Also Ask for a loaf of bread and you can taste THE most iconic Panera bread ! The size of the bread is so huge and it was soo good and soo fresh!! You should try definitely try them! If I could rate this one star, I would. The workers know they nasty as fuck because the bathroom had a sign saying -cleaned frequently:)- Well fuck to the no it was not. I hit a worker while opening the door to this hole in a wall bathroom. He was pulling up his briches and he smelt like swiss cheese. The bathrooms had blood, pee, HIV, and shredded paper towlee over the stall. The urinal was out of order. The food looks horrible, the service was nice as the worker was, but she looked as if she doesn't shower with the matted hair. Horrible. Lady at the counter was rude and pushy. It was not busy. So there was no reason to rush me. Afrer i had ordered AND paid. I was then informed that there were no red onions for the sa deiches. No loaves of whole wheat bread. Was not offered to refu d the cost of the loaf of bread. Had to choose between tomato bread and sourdough. And they just threw the 2 brownies and cookies in a bag. Not wrapped in parchment paper or anything. Then they handed me 3 bags. Never offered to put all of those bags into a bigger bag or anything. And the sandwiches. Horribke. Bland. And my hot sandwich was not hot. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!! $40 some odd dollars for nothing. Had lunch here today. After standing on line for about 5 mins, three employees had not greeted us and walked away. I ordered an sandwich without the meat. The girl at the front who took our order didn't seem to know much about the items on the menu. When my order was ready, I picked up my sandwich and sure enough there was Turkey on it. Of course I just took it off and started eating. After a few bites I realized they had no removed the paper off the cheese. Stopped in here on the way to Louisville for a snack and coffee. I went to the bathroom before ordering and the bathroom was very dirty- lots of dirt pileup on the floors around the stall walls and corners, paper towels stacked on top of the trash can and floor, and a dirty toilet seat with gnat like bugs swarming around it and crawling on the floor of the other stall. I almost left then but I went to the counter since I was desperate for caffeine. Stood there at the counter for 5 min and made eye contact with several employees, who ignored me. I ended up just leaving. The café area was also dirty with wrappers on the floor and under the drink counter. Nothing that regular maintenance cleaning couldn't fix but not very palatable. Unfortunately cannot review the food quality but I wouldn't choose to eat here again. read more

I come here because I work in frankfort and some days I just want soup. Frankfort is limited on soup places so I end up at panera. The food is pretty standard with panera, assuming they get your order right. My self and coworkers have had issues with to go orders and drive thru orders not being correct. We were picking up a take out order, I had to wait until the two employee stopped chatting and speak up to be noticed. This was about 2-3 minutes. I asked if our order had utensils in the bag. This was a really pricey lunch. My grilled cheese was mis-assembled if you can grasp how hard it is to place two peices of bread together so they pair side to side. Then make it cold and serve it with the wrong soup. This we pay almost $10 for (enough to buy an entire block of cheese and a loaf of bread). We did get the .99 pastry option, and the scone, cinnamon roll, and muffin kind of tempered the meal. Lunch for three in our town should not be $35.00. I've always been a bit derisive of the overpriced, fancy sandwich place. But when I want something that isn't greasy burgers, I sometimes give them a shot. Now their prices have gone up. $9.39 for a smallish sandwich, and a small bag of chips. Another $2.39 for a drink. Considering that my chicken avocado BLT was crap, it's hard to justify that price. The sliced chicken had clumped together, so I basically got a whole chicken breast lumped on my sandwich. It was joined, not by slices of avocado, but basically a lump of half an avocado. The bacon? Two sad, moist little strips. When my BLT lunch costs me $12, I expect crispy bacon, and a decent portion of it. Lame. read more

I tried to order online tonight from our local Frankfort Panera Bread, but the website indicated they were out of all salads except two. I called the business and was told that although they were out of Romaine lettuce, I could still get the Asian chicken salad. I sent my husband to order at the restaurant since I couldn't place the order online. When he got there, he was told that they were out of Romaine lettuce and they could not make the salad; furthermore, they had no idea who would have told me they could make one. He ordered a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup, and got both of us the bacon turkey bravo sandwich on whole grain bread, mine with no tomatoes. He told them to give me a baguette with my broccoli soup, which they said I wasn't entitled to but they would "give" me one anyway. When did that happen? I've always gotten bread with my soup before. He got home with our food, and when we unwrapped the sandwiches, we each had two nondescript turkey sandwiches made with exactly the kind of wheat bread I buy at the grocery. (And this is a chain that's supposed to be known for their bread?) Each sandwich came with a skinny half slice of cheese, a few sprigs of greenery, some kind of sauce, tomatoes on all four of the sandwiches, and a shriveled up piece of bacon. My question is, if you can get your sandwich bread from Kroger across the street, why can't you get some Romaine lettuce to make a salad??? At least the soup, the iced tea, and the oatmeal raisin cookie were good. That saved them from getting a one star review. I tried to call back to speak with the manager, but after calling three times I gave up trying to get anyone to answer the phone. I feel as though every time I come to this location, my order is always wrong. This is a very busy Panera location and there is always a line at the drive thru. This is a tough review to write because all the employees were great. The wait staff was great, but the food was sub par at best. The steak sandwich had a sliver og steak. No waiting. Thankfully we didn't have to figure out a machine to place our order, instead we talked to a friendly human being. Our food was prepared as ordered and delicious. We each had pick two special and a beverage. Total with tax $37.12. This seems a bit pricey for a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter staring up at a posted menu, pick it up yourself, make your own drink and bus your own table. We were given a pager, but instead of using it, they just shouted out our name about three times. Loved their tea choices! My strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken and half sandwich of turkey apple cheddar on cranberry walnut bread was very good. Tasted the tomato soup, very creamy and would order it myself one day when I no longer care about calories and fat grams (hopefully never). Other found their Frontega Chicken panini and steak white cheddar panini also tasty. Get the horseradish sauce on the steak panini. Restaurant looked really new, dining room had been inhabited by messy kids before us, but soon someone was by to clean up the evidence. Restroom were immaculate. Don't come here if you plan on trying anything new. I went through the drive-thru to get my online order picked up and to order my free tea that was on my rewards and when I was in the drive-thru I told the lady about my pick-up order and asked her to wait a sec while I figured out what tea I wanted and after 10 seconds she is trying to hurry me up. I was like, "I said, give me a second." I didn't mean literally. Then when I got to the window they acted like I was stupid that they couldn't understand me and that I actually wanted to redeem my rewards. Gosh, I must be such a bigger. I mean, I've spent a ton of money in here to get my rewards so why would I not use it? Oh and btw, my cherry cheesecake party was hard as a rock. I thought these were supposed to be fresh. I had to update my review. I've always been less than pleased at how small the soup portions are and the fact that they seem to often use stale bread bowls. It's not worth the price. In recent visits service has gotten slower and slower. Even when they aren't busy, I wait forever on a single sandwich. I come in today and I see they have redone their drink station on a sweetness scale. No more sweet tea. I would care less if this weren't the South but it is. I try the lemonade. It's really just lemon and water, very bitter. It wasn't​ at all sweet or even drinkable. I'm not sure what the point of the fancy drinks are if they all taste awful. read more

Props to Panera for having free wifi and plenty of places to plug in your laptop, cell phone, or whatever else is flashing at you and telling you it needs electricity. I'm not a big fan of chains, but the food is good, and they are well-equipped to be your office away from the office. That said, not quite up to my standards of cleanliness on my last visit. The food prep area appeared immaculate, but quite a few tables needed to be wiped down and the restroom needed attention. Since I was there well past the lunch rush and into the afternoon lull, it seems like there should have been time to spruce the joint up. read more

Well was very disappointed tonight at a place we often visit. We ordered three salads for my family and while eating my wife discovers a bug or fruit fly in her salad still moving around. I took it back to the counter and they offered to replace it and we took them up. Just after beginning the second salad, another fruit fly was found - still moving around - in the salad ( I took a picture). I took it back and they offered to replace it again. This time, I said no thanks. When Panera opened in Frankfort, it was a welcome option for grabbing something quick that wasn't a burger. But I've been disappointed lately, and will often avoid it. The other night I ordered a tuna sandwich. They don't bother spreading the scoop of tuna salad to the edges of the bread. They just plop it in the middle, and so the edges of your sandwich have no filling. The person manning the window acted annoyed that she had to take my order, and said nothing when she handed me the food. When she handed me the hot chai latte, I thought it felt light. While sitting at the stop sign, I removed the lid and the cup was literally half empty. It was about an hour before close, and they didn't look super busy. My daughter said recently they made her drink order wrong, and when she asked for a redo, they made it wrong a second time. Frustrating. read more
