Ordered a latte got steamed milk with no espresso .Good thing I tried it before heading out. Also ordered a breakfast sandwich that took more than 10 minutes and they made me pull up to the side for another 5 minutes because they messed up on the sandwich . read more

I LOVE Panera, don't get me wrong. Yes, they are expensive, but not when you consider the quality and freshness of the ingredients. However, with that being said, the Everett Mall Way Panera is by far the WORST location in the Seattle area. Nearly every single time I have ordered from them, my order has been wrong. Whether it be the wrong food altogether, missing food, wrong size (half salad included when an full size was paid for), or missing key ingredients (like the apples in a fuji apple salad...), they just can't seem to get their stuff straight at this location. My office frequently uses Panera for lunch during our monthly staff meetings because of their wide variety of choices. We have been burned time and time again with this location, and finally learned our lesson when we placed an online order at 9am for a 11:30am pick-up (for 14 people) and it wasn't ready when we got there. In fact, they hadn't even started it. Our meeting, which lasts from 12:00-1:00, did not have any food until 12:55pm. I guess it's our fault for continuing to give this location a chance, but no more. We have tried to reach the store manager and no one in the restaurant would let us talk to him. Shame on us for trying to give constructive feedback I suppose. From now on, we will make the drive to the Alderwood Mall and get our lunch there! read more

Every time I do the rapid pick up it's never ready. It says 10 minutes I show up 15 minutes later and it's not ready. Today they didn't have the bread to make my sandwich wtf? Isn't this Panera bread...how are you out of the bread that it allowed me to select! Ugh so irritating... read more

I was excited that they were opening a Panera closer to where I live in Everett. I have loved Panera since I first went there in Maryland years ago. The restaurant is nice and spacious. The girl at the counter was abrupt and could've been friendlier. Today, my husband got his free pastry for his birthday. Apparently she reached under the counter for it. It was a gross, stale carrot cake. Would never have it there again. Disappointing, so far. read more

I was so excited that a p bread opened right me but will never go back here again. I went through the drive through and nobody said anything after I ordered. I politely asked if she heard me and she responded with. Sir hold on I'm busy of course I heard you, do you want your total now? In the most rude voice I ever heard. I then pulled up to the window and mentioned it to this huge guy who rolled his eyes and said sorry. Not to mention I was in my navy uniform and was always raises to have respect for people. Dear Panera Bread, word of mouth will cripple you. Fix your staff because your food is food enough to stand on its own. read more

I usually love panera bread and was excited to stop in on my way in to Seattle. I was, however, severely underwhelmed by the service at this particular location. I was the only person in the restaurant, but it still took 15 minutes to get my food, and my order was wrong. When I told the girl at the counter it was wrong she gave me a deer in headlights sort of look that told me I wasn't getting it changed. In short, the service made what is normally a great dining experience awful. I won't be coming back to this location, but it didn't totally kill the entire brand for me read more

I'm giving them one star not because of the quality of the food but for the service and an off-putting experience. Here goes... I went to this Panera location yesterday morning and used the drive through. The print was so small under the types of bagels that I had to ask what flavors they had only to be told by the drive through attendant that the only specialty bagels they had were pumpkin pie and cranberry something. I told him that there appeared to be a list of bagels on the sign and that I just couldn't read them as they were too small and he said those were the only specialty bagels so reluctantly I just spouted off what basic flavors I thought they should have and then he said "we don't have that but we have these other basic flavors..." and I told him that's what I just asked! He still sounded confused so I ordered the flavors I heard him say then moved forward to pay. THIS IS WHERE I WANTED TO LEAVE & NOT PAY because the guy that reached out for my payment had these huge wart looking things on ALL OF HIS FINGER TIPS and he was NOT WEARING GLOVES and should have been!!! I reluctantly paid, dropped my card in my cup holder and promptly used hand sanitizer. Then I watched to make sure he wasn't the one putting together my order and he didn't appear to be (thank God) and when he brought my order to the window, AGAIN he wasn't wearing any gloves! I reached for the part of the bag he wasn't touching then sanitized again before I drove off. This guy, with whatever condition he has, should be wearing gloves AT ALL TIMES, especially in a food environment. I will never go to this location again because of his gross ungloved fingers and lack of concern for others health safety. read more

I really love the food at Panera. However, the service at this location is pretty terrible. I ordered a full size grilled sandwich, and the person working the window placed it in a bag that was too small for the cardboard carton holding the sandwich. The person working the drive through gave me my items, shut the window and walked away from the window. When I attempted to fix the sandwich, the cardboard container holding the sandwich wasn't actually closed. The sandwich fell apart inside of my car and on my lap. I tried to get the attention of the three or four people working in the store, but was ignored. It was so hot that I had to drop the pieces of my order in the drive through. When I called, the manager did let me speak, which I appreciated. However, there was no "I'm so sorry", the manager just stated they would speak to the person working the drive through. I'm happy to pay the higher prices for better food, but I would also like to have the option to eat my sandwich rather than having it fall apart in my lap and my car. read more

The lady that was working at the register was messing up continuously which was frustrating but our waiter, Ken, was amazing and so was the manager that was working that shift. We went on 12/3 at around 1:00 read more

Had a really nice lunch at the Panera Bread at Everett Mall Way. The order was correct, the food was fresh and good and the place was clean. Had to ding them a star on two minor counts. First, we walked in the door (about 11 a.m. before the lunch rush) and told the gal at the register this was our first visit. She didn't offer any helpful suggestions at all. We ordered a sandwich and cup of soup. She did not mention that there was a soup and half sandwich special yet she knew we weren't familiar with the menu and had just walked in off the street that moment and had no time to read the menu. Well, our fault I guess. We should have asked for time to stand back and read the whole menu but usually servers are eager to help you choose. So we each ended up with a whole sandwich which is twice the size of an ordinary sandwich, a cup of soup that was more than a "cup" and the sandwich came with chips and the soup came with yet more bread. It was far too much food for older people to cope with. She handed us an electronic gadget without explanation. I had to ask what it was for and what I should do with it (apparently it tells the servers where you chose to sit so they can bring your food.) And we had to ask where to fill our drink cups because it wasn't by the register. We really shouldn't have had to ask any of these things because we made a point of telling her it was our first visit so she could walk us through the unfamiliarities. It makes you feel slow to have to ask questions that she apparently thought we should know automatically. I'm hoping she simply had something on her mind and isn't that vague and robotic with all people who come in. The other ding is because the store is poorly set up. It's like negotiating a maze. And as previously mentioned, the cold drinks are hidden away from the registers. I will go back and try again as the bread and soup were very good. read more

I've been to this location several times. The food is good like any other Panera Bread location; but every time, it's extremely slow. Please hire more help, and do not leave your new hires in the front alone. read more

Twice now we've had bad experiences here. Showed up at 10:45 ordered breakfast ( till 11 on weekends). After ordering we were told they didn't have what we ordered anymore so we order something else. Manager comes out and says we can't order breakfast cause it was to close to 11. Then we find out they don't have small plates. This place will lose my business and I will find another location. Manager also wanted to argue with another patron ordering coffee and bakery items. read more

Made a catering order and because the catering coordinator (Colleen) didn't want to put me in the schedule FLAT OUT LIED and said they don't do residential deliveries. Which I know from experience is false, so I contacted Panera customer service and asked what their delivery policy is and she told me they can deliver to anywhere within the delivery zone of the store and that not delivering to residents as a policy was incorrect that she should have taken my order. I was also told that our conversation would be sent the manager and would receive communication from him/her. That has not come to fruition and it has been weeks. Yes, panera has great products but come on already customer service sucks with them and they never follow through at this store. Still will never order from them again until this situation it made right. Also because of that situation seeing friends from out of town was even more limited because Colleen was too lazy to take a delivery. read more

Took us 30 minutes to get through the drive thru (4-5 cars ahead of us) and then they got our order wrong. My vegetarian boyfriend ended up with a some sort of chicken BLT. read more

I can't recall going to this location and NOT having them screw-up our order. Every single time. So Sad

I have to start this review off by saying I was scared to come here based off the reviews I had seen but I really needed to use wifi for a big test. So I figured Id give it a shot and hope for the best. And Im glad I did. I ordered the youpick2 options which consisted of the chicken cobb and avocado salad (amazing btw) and broccoli cheddar soup of course. The cashier behind the counter was very helpful and had actually suggested the salad. I picked a nice quiet spot where id be able to plug in my laptop and my food was brought out to me in a matter of 2 mins if that. AND my soup was steaming hot! I was sadly disappointed a bit when the baguette I was given for my soup was much smaller than Id ever seen and when I asked to get more for my soup I was told it would be 75 cents. I wanted more so I figured what the heck and headed for the cashier again, he was surprised to see me and when hearing what I needed didn't charge me for the extra bread. (I praise him on his excellent customer service btw) Overall It sounds as though the drive thru gets bad experiences but inside everything was the way it needed to be. Especially coming from someone who went to culinary school and became a certified chef as well as being a server. Ill definitely be back :) read more

So bad! I was starving and needed food. I wanted something fast and somewhat healthy I went through the drive-thru and ordered a turkey, cranberry flatbread. You would think it would be pretty hard to mess that up.... well they did. It was literally thrown together. Half the contents were not on the bread. There was barely any turkey. The top was hard and the bottom was soggy. So gross. I had two bites and threw the rest away. Luckily it came with chips. Not healthy but I was sooo hungry. I won't be back. Total waste of money. read more

On July 18th, 2014, I visited this location and ordered a Turkey Sandwich with lettuce, tomatoe, chedder and pickles. The cashier was very slow and rang up a total of $11.60. I did not order any sides or drinks. She told me it was because I did not order on the menu. I elected to leave based on no supervision around her and I was on a schedule. I have visited this location two times prior ordering salads which are priced fine. The drivethrough however takes 15 minutes plus to get your product. If I was an investor in this business I would have great concern about my overhead and being able to offer a practical service level and product. read more

I ordered a $40 dinner to go. Food was bad. Small portions. The baguettes were thrown in the bag just sitting on top, no container.

Very disappointed in my Pick 2. Bought it to go, brought it back to work and the Caesar salad is so small. It looks like a small little handful of lettuce with 2 crotons. Won't be going back. Waste of money. read more

Overall great food and a nice establishment. The price of the food plus the quality of how this place looks lets me know that Panera wants its customers to feel like they are at a premier sandwich and soup shop but the service and IQ of customer experience is dragging it down. I was sitting in Panera telling my friends they should get yelp because it gives them an idea of the possible outcome of their visits to various places. I was reading them the positive and negative reviews of the Panera we were in. No sooner after reading a review that stated a group of friends came to try the Everett Panera and their entire order had been brought out wrong our order arrived. It was entirely wrong. A different table's food was sitting in front of us. The waiter seemed lost like he had absolutley no clue what to do. He kept reading off the reciept he had confirming if wasn't ours. The name on the reciept was a different person and we stated it wasn't ours which should have been all the proof needed. He then walks off to figure the situation out. He left the food at our tables. Someone else's food was left in front of us for 5 minutes. The waiter returns with his manager while I watch another waiter bring our food to a table of folks that had just walked in. They looked as confused as we did. The manager takes the food from our table and walks back to the kitchen. The second waiter walks us our order and literally says, " you switched tables on me." Not an apology but a passing of the blame. The manager that walked off with the food returned literally a minute later and walked the food that had been on our table for 5 minutes and then passed around 3 waiters to the original owners and they had no idea how many people had been in contact with their lunch. If I ever found out that someone had had their opportunity to mess with my lunch and that food wasnt replaced with new food I would be upset. There was really never a sincere apolgy for any of this and for that and the fact that their isn't a great awarness of the care people expect their resturaunts establishments to have when their food isnt prepared themselves I might not ever return to this location. When something like this happen it should be standard to offer a complimentary something wether its a discounted bill, discounted or free future meal , a complimentary soup or bread or something to show that without the customer their is no business. This is where new businesses need to focus the most. In the experience their customers have. We never should have been allowed to leave feeling the way we did. They got the production out of us but not the retention. The parking lot is full now because the Everett Panera is a new shiny toy but sooner or later they will have to rely on retention and that starts with making customer experience priority #1. read more

Went through the drivethru today, asked for corn chowder soup as part of my pick 2 combo, they were out so I asked the lady what other vegetarian soups they offer(I have been a vegetarian for the past 7 years)she told me there was tomato or French onion. I chose French onion and it wasn't until later that I realized the "vegetarian" soup she sold me was made from beef broth! Seeing as how I haven't tasted beef in 7 years I didn't recognize the taste. Very upset with panera for that mistake..the crew shouldn't have told me that soup was vegetarian without being sure. That's really irresponsible. When I went back in the manager apologized, gave me a refund and OFFERED ME NEW SOUP! I felt sick and upset, the very last thing I wanted was another bowl of soup! She then told me there is a book inside the restaurant I could have looked at that states all the ingredients in all their products. How about your crew looks at that before giving people false information?! read more

1st off, I've always liked Panera's food. Good selection and good quality. 2nd, I like ordering online because my time is limited. I can order, have it ready when I want, pick it up and get back to work. BUT, and this is why I'm writing this review. I ordered the Sierra Turkey, which is made with cheese bread but they mistakenly and used sea salt bread. Horrible!!!! This is happened twice and only at the Everett Mall location. The 1st time I could not drive back and get the sandwich replaced because I had commitments that wouldn't allow it. So I go hungry for the 5hrs. They said they would give my a free sandwich the next time I came back. Well, it's not free, I already paid for it. Now today, the same thing happened again only this time I made time to go back I get the sandwich I ordered. I called up and the gal said they were sorry but they have a lot of new people in training but they would have my sandwich ready right away for me to pick up. So I drove back, stood inline and then to find out they were out of the cheese bread that they make this sandwich with. If they would have told me this when I called them I wouldn't have wasted my time and gas to drive back. The gal was very polite and offered to make another kind if sandwich or use another bread for this one. At this point I was so disappointed I didn't even want to look at the menu. One thing I know is, this was the last time I will patronize the Everett Mall location. read more
