Though Panera is household name, I am still always amazed at how good this place is. This is a new location and they did good! Today I walked over to get some breakfast. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I asked if I could change the cheese and was presented a ton of options. I chose asiago parmesan. While I was waiting, I heard the chefs talking about it saying how good that sounds. The MOD said she was going to try it! The sandwich was delicious, the ambiance is relaxing, the wifi is free as are the refills. Oh and the cookies are out of this world! read more

I ordered 20 egg soufflés and a cinnamon crumb cake for a bridal shower I hosted this past weekend. Everything was ready to pick up on time, the soufflés were warm, and all of my guests raved about them. This is fast food with all that that implies. The soups are trucked in in bags and reheated. I'm sure the salads and bread is the same way. You are over paying for the illusion of fresher and healthier options for lunch. Just get a pre made salad or sandwich at the grocery store. It'll be cheaper and have less salt. read more

Here's what I feel about it - they are out of food all the time - they don't have anything that you like or want - whatever time you go, if you go early their kitchen is slow , If you go a bit late they are out of it - they are slow in helping customers. You'll be literally standing in line for atleast 20-30 mins before they help you. There is only one customer in front of you , but still it takes them a long time to help. - manager didn't even help out I'm writing this because I've seen this time and again, so now it's done. They were literally out of lettuce and bread. BREAD. I normally wouldn't write a review but I'm pretty annoyed right now. I just wanted a salad and a bread bowl with soup. Not only were they out of bread bowls and lettuce, they were out of regular freaking baguettes. And by the look of the other reviews on here, it seems as if this is normal for them. Let me start off saying I like the food, but this is a consistent problem with the salads. I like dressing for my big salad so I always order extra but I swear, every time I do, in fact every time I order a salad in general they give me a tiny amount in the already small cups. Is there a dressing shortage that I don't know of. Went to Panera bread in Everett, WA July 5, 2018 for a cinnamon crunch bagel with walnut honey cream cheese and coffee. After paying for my order, I got coffee, which was lukewarm. Then I waited for my bagel, but it never came. After about a 1/2 hour, I got up and got my bagel. The cream cheese with it was maybe about a table spoon in a desperate cup. I then complained to the front desk. The manager came to my table, took my cup and added more cream cheese. In the meantime, the coffee in the machine was cold and it took more time for them to make a fresh pot. The manager came back to me with a full refund. But that does not cover bad service. read more

This Panera has horrible customer service. We eat in usually and our food always come out cold and very inconsistent. I frequently come to this Panera before and after work, and the food is pretty good but the customer service is pretty horrible. Every time I come through, they say they are out of cookies, but on the app there are always plenty which I don't appreciate. I am currently sitting in the line, post ordering, in which the girl whole I was speaking with through the drive through was extremely rude. Before I even got a chance to order my entire meal I was interrupted every item I ordered with an impatient "Anything else.?" Like I ordered a pick two, of course there's something else. My husband fell on their mopped floor last night! They did not have a caution sign out and he slipped right on his butt! The manager was terrible! Did not seem to care at all about his wellbeing. Ordered a rapid pickup (10 minutes) for two sandwiches and a latte. The order took close to 20 minutes to complete. It was dead inside, but there were 3-4 employees behind the counter. When we walked in, I heard them saying they had to "remake it again" which I'm assuming meant my sandwich, since we were the only customers there. We get our food and I check my panini for no cheese. We are good to go. However, walking out my friend tastes her latte and says it tastes like water. I'm a barista, so I taste it and it definitely tastes and looks like microwaved milk with some drip coffee, not a vanilla latte. I'm not implying this is what was made, but it tastes like it. We bring it back and are told by the woman who made it that she made it and she knows there's coffee in it and that if someone remakes it, then it will taste the same. She seemed to make a big deal about it and get offended. Not exactly good customer service. While this is going on, another woman quietly remakes the latte and surprises us with it. This one actually tastes like it's supposed to. We get to my friends house. My sandwich has half as much chicken and two slices of avocado. Like they tried to make a full sandwich with the ingredients for half of one. It is also not grilled all the way. My friend's BLT is missing the bacon and is also suffering from the same meat/avocado shortage. I've had both of these sandwiches multiple times and this is not how they are supposed to be made. While I am used to Panera screwing up my order most of the time, be it missing side, missing salad dressing, or ignoring "no cheese," I have never before paid Panera $25 to screw up everything and take twice as long to do it. read more

I really like the food at Panera - Until recently, I have continuously had Panera for Lunch or Dinner, at least once a week. Less than a year after it opened, the service took a nose dive but more importantly the accuracy of food did. I slowly, but surely, eliminated trips to Panera eventually dwindling to vowing to never again--specifically the Everett location. As I read the other reviews, nearly all of the mention the same issues.. the sad thing is, I can handle crappy attitudes and slow service, provided my actual order (straight off the menu, no substitutions or changes) came out of correct the first time. I kid you not, I would say 7 out of 10 visits something major was inaccurate with our simple order: no meat on sandwich, missing salad toppings, incorrect dressing... these are things that should be nearly fail proof. In addition, not only do I get an extremely negative attitude in response to asking politely for my food to be fixed, but I have never, not once, been offered anything in return for my inconvenience (pastry, coupon, discount, etc). There was one employee in particular that I probably had to ask for my order to be corrected a dozen times---never once an apology, or even an acknowledgement that I'd ever had an issue before. The drive thru is my preferred choice but after less than a year of hoping they'd get it right--I had no choice but to discontinue using it as I am always needed to pull out every single item out of my bag and physically inspect it so I can have it fixed before I get all the way home... it's pretty sad when you go in KNOWING this will have to be done.... I've never had any of the issues at any of the other Panera's I have patronized and it's frustrating and upsetting that we get the pleasure of having this half-assed version of Panera. The visit that become my last, I went in to order myself and my girlfriend the same two salads we had been getting since Day #1 to be told they no longer have those? What do you mean? They've had both since the first day I discovered Panera. You can't still make it, I'm sure they have the required ingredients as I gaze up at the menu and look at the ingredients in some of the other ones. No apology, no recommendation of a new salad... it didn't bother them one bit, in fact, I sensed a sigh of relief from them as I turned around and left to go look elsewhere for 2 overpriced salads. I left a critical but constructive message on the corporate phone number and sent a similar e-mail; and well over 1 entire year later---I have yet to receive a response or any sort of acknowledgement that it was receive....maybe it's not just Everett? read more

My previous review focused on the fact that my order has been incorrect many times. This problem never really got fixed but I continued to frequent Panera as I love their lunch options in the area I work in that lacks things such as a good salad. I just learned to double check my food before leaving. :) This review is based solely on my experience today @ 2pm, a slower time of the day for lunch. Upon entering, there was 2 customers paying and 1 waiting to be helped. The 1 was helped by the 1 person working the register. She wanted a loaf of bread sliced. This task must have taken 3-4 minutes in which we stood watching his back as he slowly sliced the bread for this customer, never acknowledging us. While standing there, several employees from the kitchen area noticed us just standing there not being helped. There were 7 employees in the kitchen/drive thru area... 7! Once the customer was given her bread, the employee (the only employee working the front) then walked past the registers and towards another employee and started talking to them about that employees break. Wait, what? Do you not see us? We have been standing here patiently awaiting our order being taken. It's one thing to wait for your food to be made, it's another thing to not even have the order in the system. We stood listening to him talk to another employee about that employee going on break. Then he walked back to his register and asked us if we had decided on our order. Really? We then told him we had decided to leave as we had waited so long. He did apologize and said he was helping a customer. We pointed out that we understood that part but then we waited as he talked to another employee and didn't even acknowledge us. Knowing how long we stood there and not even said hello to or that he'd be with us soon, he failed us on a customer service level. I have no problem waiting to be helped, waiting for my food, etc. I DO have a problem with being treated like a ghost. Basic customer service 101. At this point, I do think I'm done giving my money to this business. I certainly tried to look past certain issues for the past 2 years but it's time to end this relationship. Goodbye Panera Everett... I'll miss your souffles for breakfast, your thai salads for lunch, your broccoli cheddar soup, your frosted shortbread cookies, your mango smoothies... but like an abusive relationship, I must stand up for myself and my wallet. xo read more

Love just about everything here. The sandwiches are always fresh. The broccoli cheddar soup and the loaded potato soup are awesome. The chicken Cesar salad is always delicious. The Green passion smoothie is addictive. The drive thru always gets my order right and they are really friendly. The only thing that I'm not very fond of is their coffee. It's just not very good. This location is absolutely horrible!!! Was really excited to see one open right down the road from me so I didn't always have to drive out to alderwood. My first experience at this location got my usual French onion soup and Greek salad. My Greek salad had blue cheese crumbles all over it instead of feta (BARF) so sent it back. My second time at this location was eating my soup and came across what I thought was a weird noodle I had never seen before only to find out it was a huge fat larva of some kind. I seriously wanted to cry and barf all over the place and the thought I almost ate that. I have not been back since let alone to any of the other locations. Overall I love panera. I've been to several locations throughout the country. I still like the Everett location but I take issue with how often they are out of items that make up certain dishes. I've been there on like 5 or 6 occasions when they have been "out" of certain ingredients....... but at least they have always told me in the past BEFORE I actually receive the items. Today I went thru the drive thru to order a spinach power salad. I get home and there are NO HARD BOILED EGGS. Really? Wouldn't that be an important item to report as out of stock?? I will start this by saying I LOVE Panera, I would eat there at least weekly if they were closer. This location is the most convenient but it's still about a 20 minute drive. The downside is this location is by far the worst Panera I have ever visited. The customer service is terrible, the service is slow, and they are always out of breads. I've been here probably 7 or 8 times and they always manage to run out of bread or screw up my order. Tonight I decided a salad sounded great so I drove the 20 minutes to find out they closed at 7 for a staff meeting. Who has a staff meeting at 7PM when they serve dinner? I showed up a 6:58 and they turned me away. From the reviews I see from others it sounds like this is just a terrible location. This was my first time trying this location and my last. The cashier was inconvenienced by my presence and wanting to order food. So after Samantha was done talking to her coworker she finally decided to help me. It was a pickup and go order and she was irritated when I didn't leave a tip. Why would you tip for something you are taking elsewhere to eat? So I went down the hallway to wait for my order and had the pleasure of listening to the employees behind the line disrespect a customer on the phone who wanted 17 lunchboxes in an hour. Maybe it's common knowledge at Panera that it's a 2 hour window, but to normal customers it isn't. The manager should be ashamed for referring to the customer as a "moron" when the phone call was done. Maybe Panera Bread has forgotten that customer service is your main priority. First day open, epic fail!! Out of 3 different types of bread, panini thrown together with all the ingredients clumped into one corner of the bread, no croutons on my Caesar salad, out of the bread that comes with the salad and the whole ordeal took forever.
