Recently added the kiosks to order from so now have added option to order at the counter, kiosk, online, from the app, or drive-through. Ample parking but can get crowded during peak times and on the weekends. There are a few spots for pick up only as well. If dining in, there is plenty of seating, and warm fire place above one section in the seating area. Restrooms in the back. The menu items has changed a bit but seasonal items and some staples. Breakfast - I enjoy my scrambled bacon and egg on brioche with spinach here. Pastries - pecan braid, bear claws, muffins all good Soups - great for cold days. Autumn squash is one of my faves and great for cold days. Chicken noodle soup good for colds. I belong to the sip club and order drinks all over the country when I travel. At this particular Panera when I ordered my coffee with cream and Splenda on my app, Ian in the drive thru added the cream, but not the Splenda. I questioned him about this and he said they don't add Splenda. However, they added cream, so I don't see why I didn't have my drink prepared as ordered. I let him know this and I also let him know that I checked online for the procedures at Panera and yes, in fact they do add Splenda upon request, which is how it was ordered in the app. The Splenda packets were added in my bag on top of my bagel. I asked Ian how am I supposed to drive, mix the Splenda with my finger because no spoon or mixing utensil was given? Very disappointed in the attitude I received back from Ian. I just got a salad here two days ago and have been throwing up ever since. Do not buy salads here. They are dangerous.

The young woman behind the counter was nice, as well as the environment but I had the following issues repeatedly: 1) the coffee was lukewarm (repeatedly) 2) there was no whole or 1% or 2% milk 3) there are no smaller portions of bread, you can have like a roll with your coffee. It seems there is less variety than there used to be. read more

I love Panera Bread but I have to say the last two times that we went there it was very slow. I went through the drive through and I asked if a lot of people called out sick? He said no, this is the staff! 3 people working the kitchen. Tonight, my husband went to pick up dinner and it was the same thing. Very slow and they forgot to put one of the sandwiches in our bag. I thought I had left a review on here previously for this spot. This location seems to have very nice employees going through drive thru. There is a young lady there that is always smiling and has great customer service. She wore a name tag before that said Justin. Not sure if that was her name but she was very welcoming and very kind. I have used drive thru a few times and the employees are always cheerful. Smiles go a long way and they defiantly put the right people in the window to make your day. read more

Visit Date: July 20, 2019 I stopped in this Panera while I was visiting libraries on the North Shore like a maniac for the Nassau County Library tour. This looks like a very swanky Panera bread. I just got some iced coffee and some water but I liked the service I received and it looks like a pleasant place to stop at and relax if I had more time. I come here a lot and like it but sometimes little things get frustrating, like this bagel that was cut as unevenly as possible and left on their counter so long after toasting, they toasted it again and left it too hard. They also tend to place the shakes they make as far from reach as possible in the pickup counter every time and I don't understand why the lol of consideration, not everyone is tall or has a log reach, thanks! Ordinarily I am not a Panera fan, I want to love this place so much....and yesterday I did....I loved it. It was my stop off point in Glen Cove, just taking a break from work. I ordered the 1/2 Turkey apple sandwich with cheese and arugula on cranberry bread with the side Asian Thai salad with chicken. First the appearance of the food was picture perfect. It looked as good as it tasted. The Asian Thai salad was yummy good, with a spicy flare. The dressing was not skimpy unlike some places that think a tablespoon is enough. There was a large amount of sliced chicken in the salad, with crispy Asian noodles, croutons (I think), some other things that quite frankly I could not describe other than tasty goodness. This salad was a winner! I would definitely order this again as a stand alone meal. They also give you a piece of French bread which I could not eat. Too much food! The half turkey sandwich was also very good. The turkey was ....turkey, but good. The diced apples gave the sandwich a nice crunch and the arugula gave the sweetness of the sandwich a little spice. The star of this meal was definitely the salad and for me to say that is a tribute. I like a good sandwich and will skip the salad, but they have snagged a new convert to the salad here. The hibiscus tea is a little on the weak side. Barely any flavor to the beverage. The stop was a nice break for a quiet lunch (until the singing under age 4 child arrived). Thankfully I was almost finished so my brain did not take too much of a pounding by the "numbers song". Note to parent....Panera is not a theater to show off your child. Terrible service. I waited at the service stand for about 5 minutes, with no one to assist me. I then was yelled at by a young teen, which I found extremely disrespectful, ignorant and unprofessional. She wouldn't tell me the ingredient in the tomato cream soup (mind you, this is extremely important to me since I am lactose and glucose intolerant) and then I received no bread with my order. It's called Panera BREAD, and I got NONE. The tomato soup I got ended up not having actual tomatoes in it, and it tasted like a smoothie. There was also a blonde hair (and I made sure it wasn't mine at my DNA lab) in my soup and it had a dandruff taste to it. I Will not be coming back here. I have been frequenting a few Paneras since the fall and this location has been the most enjoyable. Aside from the food always being fresh, the place is frequently being wiped down. The staff works hard and that is usually indicative of a manager that leads by example. A simple eye-test: one of the Managers, Anthony, does not hide in a back office as many managers do. Inconsistent and rude ,dismissive service seems to be the name of the game here . I ordered 3 smoothies and soups and when I received the smoothies they weren't full like they usually are . When I asked the blond girl at the window she tried to insist that's they way they were . I have been going there since they opened and I used to visit them often enough to know that's not the case . They are far from the cheapest spot in town so I guess myself and family members will be cutting further back on our Panera visits . It's always about $40 and over but I didn't appreciate the flippant attitude . She didn't even make an effort to please a long time customer . I have been going to he panera for the last three months. The two ladies taking orders at the front are great! The person who usually works drive thru in the morning never seems happy to be at work. She should not work directly with customers. They run out of the box for the soufflé at least once a month so half the time that i have got the soufflé they place it directly into the bag. Not sure if this is a management issue but i have never went to a Panera that places your food directly into the bag. This location can definitely do better. read more
