Does the Panera Bread's Balsamic Greens with Grains salad contain an uninvited ingredient. I love the Balsamic Greens with Grains salad. However, as I was eating it, I noticed that as I got to the bottom of the salad, the type of greens changed from mixed greens to iceberg lettuce. Is this iceberg lettuce? It looked like and tasted like iceberg lettuce? Where is the romaine lettuce? On the Panera Bread's website, the list of ingredients included mixed greens and romaine lettuce (see images of mixed greens and romaine lettuce). The list did not include iceberg lettuce. I paid for mixed greens and romaine lettuce in my salad. The romaine lettuce was absent from my salads and the iceberg lettuce appeared to have been used to replace it in my salad. Looking at the bottom of my salad, it appears be a deceitful action to put the iceberg lettuce at the bottom of the salad. It appears that the action was to insult my intelligence. If this was iceberg lettuce, it was an uninvited ingredient in my salad. If this was iceberg lettuce, why was it added to my salad without my knowledge? Panera Bread, I hope that I am not being taken advantage of by the omission of the ingredients that I paid for in my salad. read more

Food use to be much better. The pastries taste old. They put too much sauce on there sandwich. The purple lettuce looks and taste like the part you throw away. The employee always look like they have fround on their face, No smiles , . They all need a course in proper customer care skills. try eating somewhere else ! ! read more

The food is excellent, fresh, the people who work there are friendly and polite. This location is roomy and clean. They need to turn on the in the wall fireplace when the weather is good and damp. The sandwich are very tasty, but the lettuce needs to be changed, the purple lettuce looks awful and wilted, also The tomatoes are not ripe enough they're barely red, tomatoes look more orange on the inside Not much flavor. *** All the cookies and pastries should be individually wrapped to keep it fresh, otherwise being in the cabinet with a light shining on it can dry it out and give it a funny stale taste.!!!! read more

I ordered the Asiago Sausage and Egg sandwich, which is supposed to include sausage, egg, cheese, garlic aioli and I added avocado. What I got was a dry bagel with sausage egg and cheese. I took it back to the counter and showed them there was no sauce and only one very small piece of avocado and they told me they "can't remake it but here is some sauce in a cup". It's sad that they can't even include everything that already comes on the sandwich let alone the avocado that they make you pay extra for. read more

Hate to say this cause we love Panera bread but this one is the worst location the management is rude like really rude they talk to you like trash I had two cookies left out n Dee who claims she's a manager was the rudest person I may have ever spoken too n was only to say we didn't receive our cookies I'm still in a bit of shock to be honest we visit Panera almost every day but I think I'm done rap at this location I truly feel sorry for the employees who have to work here if that is there manager she does not care like I had two cookies left out that is all n she was so mad ,,, I don't even want the cookies but I just want ppl to be aware go somewhere else we're u will be treated descent There is a Panera on the next exit go there the staff is so kind! read more

the workers were so nice BUT Manager was very disrespectful the food was good and three of the workers were kind they need a raise! But the manager was very disrespectful I was talking to the workers and she told me to move along. as much as I love Panera the manager ruined the experience for me. but I give this Panera Bread 4/5 due to the manager. I wish she wasn't as disrespectful to the customers and employees because the employees were kind hearted very sweet and had 10/10 experience for customer service. I would recommend eating there just avoid her. she was rude to me and my friend as well. read more

It is known amongst my people, that if panera is out of my Asiago bagel....don't talk to me. That bagel is the source of my joy. Without it ...heads will roll ( not literally...I'm really a lover not a fighter). I hope you understand the passion now. The asiago bagel paired with their passion papaya tea.....(moment of silence please)*chef's kiss*. I had to sign up for any sips for that tea alone. Plus, the added charged lemonades make it an even better deal. read more

Our order was messed up and we went to talk to manager making the food and told her that she has messed up the order and she didn't even say a word to us. Looked at us like we were in the wrong when we had just spent 27 dollars on food for them to mess it up. Terrible service. Food was good as well as people at the register. Manager in the back needs some more training on customer service. read more

I just want to put it out there to all you to be careful when using their website to place an online order for pickup at your local Panera. I did this and had several $100 deductions for gift cards I did not authorize. The only thing I had authorized was $7.41 for 6 bagels and cream cheese. To date - Panera has yet to refund me. Just a heads up! read more

I agree with the previous comments. Worst location and the "manager" who I'm pretty sure isn't a manager at all clearly hates her life and her job. She is in the wrong line of work. She is an embarrassment to that business and the best thing they could do is get her out of there and hire someone with people skills. Don't know her name but she has curly hair and glasses. I have never been treated by anybody the way I was treated at that Panera. I feel sad for the customers at that location and the other employees who have to work with someone like that. Better management would help them out tremendously. Also, someone should let her know that you can't tell someone to leave an establishment because they ask for their chicken or for a manager lol dumb. read more

I got the Chipotle Lime Chicken Salad for carry out and my chicken was pink and mushy throughout, completely inedible. It was disgusting. We wasted $10 and now I'm at home, 15 minutes from the store with no desire to go back there and waste more money to get something I can actually eat. With so many other quick and easy options in the area I won't be going back there. read more

I am a Panera Rewards member so I seldom interact with the staff when I do my rapid pick up. But when I ever do, they are usually very friendly, warm and welcoming. This goes for all lovations I've been to in Maryland: Olney, Rockville and Frederick. read more

Customer service this Saturday morning was not good. There was not even anyone in line. For some reason they served the customers after me when I was to go and in a hurry. Just had the lobster roll and I was not disappointed. It had a little lettuce and mayo served open face with the lobster. It was claw meat not tail but it was very good. I would and plan to buy this again. read more

5 stars plus for Alyssa but only 2 for the person(s) unwilling to help her with a Question. I have a special diet plan for 3 weeks and asked a question pertaining to an ingredient ( salt) that is commonly used in bread. She was very enthusiastic about helping find out, went to the back, went to also look for a book and lastly when not in the book asked another peros of who was more concerned with the customer " me not hearing their conversion about it" than helping her out. I also had a couple of rewards that i requested and one was only served for breakfast expiring today. She asked him about the process and could she substitute something else for it and he flat out said no. Alyssa was incredibly patient with me but also with this person who may have been a manager. Hopefully not since he didn't seem to have management qualities. I can only imagine people who have very specific diet restrictions daily instead of just for 3 weeks. I'm sure Panera's founders would not have let a fellow teammate wonder without helping them find the answer or at least trying to help them. Alyssa keep, doing what you are doing and keep up the great customer service and hard work. Don't follow the example this co worker gave today. I can almost guarantee that you will go very far and be very successful doing what you put your mind to. You made a difference today! Thank you read more

Comfortable clean and friendly ! Food that's whole and delicious. Quick service and now call in and pick up! I love this place!

Waiting 10 minutes for my order. The car next to me got there order the person asked for my name and said they will be right out with my order 15 minutes later still nothing. Walked in and was on in store pick up when the receipt stapled to my bag clearly states curbside pick up. read more

Every time I come here and do a pick up they forget something from my order. I go back to the car and look through everything and they either forget a cookie or a bag of chips. I have to turn around and go back in to let them know and I never get an apology and they make it seem like I'm bothering them or inconveniencing them by going in to get what I paid money for. read more

They have really upgraded their breakfast sandwiches! They are made with fresh ingredients and thankfully the eggs are not made in the microwave. Eh.... You never know if they cashier is going to crack a smile or look like they've got better things to do than help you. I do come here every morning for a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and an iced tea (because both are great), but anything else is sub par. The broccoli and cheddar has been slightly warm on multiple occasions, but that and the Mac and cheese is still just about the only thing I can trust will be made well. read more

NEVER AGAIN!! After ordering a "Large bacon Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl with baguette" I got home to find a small sized bacon Mac and cheese. That's it. Not bread bowl and it wasn't even large like the official Panera ordering app said. When I called the location, Sydney answered. We asked where the bread bowl was and why the size was small (the receipt confirmed the order). She answered with "Oh, your bread bowl is sitting right here." We decided to just let it go to save the gastos of having to go back to the restaurant and get the bread bowl. We payed for much more than what we received. I am extremely unhappy with the service I received today and the Mac and cheese with rubbery, fake, cold bacon on top. read more

If I could give this experience zero stars I would. Two weeks ago I went to this location to get some bagels for my job. On the app it gives the offer of having your bagels sliced and toasted, so when I went inside and ordered I asked if I could have that done. It was only 6 bagels. The cashier Quantae was so rude it was ridiculous. I overheard her talking to her coworker saying "were never toasting bagel packs again" and that me asking her to do that was "so disrespectful and rude". Its 6 bagels. It's not like it was two dozen. Plus its offered on the app. It was like I was asking her to cut off her right arm. I was in shock that she was acting like this. Even when she greeted me walking inside it was like she was pissed off that I was there. What's even more funny is the fact that she was complaining and she wasn't even the one toasting them. Another worker was. I will not be coming to this location anytime soon. There was no need for her attitude, it was only 6 bagels! read more

Something went seriously wrong with this location. We ordered two sandwiches and both were completely uneatable. The cheese was hard around the edges like it had been sitting out for a long time. One had half an avocado, not sliced. The avocado was brown and hard. Both were covered in mayonnaise making the bread completely wet. I wouldn't have wrote this, but when I called the manager she didn't seem to care and told me " I'm sure that wasn't really the case sir". I posted a picture of the sandwich with the avocado if anyone wants to see if it was "the case" let's see if the company removes the picture.... read more

Panera Bread - What they really look like....gross... - Sandwiches Near Me - Frederick, Maryland

I really like Panera, but.... This is the least consistent Panera I've frequented. It's really like playing "Panera Roulette" to eat here. Sometimes it's great, sometimes just ok, and sometimes just plain off target. One wonders when corporate will address the deficiencies?? On multiple occasions I've been served old/stale/spoiled food. Really not the right way to treat a customer. The staff is not trained sufficiently to deal with customers. Many are unable to operate Point-of-Sale systems, so the wait is longer. There also seems to be little training on how to rectify problems with orders/food. The menu board is about 1/2 the size of normal Panera menus. It's difficult at best to read, and makes deciding more challenging. I've given them multiple opportunities and they have failed in some way each time. I think I'm done with this location! read more

This place was great when it first opened years ago. Unfortunately corporate greed has ruined yet another great restaurant. The prices are now ridiculous for the quality and portion size. Save your money and go local. RIP Panera! read more

The artichoke-spinach souffle right out of the oven is delicious. The baguettes are quite good, crunchy and fresh. The chopped cobb salad is good as well. The croissants are horrible. It's a nice place to relax and read the newspaper on the weekend. My only quip is that there seems to be no system for ordering there. People just kind of mingle near the counter and someone might ask you if you need help, but I find it better to be assertive or you could be standing around awhile. read more

As far as Panera Breads go, the food is all pretty quality just be default that they are all the same. I've never had a problem there with any location. The problem I had today with this particular location was the cashiers that I worked with. The first person I encountered was slow and unfriendly, nothing big but a bit disappointing for the first person you see in a place serving you food. Then as we got drinks, they were out of Dr. Pepper so I went to ask about it and the lady told me she would fix it in a minute. I get that she may have been busy, but there were plenty of others just standing around getting paid to do nothing when there was something a customer had asked (and paid for). Next we decided to get dessert and walked back up to the register that had no customers in line and only one person working, but she was standing there on her phone so I asked "is there someone who could help us?" And she slowly finished whatever text she was sending and looked up to help us. She totaled up the dessert charges and then went back to her phone while I got my card out. I waited for her to do something on the register to accept my card but she never did so I stuck my card in anyway and it didn't go through. I waited and finally she looked up from her phone and said "oh sorry" and accepted my card only to quickly get back to her phone. I'm also a young teenage girl and I can't say I'm perfect with my technology either but that was something else, isn't she at work?!?! Really disappointing. read more

I have visited this Panera about 5 times since Jan. 2017 and it is a great place to enjoy a quick meal. I usually get the 2 for 1 which is a 1/2 sandwich and soup or salad. I had their newest salad with oranges, strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, grilled chicken and sweet poppyseed dressing. This was the best salad I have tried. I have never had to wait more than t min for my food and have never been unhappy with what I have chosen. They are very busy especially during lunch but keep your wait to a minimum. This the beat run Panera I have been to. read more

Not enough seating, long wait, and terrible wifi doomed this review. Need to step it up Panera.

Horrible experience with the manager working today Thursday October 4, 2018 at 6:30pm. My wife was given the wrong sandwich and when she took it back into (I was not with her) the store she said the manager demeaned her as though she had stollen the sandwich. She also yelled at the cashier claiming he got the order wrong. It was not his fault he actually repeated the entire order to my wife. The fault was the person who prepared the order. My wife's company regularly orders lunch for her office meeting as do I but we will certainly find another alternative in the future! I give it a one star for the cashier who was very helpful. read more

I visit Panera often in the northern part of Frederick, MD. The food is good and the environment is well lit and staff are friendly. This business would benefit if staff knew sign language as there are a large number of deaf customers that live in the area. Occasionally the order is not correct and that occurs when new staff have not been acquired enough training. read more
