoy and prefer to be well-cultured expose to all international cuisines without judgment and an open mind for appreciation and global awareness. I am not knowledgeable with Greek cuisine, but I do know that Astoria is the locale for the go-to restaurants. I enter with a empty stomach. I exited fulfilled. Business cards and candy were available for grabs. Nick's Bistro is easily accessible via MTA NYC Transit buses Q53 SBS/ Q52 SBS and then Q54. Dramatic irony: this business name is also the name of my former love - not the same Nick, certainly not the same man. My foodie synopsis: Lamb gyro sandwich, $12.00 The meat was soft, but fresh and Tzatziki sauce was heavy. I do not consume lamb often, but once in a blue moon I would not exclude lamb to consume. The pita bread was the highlight which was fresh, soft and cooked with a good consistency without burning or harden. The gyro contain very minimum vegetables of lettuce, tomato and red onion. I always prefer red onion. This sandwich ate my fill to sustain hunger pangs the entire afternoon. Gyro sandwich is always my default Greek entrée of choice. Oddly, this entrée is price higher than listed on their website for $9.00. I do not believe their website is updated for price. Caesar salad, small $11.25 It was fresh and delightful filled with Parmesan shaved cheese. This portion is actually medium size. The croutons are thankfully not hard, but I never like croutons at all. I am always enamored with the lettuce. Ruffino, Chianti, red wine $12.00 This wine is one of my favorite reds, but it is difficult to find at most restaurants or cafés not widely offered. It was a joyous delight. It is exactly as is dry, very medium-bodied smooth finish Italian red wine from Tuscany, Italy, crafted from indigenous Sangiovese grape. It highlight bright cherry flavors and surely tasted. I was floating in very high spirits. Chicken rice soup, pint $6.95 Served luke warm but not piping hot with steam visibly emitted. It was also served with Oyster crackers. It was enjoyable and warm the heart. Greek Omelet, over easy egg whites $16.50 It was served with Greek feta with vegetables yellow zucchini and pita chips. I do not see any tomatoes. This entrée did appeared well prepared and well cooked but no runny yoke. My neighbor thoroughly enjoyed this entrée. Every time I think of omelet it bring flashbacks from past long-haul international flights major airlines of standard airplane food popularity for in-flight breakfast, often served with potatoes, sausage, or roasted vegetables. Nostalgia brew. Omelet? Flight attendant, I'll take the Continental with pastries, toast and fresh fruit please. Then followed by Bedtime Care Bear make me fall asleep again.
