Wanted to give a special shout-out to Cat (Kat - sorry, didn't catch the spelling!) who did something unexpected and very kind for my kiddo and I today. We had placed an order for pick up but it was still being prepared when we got there. Having a busy two year old, I let Cat know that we'd be outside and watching the planes but would be back soon. This is my favorite national sub sandwich restaurant. They give you large amounts of each topping. The parking lot is large. However, it's right next to a tutoring business that gets lots of traffic. So you might not get to park right in front. Service is always quick and friendly. It's always clean and bright inside. I order online and pickup sometimes. Was recording at a nearby studio in the Mukilteo area and came to this Jersey Mike's location to grab some sandwiches. After coming here three days in a row, the customer service was phenomenal friendly and extremely polite. The inside of the store was very clean. Every day it was swept garbage were empty, and the bathrooms were clean. This crew takes good care of this store, and it shows. Now the best part is the number nine Club sandwich. I tried it Mike's way and it was so good filling and the taste was very fresh. I think that is also why we also came back here three days in a row. they also have a great variety of soft drinks. I forgot the name of the cream soda and root beer they had on fountain, but it was absolutely delicious. I usually like jersey mikes but this location is lacking. Showed up to pick up my order, wait in line, give my name and the girl at the counter looks confused at her co worker and the co worker has to remind her to check for online orders (Doh!) The whole point of online ordering is to expedite social distancing and streamline the process but if the employees aren't paying attention it does you no good. These are tough times. This specific Jersey Mike's always makes the most delicious sandwiches! It's always clean and the staff are very friendly.

They had Steve on the slicer and he greeted me the second I walked through the door, I didn't even think he was talking to me because he said hello and welcome in so quickly. He was able to multi task and get things done quickly and efficiently, you should've seen this man on that deli slicer! The younger girl building my sandwich made sure everything looked good as she was making it which of course I appreciate. Annoyed that every time I do an online order they screw it up. I ordered two giant subs, both mikes way, a number 13 add yellow mustard and pickles. Then a 9 with mayo on half and bacon. Just saw that Steve B. wanted me to update. Here it is Steve - 8,000 of your customers have viewed the picture of an unknown item in food on Google. So I was asked to bring the item to the store when they called. I went to the store and gave him one of the two unidentified items that were in the food, I kept the other one in case I got sick. Steve did talk to me on the phone, he offered no idea about how or what this was. I asked that he find out what it was and what steps he is taking to make sure (once he finds out what it is) it does not happen again. I really like these sandwiches but this location really taints the brand. I ask for a grilled sandwich and they literally disregarded my request, I was standing there when he said it! Where other location will grill it from California to Marysville but not here. I described how the other locations accomplish this task and he offered to do it as long as I didn't mind the other debris and grease from the grill. I told him he made it sound so inviting to have the debris on my sandwich I told them to never mind. I am sad to say I will not buy here again! I went there twice. The first time it was slow and night and it went well (except for the slow-ish service but no big deal). The second time was awful, one of my worst service experiences. Immediately I was meant with being cut off and snapped at by one of the younger workers to say the name of my online order because she didnt hear me the first time. I then waited for over 30 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. I heard them discussing my sandwich, then shortly after they called out an online order for a DIFFERENT name. Someone else took it. I waited about 10 more minutes and politely asked them the progress on my order. An older woman immediately said in a snarky tone, "we called your name 3 times!" This wasnt true because i was intently listening for my name the entire time (i wasnt even on my phone). They only gave out one online order while i was waiting, which she did call out, but she said a different name from mine and someone else took it. I corrected them by matching her tone of voice to which she became apologetic and canceled my order after i asked. Definitely not going here again! I typically dont leave bad reviews anywhere since i know what working fast food is like but this was a new level of bad. They were both slow and had bad attitudes! Went to Jersey Mike's for the first time in a long time. We just don't get sandwiches very often. Place was clean and the sandwiches were actually really good. While I was there some jerk customer, who had just placed their order, yelled at the nice lady helping me. He demanded that she stop taking my order and finish his sandwich. The lady tried to explain that she was working on his order and was getting a list of meats that needed to be cut. You know, trying to be efficient and get orders out quickly. I asked the a-hole if he was in a rush or something and he said that the lady was helping everyone except for him. I was the only one in line behind him and the person in front was having their sandwich finished by the employee that handles that part of the sandwich building. The lady politely said she was helping and tried to explain but the guy cut her off told her he wasn't talking to her. Anyway the lady finished taking my order and I walked by the guy saying he was too funny. He yelled at the lady to stop his order and stormed out. A couple minutes later he storms back in yelling at the lady from the moment he opened the door saying he's going to have her fired and that will never come back. The lady employee handled it very well and thanked him for his feedback. Seriously, this stuff needs to stop. People like this need to be banned. These employees worked hard while I was there cranking out pick up orders(or pre-orders). They don't deserve that kind of abuse. read more

Awful service avoid this location like the plague. I had an online pickup and went straight to the online spot. I was ignored for seven minutes while they kept ringing up customers. Perhaps I should have just went to the back of the line and waitedBut what's the point of ordering online? I love jersey mikes but will never go to this one again. They should be ashamed of themselves. Update 4/2020 So the owner reached out to me and I agreed to give this location another chance. I am so glad I did! He admitted I caught them on a day they were training a new team member which gave a lot of explanation to the service issues. Their sandwiches are really delicious, they are pricey but you get what you pay for. Great ingredients (their bacon is to die for) and the service was fast and friendly. UPDATE: I admit I am a bit of a cheapskate so the comments I make on the prices is not about Jersey Mike's but about me. I am saying this because I don't want to hurt their business based on my comments. We went to here today for lunch because we got a postcard coupon in the mail for a free regular sized sandwich. The free sandwich was really the only reason we went here out of the cost is simply hard for us to pay 10+ dollars for a regular size sandwich when there's places that have them just as good or better for less. However two regular size sandwiches for $10.81 is pretty good so we were happy with that because the coupon and both got a chicken Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and I would say they were pretty tasty. The people working there were friendly and nice and helpful and got us our food pretty quick and the atmosphere was comfortable. In the restroom were clean-ish I would say I've seen a lot worse but I've also seen better. Overall I'd say it was a good experience the staff were nice and slow and sandwiches were tasty unfortunately it's not at the top of our list were paying regular price as mentioned before read more

My wife and I stopped in at 7:00PM on a Friday night to split a number 7 on wheat Mikes way of course and was informed the only bread choice was white or a wrap. We left without our dinner and went to the Alderwood/Lynnwood Jersey Mikes where they had a full bread selection. This store was scheduled to be open until 9PM yet they were either too lazy to bake or so concerned about waste they lost my business. WTF? I expected more than this. I've been going to this location for years and the last time I noticed quite a few flies in the restaurant but I figured it's becoming summer so possibly understandable but today not only where there several flies circling the eating area but nothing is bring done to mitigate them, then I started taking a closer look at the refrigerator case, the walls , the entire restaurant, the ceiling and seen how filthy it is, very dirty, the glass throughout the restaurant needs to be cleaned and the whole restaurant. I've never had a soup sandwich until today and I had no idea and I'm sure Jersey Mike's had any idea they offered one. I had gotten a Giant Club Sub to share with my girl, sadly it was ruined because whoever prepared it, obviously wasn't trained correctly on how to splash on the olive oil and red vinegar the way JM prides themselves of having that something extra. And I quote from the JM website "Red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend. It's how a Jersey Mike's sub gets its exquisite zing. It's how bites get boosted, and a great sub becomes an even better one. The Juice adds that certain something extra. An exclamation. The kind of exclamation... you can eat." This hasn't been the first time this has happened. At the Bothell location it was happening for awhile until the person was terminated because since then I haven't had an issue with soggy sandwiches, and no it's not because I left it sit for a couple hours because even when I did last week when I got a sandwich from the Bothell location the sandwich still tasted fresh after being left out for a couple hours because I wanted to save the other half to eat after work. I'm not asking y'all to fire who ever made the sandwich but to make sure all of your employees know how to properly splash the O&RV with a light flick of the wrist. The sauce shouldn't be dripping through the bag, and the bread shouldn't feel as if someone dipped it into O&RV, I had to use the bag the sandwich came along with the paper that it was wrapped in to keep the puddle of O&RV from dripping all over my table. The place was decent. I like they cut their meats and cheeses to order instead of having them prepackaged (I'm talking about you Subway.) Subs are LARGE here, so unless you are really hungry or looking for leftovers, go with a smaller size then you are used to. Also, be prepared for massive amounts of lettuce. The crew impressed me today in that it appeared everyone was trying so hard. The food is always good in my opinion; the challenge is the timing and presentation. Today the manager seemed appropriately distressed about meeting the promised timing for sandwiches/ training and tuning the employees and engaging customers. The primary sandwich maker was slower than usual but there was great care in alignment, portioning, etc. In the end, I'd say well done, even if it was 20 not 15 minutes. read more
