Had lunch from there today. A pick two with autumn squash soup and a sesame chicken salad. Everything was very good.

I came here to study in the morning and stayed through mid/late afternoon--so it was perfect because I was able to have lunch here and study comfortably in peace. Parking isn't bad at all. After you enter, you can order from the counter or use the touch screen iPad like I usually do. I ordered the u-pick 2 and got the Mexican cord chowder and the green goddess salad with their signature chips. The corn chowder was fresh but not too hot and was smooth and creamy, and the tortilla chips gave it that added crunchy texture (I wanted to add more!) and the I always enjoy the green goddess salad- anything with avocado! I do wish they would cut up the chicken and boiled eggs that they add tho... It was all very good, and I snacked on the tasty chips right after! In terms of studying, I was able to get a booth near some outlets and study there just fine. I do wish this location has more outlets available though, as it's mainly limited to the corner booth I was sitting at but otherwise it is a comfortable and inviting location to study. read more

I work on an ambulance and order food from apps because it makes life more convenient. I am disappointed by the level of care put in for my order that I placed. I ordered the Green Goddess salad. I did customize the salad with extra chicken, eggs, avocado, and no onions. None of this was done. They also did not give me any dressing for the salad. I did not realize this until I was on the other side of the city and couldn't return to get it. I will not be ordering from this again because my order was not correct in any way. read more

Rewards, gift cards, or the internet were not working, but they could take your credit card for payment. The uninspired cashier failed to give me a receipt so I could enter my rewards later online. My mom wanted to go out to lunch today, and she wanted to come to Panera. It's been a while since I've been to a Panera. I got the broccoli and cheddar soup with the chicken frontega sandwich. I saw a sign by the sandwich saying "it's back" so I'm glad. That was always my go to sandwich. Anyway, this location seemed very clean. The dining room was clean. It was a pick up order lunch. I decided to try one of their new salads. It was awful! They used the whole romaine lettuce which means they used the end of the lettuce with hard white and thats all my salad was and it was a southwestern salad and I had no corn, no shredded tortillas chips no avocado when my husband was ordering it never said they were out of anything! My salad consist of romaine lettuce with mostly white ends of the lettuce four cherry tomatoes and thats it. The ranch dressing tasted like mayo. read more

Ordered a 29 item group order for my company and to have it ready by 8:30am. When I arrived they had about 85% done knowing it was a group order I was fine with waiting another 5min. They got our order correct but we didn't realize that unsliced bagels actually meant no slices. I always like Panera. My favorite sandwich is a caprese sandwich. When my order came, it was not a real caprese. I knew they were using green goddess dressing but there was no pesto on it and it's the pesto that "makes" it a caprese. The Chibata was great, the tomato and mozzarella were good. But the rest, for the price, was very disappointing. Plus there was something very spicy hot that my sister and I didn't care for. Panera is great, but take this sandwich off the menu or make it correctly....especially due to the price. Smh read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I went through the drive thru this morning for (1) item. Sausage/Egg/Cheese sandwich at breakfast time. I placed my order with only one vehicle ahead of me. I pulled up to the window fairly quickly and the worker confirmed my order--she rattled off the incorrect order. I reiterated my order. She then told it to the cook verbally. She took my card and ran it. I then waited 15 minutes for someone to return to the closed window to which I said "excuse me" loud enough to get their attention. I asked how long it would be and they said they were cooking the sausage. The window was open at this time and there were four workers in view at that time. I said I'd like a refund. The manager walked over to do the refund. Another worker said "wow"! and shook her head at me and said--"she can't wait?" Then the cook yelled "I have to cook the sausage, it's getting done!" All four workers had an attitude that I was asking for an update basically of how much longer it would be. Had they told me it would be fifteen minutes for sausage to be cooked, I would have ordered something else. It's crazy to me that the manager would allow it let alone take part in the rude service. Consistent dining experience. I'm so glad they finally opened a Panera closer to my home. I like Panera, even though I'm not too fond of chains, but this one is alright. I never wait in a long line at this particular Panera and the food is always consistent, even if it is just a "fast casual" dining environment. For me, I like their sandwiches and soups, particularly the tomato basil and vegetable pesto soup varieties. The potato soup is also quite nice. The mac and cheese is also pretty savory, but even the full order isn't that big, but it does come with a baguette on the side. Beyond soups and sandwiches, they have great bakery items, like cinnamon rolls, brownies and loaves of Asiago cheese bread. I don't love that the "fast casual" atmosphere makes it practically feels like fast food, just at a slightly heightened level. It's affordable, but more expensive than fast food and for that, you get to stand in line (or hit the drive-through) and grab a buzzer to wait for your order, go pick it up at the window and then dispose of the trash yourself. Like I said, I'm not a fan of the whole "fast casual" philosophy, but the food is pretty consistent and I've never waited in a long line for my order either inside or the drive-through at this location. The drive-through is pretty thorough and seems on top of things. As for the inside, the dining room is clean, with plenty of seating and an electric fireplace to warm up the atmosphere, and they have reliable free Wi-Fi, which makes it an attraction for people working during lunch on their laptops. This review is for the drive-thru. This Panera has somehow managed to perfect the drive thru system. I came here for lunch, approximately 12:15, on a Friday. There was pretty decent traffic flow in and out of the Panera. In less than 10 minutes I ordered, paid, and had my meal. Props to you, Panera, on this one. My only complaint is that this Panera doesn't have shortbread cookies. I was told that this location does not make them anymore. The shortbread cookies are like half the reason I go to Panera in the first place! read more

Really poor service, the counter girl had an attitude for no reason, and the food was garbage-level quality. We got a bagel (which was the only thing that turned out good). A coffee completely black. Asked for cream and sugar and got attitude. We also got a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt, which was either not cooked or microwaved since it was hot in some parts and cold in other parts. We were the only people in line, and it still took about 10 minutes for them to hand us this garbage. Would not recommend wasting $20 here, go trash picking instead. read more

This location is consistently terrible. Orders are wrong more often than right and employees don't seem to communicate much. Example 1: I ordered a tomato mozzarella panini (with EXTRA mozzarella, which I paid extra for) that didn't have extra anything and was burned black on the outside. Were they even trying? Example 2: I ordered two bowls of soup with baguette as the side for both. I was informed that they were out of baguette and would substitute dinner rolls. (Panera? out of baguette? at 5:00 pm? whatever) I opened the bag and found that we got baguettes anyway. Is this some sort of reverse psychology trick, so that I'll be really, really happy when I get what I actually asked for? Very clever. Example 3: I ordered a bowl of creamy tomato soup and a grilled cheese to go. When I picked up my order, the bag contained a salad and an apple. After checking inside, I told the employee at the pick-up counter that this was the wrong bag. He said, "no, that's yours." I replied that I ordered soup and grilled cheese, but this is a salad and an apple. He said "Yeah, tomato and grilled cheese." handing the bag back to me. I took the salad and apple out of the bag and said. "No....this is salad and apple. I'm tomato soup and grilled cheese." him staring blankly... then, speaking very slowly "I ordered tomato soup and grilled cheese. This is salad and apple. Salad....and....apple......" Another employee overheard us, took the bag from me and made my correct order. Honestly....what? Unfortunately, I still visit this location because I like the food (when it's done correctly) and this is the closest store. While I enjoy the food and I frequent the place I have noticed one thing that bothers me. The tables are never wiped down. There are always breadcrumbs and sometimes bits of salad or soup on the tabletops. We are currently traveling the country and we frequently stop at Panera because we have the monthly coffee subscription. This is truly the most unprofessional and unfriendly Panera I have ever been to (We have probably been to about 50 different Paneras in the past two months). We waited about 5 minutes before anyone took our orders (which were just two large iced coffees). They seemed put out to have to take our order and majority of them were not wearing their masks properly. One of the coffees we waited for about 10 minutes. People passed by us and avoided eye contact the entire time. We eventually flagged down the manager who was unphased by our wait, and we were still not given a coffee. We have now asked for the coffee 3 times, with no luck. A different customer asked for a refund given the lack of proper mask wearing. She was given a refund, but still nobody cared enough to change the way they presented themselves at the establishment. Management is absolutely the issue here, as she still hasn't cared enough to wear her mask properly or give us the coffee that we specifically brought to her attention. read more

I have no pecans, and the lettuce is wilted, however, they did remember to take off the tomatoes. Always like the food at Panera Bread and this is the first time I've been to a free-standing Panera with a drive-thru. On this visit, we were eating indoors. Unfortunately, the bakery items were pretty slim pickings by dinner hour, but still managed to get a Pecan Braid for dessert. On this visit, I went with the Pick Two and went with the Turkey Chili and a Roaster Turkey, Apple & Cheddar sandwich. Chili was pretty good with a little kick, but I really liked the sandwich and the Pecan Braid. A nice Panera bread location! read more

We have visited this particular Panera Bread now on several trips to the Flint area, for both breakfast and lunch hours. The food quality is what I expect of Panera Breads across the USA, consistently good. Service at this location can be great at times, and other times mediocre. On the day of writing this review there was a line upon our arrival but the management stepped in to help the line move faster and took our order immediately (good attention to service). Receiving our order took a little longer than usual as the kitchen seemed a little backed up. Our visit was between breakfast and lunch hours so we expected it would be a good time to come, but they must have been slammed prepping online orders. We tried the steel cut oatmeal breakfast and these were very tasty! We loved that they give you a mug for coffee if dining in...keeps in nice and warm longer. read more

I am thoroughly disgusted with this place. It started on Mother's Day, when I went to pick up a catering order I'd placed three days earlier. They claimed they had no record of it. They did piece together enough food for my family, so I let it go. A couple months later I went in to order a chicken cobb with avocado. It took the girl at the counter fifteen full minutes to input my order correctly, and then when I got the salad home, there was no avocado on it. Well, maybe she was new, so I let that go too. But last week took the cake. I ordered online, a cup of vegetable soup and a chicken cobb with avocado, and two baguettes. Went to pick it up, and after a lengthy wait, the cashier handed me a bag with the salad sitting on top of the hot soup. It had obviously been there a while, because the salad was soggy and warm. There were no baguettes, when I asked for them she handed them to me with bare hands, not even a bag. Again, when I got home, there was no avocado on my salad, and no flatware or napkins. This was a to-go order, how did they expect us to eat it? To add insult to injury, I voiced my complaints and was assured I'd receive a gift card via e-mail within 48 hours. It's been a week and nothing. I love Panera but the staff at the Flint location seems to be incompetent. I'll drive to Grand Blanc in the future. read more

The panera is right off the expressway and close to other quick food establishments, so we stopped on our long drive. The entry way and counter/order area were very clean, and the lady behind the counter was SUPER nice and helpful. The menu was quite limited, which for me with food allergies was not good; I wasn't able to get my usual meal. Nonetheless, I placed my order of a cup of tomato soup and half a vrilled cheese. The dining area looked like a herd of preschoolers had spent the day there, unobserved. I used napkins, water and hand sanitizer to clean a table and the chairs. The bathroom was in worse condition. I got my order, there was no baquette, and when I asked, the lady at the serving counter was quite rude. The soup didn't have the delicious little croutons I usually receive with panera's tomato soup. The sandwich seemed much smaller and not the same quality cheese I am accustomed to from Panera. The selection of lemonades and teas was a definite positive. The bloodorange lemonade with turmeric was fantastic! I sat near the fireplace, and it was warm and cozy. Had it not been for the girl at the front counter being so pleasant, I probably would have given this Panera one star; I just really expect more from a franchise of the Panera chain. It will do in a pinch, but if you can eat elsewhere, I recommend it. read more

Miller Rd-Flint location. Placed order at kiosk, 3rd car, waited at the window for 10 minutes. Ordered sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Lady apologized for the wait when she handed me a sealed bag. Got to work a few minutes late (because they were SO SLOW), opened bag and inside was a container of oatmeal with about a half cup of sugar dumped on top. I tried to call them. Phone rang about 20 times before someone picked up. I asked if she was a manager, she said no, just a minute. I didn't even get to tell her my order was wrong. She sat the phone down and just carried on, not on hold, talking to others in the kitchen just like no one was on the phone waiting to talk to someone. I waited for 15 minutes, hands free so I could work while I waited. This place has gone steadily down hill and they will likely continue in that direction. You'd think with the prices they charge the service would be better. It's not. Go somewhere else. read more

Every Panera Bread that I have been to has always been better than this location. Every time I order online to pick up my food at this location, something is always messed up with it. I order online because I change a lot on the sandwich I get and it's just easier to do online. Something is always added on that I didn't want on it or they missed something that I did want. The last time I got the specific sandwich, it was barely "half a sandwich" the butt end of hard bread and was toasted, this sandwich doesn't come warm and I didn't ask for it warmed. Every time I took a bite, all of the insides would fall out of the back because the bread was so hard. When I dine in at this location, the employees are rude and snippy. I'm less than impressed with the service here. I haven't visited this location since and I don't plan on going back anytime soon. read more
